Please explain this.
>>
>>60802843
A vampire that is a rock
>>

Like this, but, like, a vampire.

It's stupid, is what it is.
He should have just left it at "we take no responsibility for anyone stepping foot on Luna".
>>
>>60802500
>>
>>60802745
I was heavily considering it, but I thought it would be more interesting otherwise. I actually didn't take either of the drawbacks listed in my original build and picked them up more to make me more stressed and cautious about how I looked so the narrative of needing to perfectly play things from the shadows seemed more reasonable.

>>60802759
I didn't think anyone would believe that since I have a very visible mutation type Quirk, and my origin having never mentioned anything to that effect before, especially since I would only have the one "vision" that may or may not be accurate.

Does your jumper have any major mental issues? Depression? Schizophrenia? How do they cope? Do their companions know?

Is anyone making a jump for 4 cut hero?

If not, I'll take a shot at it.
>>
>>60802007
Is there any point in getting any of the True Magic perks in Fate Stay Jump if you already picked the Grand perk form Garden of Avalon?
>>
>>60802878
Depression, until second jump (Sword and Sorcery's Drop-In freebie, iirc) cleared that up, mostly.
He didn't realize it was due to a perk, and assumes it's because he met his waifu.

I've never heard of it. Go for it!

>>
>>60802904
Going to repost the question of what the greatest feats a Grand with only the 100 free circuits could perform would be.
>>
>>60802895
Yeah, I don’t like to be in my own head all that much.

Yeah, like I can write a character who is sad or is going through a small bout of depression, but someone who's chronically depressed? Nope best to just avoid that one all together.

The Culture.

>>
>>60802990
Is there a Culture jump? I haven't seen one
>>
>>60802878
I used to have my Jumpers suffer from all sorts of mental disorders and traumas. I found it just wasn't very fun after a while and it feels a lot better to be told "Good job" rather than languishing in a pit of misery after accidentally murdering a villain while believing all action is pointless. Know what I mean?
>>
>>60802904
I'm pretty sure that perk only offers magecraft, not True Magic.
>>
>>60802843
It's what happens when a True Ancestor with a 'You can eat anything' perk eats a bit of a rock but doesn't actually eat all of it.

>>60802862
Anon.

Rocks are an important part of a balanced diet.

Also, off of Gaia True Ancestors in their right mind wouldn't have any reasons to go all kill happy against humans or weak non-hostile aliens, and when they go Demon Lord they go full omnicidal and have to be put down by their kin. There's no reason for a 'If you go there they'll kill you' warning unless there was some faux pas in the past.

Unless your Jumper just kills people for the fun of it. Which is perfectly fine, your Jumper and all, but you shouldn't just assume everyone else will take the same route.

This is what culture warships tend to look like. Their cityships look more like flying fairy realms, they build small ringworlds that have superb aesthetics, most of their man-sized tech is either completely unnoticeable or sleek.

>>60802628
I dunno, turning a few hundred people into random animals with the snap of a finger? There's not much you can't do within a certain scale, which is probably about a big ass fortress. Probably a bit more if you were just aiming for wide spread destruction.

>>60802726

>>60802735
Not really that fucked. You won't be asked to get into the tournament and almost certainly won't change the results if you quietly train, so you're likely to just get revived safely even if you pick a universe that gets erased.

In the sense that some modern day magecrafts may have been True Magics back in the day, yes, but that doesn't really denote that they're going to be like the modern five. They're the ones still so unique and powerful that they remain True Magic even in the modern day after all.

>>
>>60802878
Well, lets see, my current Jumper has a handful of issues.

She enjoys physical fighting a bit too much for her own good. Not anywhere near as much as a Saiyan, but enough that it's caused her problems. She doesn't really cope, as much as rely on Brunestud (The Moon’s Shadow companion) to remind her to stay focused on whatever it was she was trying to actually accomplish.

There's her Vampiric Impulses, which where mostly an issue during and Jumps 3-5. It stopped being an issue around Jump 6 since Merlin-level magecraft can solve a lot of problem, and would've cleared out by Jump 13 since Crimson Moon, while possessing Vampiric Impulses, doesn't need to devote any power to controlling them. The original chose to eat people because he's implied to be a Dio-expy personality-wise. So when my Jumper became Crimson Moon, though given the canonical uncertainty of how much actually carries over from one incarnation of Crimson Moon to the next 'succeed' might be a more accurate term.

Empathizing with or caring about people outside her social circle isn't really something she does much. She certainly places a higher value on sapient life than non-sapient life and doesn't go around killing for laughs, but she completely lost her inherent aversion to killing in her first Jump. Given the types of worlds she visits, this has led to her defaulting to killing as a first solution to a lot of issues other people would at least consider talking over first. This causes...tensions with some of her companions.

Hey Val, correct me if I'm wrong, but Kumo Desu Ga and Oasis of Fantasy are next on your list of jumps to make, right? What's after those? More Legends jumps or a different IP? I think you claimed Guilty Gear, but I also think you dropped that along with Dark Empire. Which I'm still sad about.
>>
>>60803898
Wut
>>
>>60803913
Kumo is my current project, yeah. Oasis prooobably isn't after that, though I am working on filling it out, just because I wanna take my time to ensure I can balance the varying origins. I'm doing Re Zero for sure once Kumo is done though and then likely A Will Eternal or, if ready by then, Guilty Gear. I may or may not intersperse other Legends jumps through these, depending on how fast I get through them.

Sorry bout Dark Empire dude but as much as I looooove the various ships and technology there, the rest of it isn't interesting enough compared to my current roster.

Current Jumper used to get severe PTSD blackouts resulting in scores of fatalities whenever some scumbag reminded him of the things he was made to watch while in Pact's Abyss. It's alright, I can see what you mean. The plot is...a bit of a mess, to say the least.

>>60803974
Sure is. It's also the saga where the Emperor busts out not one, not two, but three super weapons, technically four if you count both Eclipses as different super weapons. The Eclipse is also the best thing to come out of it though, so I'm fine with it. It's also the story where Luke turns to the Dark Side to destroy the Emperor from within...despite the events of Return of the Jedi where Luke refused to turn to the Dark Side and saw just how terrible it was. I don't even know why Palpatine wanted Luke as an apprentice after that, I legitimately thought he was just trying to corrupt Luke in order to steal his body the first time I went through it.

>>
>>60804107
Vong War was definitely something new, I liked how they used biotech and other unique tricks to get the job done. I did find the New Republic's gullibility/stupidity frustrating though. I mean, really, even the leader of the New Republic at the time, who was super anti-Jedi, thought the idea of handing the Jedi over to the Vong was absolutely stupid. And yet, hand them over the Senate did...Abeloth was fun, though, especially since she wasn't a brilliant schemer like other villains and more a force of nature that occasionally came up with plans that worked for a bit until they didn't.

Holy Hexes from KonaSuba for magic spells, I Will Surpass God from Soul Eater for soul-based powers. Tyranids has one for connecting psychic powers to physical strength. There's Lovely Garden from Weakness of Beatrice, technically, depending on how high your level is, which works on spells and "powers" unlike Holy Hexes... But it'd probably take a shit-ton of upgrades depending on where you are. Though at least you'd probably gain lots of XP from foes at your level. Not a huge selection for stuff like that, though.
>>
>>60803810
So you're related to Arturia as some kind of anti-fate darkness dragon fairy magus. That, the existing family tree, and the addition of Sibling Rivalry drawback sounds like the family tree is twisting into Gordion knots made up of mobius loops.

>>
>>60804194
So, admittedly it was her fault on that one. She wanted to put a stop to the fighting between the Son and the Daughter, the embodiments of the Dark and Light side of the Force respectively. She felt that her family was breaking apart so she bathed in the two strongest force nexuses in the universe one from the Dark Side and one from the Light. This drove her insane and forced The Father, The Daughter, and The Son to go, "Oh fucking shit." They ran the fuck away and got some people to help them build a prison for her where they locked her in. She would cause forcequakes and have to be subdued every so often.

In fairness, Abeloth was technically at fault for it. The Son and Daughter were beginning to fight, and Abeloth (known as the Mother then) was growing older, too weak to stop them from fighting. In her desperation to save her family, she did what was forbidden to her and tapped into the sources of power that made the Son and Daughter what they were, becoming more powerful, practically a god...at the cost of her sanity. She brought both children to heel, and if I remember right was starting to brainwash them when the Father stopped her and imprisoned her.

So, while technically it was the Force that turned her into a monster, it was her own choice to go down that path, even if she had good reasons for it.

>>60804241
>embodiments of the Dark and Light side
They're actually not, as I recall, they're just really buff Force users with a connection to both sides. During the Mortis arc, the Father explicitly states that the Son fell to the Dark Side, which would empower the Sith, so he can't be the embodiment of it if he fell to it. Plus, since both the Son and Daughter died, and both sides of the Force existed after that, they couldn't have been embodiments of it.

Which version of the Arthurian mythos is closest to the Fate version? I'd like to do some extra reading to get a better idea of the events to follow.
Also, would it be possible to convince the Lady of the Lake to to grant you Excalibur and Avalon in jump if you ask before Arturia has any reason to? This is to serve the dual purpose of making sure that nothing halts Arturia's aging after Caliburn inevitably breaks and to give Jumper a really nice weapon he doesn't have to use his severely overdrawn budget to get (I started out at over 3000 cp and still haven't brought that down to something affordable. Send help.) If it helps any, jumper has that one perk that makes fairies love the shit out of him.

Aside from the events prior to the drawing of Caliburn/the sword in the stone, the stuff surrounding Vortigern, the Lancelot-Gwen situation and Mordred/the Battle of Camlann, almost any version of the myths should work to fill you in more on the setting and in between events. You'll just need to adjust the appearances and power levels of characters. Honestly even the cartoon one with the time travelling merlin isn't exaaactly inaccurate.

Just by asking? lord no. It'd be incredibly difficult to convince her, especially since she almost certainly is aware of Arturia's destiny/future. The fairy love perk would help but again, it's asking her to give up possibly two of the most valuable objects on the planet to a relative nobody instead of the destined saviour.

It's possible but very difficult.

This would make a 6 inch dick into a 667 meter or 1,200 foot long dick. Taking a giant form scales that up by approximately 17x.

No, no it doesn't. Especially since as Archetype Earth can pinball continents around. And that Types are supposed to be above divine spirits which should make them above Amaterasu and Saver.

>>
>>60805130
I did give a range anon. The feats we have include wrecking countries and continents, though the latter was cause of a Type dying.

>>60805179
Archetype Earth is being empowered by two types and has never pinballed continents around.

I highly, HIGHLY, doubt that any Type is stronger than Amaterasu, since that would mean that those Types would have to be millions of times stronger then the planets actually powering them.
>>
>>60805179
Archetype Earth is both proxy Type-Moon (there's a reason she's called Brunestud) and empowered by Gaia (essentially also being Type-Earth.)
>>
>>60805255
Power levels have never made any fucking sense in Nasu. So, a Type being stronger than Ameterasu despite making no sense seems plausible. Archetype Earth was going to reset the Earth to the way it was before humans were there. Like continents and all.

>>
>>60805293
I think if you have to excuse your reasoning with "Lol none of it makes sense anyway" then there's not really much weight to any argument you'll make.

So did Archetype Earth actually do this? Did she describe how she was going to do this? Did she say she'd fling them around like pinballs or is there a chance that she was vague about it and it may very well be a slower process that takes time once she's wiped out the humans?

I'm not excusing my reasoning I'm just saying that bringing common sense into it doesn't exactly work when other things are pretty nonsensical themselves. If it's stated that Ultimate Ones are greater than Divine Spirits then despite how little sense it makes then them's the rubs.
>>
>>60805354
Still kinda waiting to hear where all the details on her throwing continents like pinballs are from, especially with that other anon's point that reseting things before humanity doesn't at all change the continents.

>>60805368
As far as I'm aware, they do not say that she's the only one capable of beating her, but that she's the only one with even the tiniest chance of bringing her down to a level where she can be beaten which, given her special power that lets her divide the power of her foes, does make sense even with her not at full power. Weird concept bs yo. It's a very important difference to beating her herself.
>>
>>60805385
It wasn't even regular Arcueid. Arcueid is normally a planet class spirit, but because of her dumbfuck master she was weakened to the point where she became a divine spirit.
>>
>>60805412
And if it's also stated that the ultimate ones are powered by their planets, such as Arceuid as well, and that all the feats and other descriptions for Ultimate Ones place them at a far lower level?

I get that things are inconsistent but that in no way means you can pick the one interpretation you like and declare it correct in spite of all opposing evidence, including statements that oppose what you believe is true.
>>
>>60805426
>Weird concept bs yo
This is pretty much what things in the Nasuverse comes down to, a big ass game of rock-paper-scissors with different concepts, rather than throwing biggatons around for victory. Sure, a lot of things have biggatons, but they're usually defeated by sidestepping conceptually.

Pretty well, for the most part. While a few of them were stunned and confused when I explained my true nature (NiGHTS and Bass especially, since the former knew me as her brother while the latter 'knew for a fact' that I was a creation of Doctor Light), they adapted pretty quickly, all things considered. Knowing that I was from another dimension and that I was travelling through space and time hunting a cosmic horror didn't make them forget the bond we shared, even if that bond was one of rivalry in the case of Bass. I think the only one who wasn't surprised was Krus. To her, that kind of thing is pretty normal.

Most of them were still eager to come with, though Bass acted like a dick about it, only following at first to become stronger and get payback on the Light for brainwashing him. As for their families...Toriel was fine with it, but warned us both to be careful, NiGHTS' family was evil and also destroyed at that point, Bass' 'family' didn't give a shit, Mikotsu's sister was overjoyed for her sister finding somewhere to belong and to be happy (as well as for the chance to tease her sister after so long), and Krus' family, evil as they were, were happy to see her fulfil her dreams...as well as enraged these dreams involved being good. That's family for you, though, and Krus didn't seem to mind since Frisk and NiGHTS adopted her as their own child.

Neato. It would be nice if she backed that up, gave more detail or had reason to believe she had knowledge about this being but sure, we'll run with that.

Now let's go back to the bit where Arceuid is being powered by two planets. She's not a normal Type, for all the little we know about normal for them. It's certainly a long way from the possibly star level power Amaterasu is described as having and still not planet level like Beasts or Grands are shown to potentially have, even Kiara and Saver being of that level. Though, really all that's important for our argument is the first bit here, since we're, far as I can tell, arguing about how strong Types are normally.

So, a Type can't be as strong as Arceuid. We know this because most Types have one planet/world powering them, not two. Adding onto this, we know that Types at the very least change when off their worlds, if not get weaker, because Arceuids powers change and get stronger when she is on the earth or moon (When on the moon she makes her opponents weaker instead of scaling beyond them for instance and lacks both abilities when not on moon or earth). So not only can we say that Arceuid is not a good example of what a 'normal' Type can do, we can also say that the Types we do see in Notes (The ones with actual feats) may have had different or even less powers/power then when on their homeworld.

Even at the country to continent levels, they're still stronger than most Divine Spirits, though Amaterasu and sun gods are the exception because they're noted to be unique and insanely powerful. Amaterasu being equal to Velber who already trashed everyone on Earth anyway.

Seems so. Given the qualifier of 'no matter how small the chance might be', it still doesn't exactly fill me with confidence that Arceuid is meant to be able to beat her down in a 1v1 brawl, which is what she should be if she's meant to have higher power levels. It seems more like, as I said before, the weird abilities she gets on the moon let her reduce Ammy to a level where it's not absolutely impossible to win.

>>60805622
Sure.

>>60805712
Probably eventually.
>>
>>60805639
I don't think it needs something like that, but it's a pretty neat section in those Jumps that include it like Generic Zombie Apocalypse. Maybe you can do it by threat level or threat type since most creepypasta are otherwise in a modern world? Settings where twisted serial killers are the norm, settings where there's eldritch monsters in the background, settings with wolrdwide conspiracies, settings with spooky shit based on heaven and hell, or fae. That sort of thing?
>>
>>60805728
She did stop the Earth later in that game though. And if one of the youngest of the Six Sisters who were able to kill the weakest Type were able to destroy a continent when she died. It is not to much a stretch of the imagination that something like Type Jupiter could do just a tiny bit more than that.
>>
>>60805772
Or she was about to stop the Earth before there was an Arcueid interrupt.
>>
>>60804733
Is Book Willy Wonka more like Gene or Depp?
>>
>>60805772
Wasn't it all six sisters dying to kill the Type, which then exploded and destroyed the continent?

It was specifically Judge's dying scream that destroyed the continent.

Okay, thanks. To what extent does improvement/challenge for its own sake count? Stuff like achieving Enlightenment, climbing Mount Everest (or the mountains of Hell-whichever), becoming the holder of a World Record, etc. Stuff which is undeniably "great"... But not really, uh, "far reaching" I guess you could say?
>>
>>60805802
No, I'm not sure how you got that especially since I corrected myself the post afterward.
>>
>>60805801
Huh. I forgot about that.

Still, it's ALSO described that the death of an Aristoteles resulted in a continent being burned black, so it really feels more like the Six Sisters are crazy powerful than that the Types are stronger.
>>
>>60805787

Gene. Definitely Gene.
>>
>>60805810
Look, just try to do really impressive stuff with your life and it'll work. If it's not that impressive for what you are right now, it's not going to do much for you.
>>
>>60805744
Oh yeah. I'm not even saying Archetype Earth is necessarily as strong as Ammy. But it's still impressive since she's also badly weakened by the Moon Cell.
>>
>>60805825
Different guy but just wanted to point out find something impressive for Jumper is often a very very hard thing to do
>>
>>60805851
Eeeeeh. I personally would need a lot more detail to decide on it. It feels to me like it's very much relying on her weird weaken power and then saying "She's going to die like an ant a trillion times out of a trillion and one".

>>60805864
Indeed, it can be.
>>
>>60804733
>>60805814
Neato. Also how would you recommend that I deal with the OSHA? What’s OSHA? drawback?
>>
>>60805813
Could be don't know. Apparently Judge was killed by a knight. That is also potentially very true. The only thing that makes me think that an Aristoteles is stronger than just continent level is that it took 5 of the 6 sisters killing themselves to kill one of the weakest ones when one dying was enough to destroy an entire continent.

Also, does the perk spontaneously geberate teachers beyond the scope of the setting? Say our goal is to become best mage in the multiverse would we get magic teachers above us in Oremo for example
>>
So, I’ve decided to play match maker to Goblin Slayer. However who’s the best waifu for him? Someone he can open up with and stop being so autistic & robotic.

Cow Girl seems to be a good logical choice. They knew one another since childhood. He’s staying at their farm for a reason. He’s the most open with her with a lot of stuff.

Guild Girl is also really good for him. She understands his thought process a lot. She’s part of the guild so she would see him everyday and that would be one less person to worry about.

Priestess is young, but she’s learning a lot from him. They’re together most the time, and he really relies on her. Plus it would be good plot development for her character to be in a relationship with GS. She gets him to open up more often.

So /JC/ which waifu should he marry & eventually semi-retire from Gobbo Killin?
>>
ORT is stated to be equal to Primate Murder tho
>>
>>60805898
We don't know how strong Primate Murder is though.
>>
>>60805825
Well, improvement in and of itself can often be impressive, as shown in many myths and legends. I just wasn't sure if such goals as "improving beyond what's believed to be impossible" should count when the effects of the perk are improvement.
>>
>>60805890
A knight also killed a Type on their own. As for the 5 sisters dying, I believe the story says that it's actually confusing on what happens and they don't know how they all died, only that they did and the Type was destroyed.

It may have been that one was strong while the others were very weak, but either way it's not exactly a great way for us to judge knowing so little, as opposed to sticking with the more solid feats we do get more detail on.

>>60805894
It's possible, though it may be more likely that you find more focus on the breakthroughs you gain on your own.

>>60805898
In killing speed of humans, which Primate murder may or may not have large unnatural advantages towards and it's entirely possible that it is only compared because they could both do it in an instant.
>>
>>60805895
Priestess is the canon one.
>>
>>60805910
Improvement for the sake of it won't count. Improvement to reach a goal would. You can train at mountain climbing to be good enough to and eventually accomplish a really impressive climb. You can't do it to just be the best mountain climber without any intention of ever actually doing anything with that training.
>>
>>60805942
Really? Explain.
>>
>>60805870
I mean it doesn't say a trillion or even imply that sort of enormous difference. And really, if Amaterasu really is 5.38*10^32 times as strong as even God Arcueid or even Princess Arcueid, weakening her down to one sixth of her power is going to make no noticeable difference in the ensuing fight. At the very least, it speaks favorably to God Arcueid and literally every other character in those games besides Whiteface Killah.
>>
>>60805921
Yeah. For the description of the Six Sisters Notes says that the 5 were never found. While the story for Type Pluto says that they fought it and they killed each other at the same time.
>>
>>60805951
Okay, thanks for answering.

Well, it certainly implies the chance she has at winning is very, very small.

I hate to say it this late but given Amaterasu is described as equal to Velber, which has multiple times trashed everyone on Earth, it does lend me to believe that the Extra statement miiight not be that canon anymore.

Gonna be honest Extella ruins more shit than Grand/Order. Like nothing in Extella makes sense. If we take it as canon then Camelot was a bunch of cavemen.
>>
>>60805993
Nasu seems to change his mind constantly on this shit anyways. We'll just have to wait for the Tsukihime Remake that's never coming out. I vaguely recall Nasu has said he's planning on blowing up the scope from comfy urban rape fantasy to apocalyptic GO-esque shenanigans. Hopefully we'll have universe busting Arcueid Blanco by then.
>>
>>60805951
Does it work based on your general level, or based on your level for things relevant to your goal? Like, if you had Strength 100, Intelligence 10, and Charisma 2, would you still need to pull politics of a mythic level despite not having the relevant ability for it?
>>
>>60806042
I'd honestly love to be able to ignore more than a few parts of GO and Extella too but unfortunately, I can't really just make jumps for them and say "Nah, ignore this bit"

Just because they can both kill humans really fast doesn't mean anything for their power levels compared to each other. Once you get past a certain level of power, any attack is going to wipe out all human life.

>Archetype Earth is being empowered by two types and has never pinballed continents around.
I think it comes from something going around the wikis that claims that at some point Ciel alluded to Archetype: Earth being able to do that. But I've never seen a screenshot showing it, so I don't trust it.

That being said, that wouldn't be that odd given Archetype: Earth was going to casually cease the rotation of the planet to kill...pretty much everything other than Shiki, Ciel and co. And then kill herself to reset the planet to its pre-human state...though again, she was going to spare Shiki, Ciel, and co.That being said, that doesn't really reflect on Arcueid, given Archetype: Earth is Arcueid being simultaneously possessed by her Crimson Moon personality *and* Gaia/The Planet which gives her a massive boost to her Authority which she'd never have otherwise. Not necessarily a big physical boost.

Plus, Archetype: Earth is a fight junkie who seems to infinitely prefers beating and clawing people to death over actually using her godlike macro-scale Marble Phantasm. Which is why she ended up getting beaten up by normal Arcueid. Well, also kind of wanting Arcueid to win, but no one ever said Gaia was reasonable.

Now, to be fair, the First Gods/Personifications explicitly pulled the Mook Maneuver (i.e. They each went to fight the White Titan one at a time instead of ganging up on it) when they tried to resist.

On the other hand, Velber almost certainly wasn't investing all its resources to taking out Earth, given both it's slivers on Earth and the Moon were going to self-destruct after they were done.

I'm just saying that the White Titan Velber used as an autonomous attack drone didn't exactly take everything the Earth could throw at it and laugh it off. It took bits and pieces over time growing stronger with each battle. We don't know if the Personifications could've won if they actually fought together, but it wouldn't be that surprising to me given Nasu explicitly specified they fought one at a time.

I'm pretty sure you're just trying to get the Gauntlet killed. I mean it, if you happen to be a well wisher instead, seriously lots of folks in the thread take the Body Mod as nearly sacred. Nothing messes with it and you don't give any kind of viable option to not have it, or else your stuff will never get on the Drive. That's a thing, it's been asked after before and the general consciousness is that you can houserule on your own but you don't try anything else. This was reviewed like this or last month IIRC. Hit up the archives if you wanna read it, but I'm not sure if you're just trying to tank the Gauntlet.

Granted I'm probably just being paranoid because that kind of shitposting tactic would be inventive and most of our shitposters... aren't. Sorry if I'm coming off as overly suspicious, but I'm paranoid about this I guess.

>Wouldn't that be an argument for Action Hero Tough and not Plotanium Kevlar?

Depends on the movie. The perk Stone Bones in the gauntlet seems to already cover Action Hero Tough, where the protag can tank bullshit amounts of blunt impact, and any knife/bullet wounds that would eventually down/kill a normal person through blood loss and shock alone mysteriously fails to do so.

Plotanium Kevlar is when the knife/bullet doesn't do more than briefly stun/bruise, if it does even that. For example, John Wick's custom suit is made of Plotanium Kevlar (though at least they have the decency to not call it kevlar).

Actually, "Why Won't You Die" would make a good perk name.

They're spells seem to have longer than average cast times, when the cast times are already prohibitively long for most casters that aren't Sorceress, but they seem to be capable of spamming spells repeatedly into the fray. Like Goblin Slayer doesn't even try to wait out the caster in cover he goes for the kill because the Shaman just keeps casting in one scene during the prelude series. Granted they seem to have only a single spell that they spam, Lightning Bolt in the case of the Goblin Shaman in question IIRC.

Did they actually used nuclear weapons? Just remember they using missiles. And that seemed more their cheat shield rather than the actual destructive power than they can output.
Anyways, level 100s in Overlord can tank nukes just fine and spam them.

They launched all the nukes at japan. They were all intercepted and destroyed.
And no, they can't. Ainz uses his super duper extreme magic that has a huge windup time and it's barely a hyperbaric bomb. From what we've seen of their actions, they're slightly superhuman in terms of capabilities and mostly rely on their bullshit attack nullification. They'd get slaughtered if faced with a modern military, let along something that's leagues ahead of one, such as IS.

True, there is Baki but that one is ongoing, Tough is iffy at best but provides fun times, while Shamo is pretty dour. All rounder is too slice of life while I think Teppuu would be great for you.

https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6b2r7v

Since you made Katanagatari it seems that you also like historical fight mangas, Shura no Toki is also one of those that came before. If you want something obscure there is also Cynthia the Mission which is more murder-ey.
>>
>>60807698
Honestly, I think the biggest issue with trying to even parse what characters in Overlord can tank is quite simply this: It's not the weapon that determines whether they can tank the damage, it's the person wielding it. Which brings us to the simple fact: Real people don't have levels.
>>
>>60807742
I think the fact that shalltear got mind raped disproves that. Anything powerful enough to hurt Ainz and his crew will do so even if wielded by a weakling.
>>
>>60807698
>They were all intercepted and destroyed
That's not the same than tanking all those nukes
>And no, they can't. Ainz uses his super duper extreme magic that has a huge windup time and it's barely a hyperbaric bomb.
Fallen Down is not a nuke, it's just a pillar of light that deals extreme damage to undead (it can be either fire or holy). He uses a nuke (Nuclear Blast) in vol 13, and it destroys a portion of the city he is currently battling, and says that he had chosen to do so, he could have made it large enough to damage the entire city if he had widened the spell area to catch the hidden sniper.
>>
>>60807742
No, the weapon own level also counts. Ainz cannot be damaged by beings that are than level 60 or magical weapons that are lower than level 60. If you had that kind of weapon, even if you are weaker, you can damage him. Or have a weapon like Gazef's sword, that can bypass Yggdrassil's defenses.
>>60807757
I think that a Yggdrasil item that explicitly bypass defenses doesn't make the best example to gauge the level of an attack that Overlord's character can tank.
>>
>>60807781
We don't see normal humans running around with RPG's and tanks, so it's not like we have lots of examples of stuff that has the same destructive capability as modern weapons being used against Ainz.
>>
>>60807737
Baki unfortunately, has fucking hideous art. That Teppuu doesn't look bad.

Eh, Katanagatari was more because I love Nisio's works then historical stuff. I don't watch most historical stuff for Japanese anime/manga, think the last one I did see was Shigurui.
>>
>>60807742
It's a little wanky to claim that Overlord characters are immune to anything without levels. Unless you're trying to say almost nothing in jumpchain can hurt a overlord character, including an Outer fucking God.
>>
>>60807809
Well, Ainz said at some point that the minimum requirement to harm by physical strength alone is being able to blast castle walls.
>>
>>60807826
Pretty sure an RPG could do that
>>
>>60807826
So small arms are out, but cannons, rockets, and bombs are good?
>>
>>60807845
Yes. But he himself is immune to fire (with his standard equipment) and can make himself temporally immune to the blast damage from explosions (enough to tank his own tactical nuke per casting).
High level demons in the WN on the other hand were mentioned to be immune to all non-magical damage of a certain level (since they are not entirely physical). I don't know how that has carried to the LN.
>>
>>60807838
Not really. Fortress walls are meters thick stone protections from a bygone era. You'd need something bigger than the conventional RPG to blast straight through a four meter thick granite curtain wall. We do know that the android girl's gear is in the high seventies and it's laser weapons.
>>
>>60807826
Just entering this conversation, but is he talking about Mage Level 100s or Level 100s in general? Shouldn't Warrior Level 100s be way more durable?
>>
>>60807864
A defense spec'd tank like Albedo could just walk through the Nuke spell above and just keeps chugging along.
>>
>>60807873
Just to clarify I'm not saying they won't take damage just that they won't care about said damage. Their health pools and defenses would be unearthly, more like a living breathing war machine than an actual person.
>>
>>60807861
Yeah, just look at how impressive those walls are. Surely nothing modern can hurt them.
>>
>>60807586
If jumper jump DB Super can we teach others in other jumps how to use Ki and train them up to level of super ?
>>
>>60807864
I guess it would depend on the exact warrior, but yeah, they should be more durable. It also depends on the specific race and job's passive defense skills. The damage nullification is a skill of Ainz's race, other races and jobs have different skills. And just by stats alone you can tank a lot of things (for example, Evil Lord Wrath (level 84 warrior-type demon, ignored all the negative effects from the nuclear blast besides getting knocked by the blast itself just with his stats, and warriors like Brain (around level 28) are able to ignore weak poisons just by being higher level).
>>
>>60807817
I'm not saying they can't be hurt by things without levels, I'm saying that the lack of levels makes any discussion about "this can" and "this can't" a pointless endeavor - How do you rate "tank fire" against "sword wielded by a level 60" in terms of damage?
>>
>>60807886
Are you suggesting that is what I stated? Because my statement was you'd need better than an RPG to get through four meter granite curtain walls not that nothing modern could punch through them.
>>
>>60807737
Now you might say that All Rounder is too slice of life for her but I am firmly recommending it.

>>
>>60807903
>is too slice of life
Thats why its awesome and fills a nice niche in between all the fightan series,
>>
>>60807914
Overlord seems less impressive than modern weaponry then. Modern times have many, many things that can destroy castle walls and the 'nukes' these guys from Overlord have don't seem that impressive for just destroying these small fantasy cities, as compared to the immense destructive nuclear weapons we got in RL.
>>
>>60807886
>>60807838
I'm pretty most RPGs wouldn't be able to do that. You require constant bombardment to destroy fortifications. There is a reason old castles were still used even during the World Wars.
>>

I mean the one time we saw Ainz throw a fit his punches and kicks were throwing up loads of dust and wind along with ripping up the ground. We haven't seen them fight anything big and threatening (but large bosses were just mentioned to be big bullet sponges with no real challenge), and likely they never will. And most of the destructive feats come from weaker spells cast by mages but with high areas of effect. At some point they just start getting more bullshit hax abilities, like the illusionist's ability to fool the world, Ainz's kill anything skill, Shalltear's time rewind regeneration, that warrior attack that ignores defenses by cutting through dimensions, etc.
For example, the spell used to destroy a castle in one cast (Meteor Strike) was of lower tier than the one that could destroy a city.
>>

I'm pretty sure each word has a definition in the English language, barring names.

>What does ripping up the ground mean when you're not giving any details on how much ground he's ripping up?
Okay so in Season 1 Episode 11 at around 9 Minutes in Aniz throws a temper tantrum which amounts to just kicking the ground and shouting. He completely obscures his 7-10 foot tall self in a cloud of kicked up dirt and rips up thrity plus feet of topsoil and rooted grass from the earth. This is just his, as noted, sub-par strength stat doing the work. A warrior would have higher stats in this area, even one half his level.

Try to do it with Patreon and see if it works. You'd be surprised what people get done with Patreon.

Yeah but that was the thing I was just talking bout the sheer scale of strength that they'd have. Sorry for the misstep on my part. I thought we were talking about where that kind of damage lies within the realm of comparison. Not just talking about nukes and nothing but nukes.

Ah because I took each question one at a time. Okay then.

Probably. I do the same thing though.

No. That's why he has maids.
>>
>>60808359
As a Japanese man from a Post-Appoc distopia run by megacorps who eats out of a liquid food bag most of the time. I highly doubt he has that skill.
>>
>>60808367
Maids can't cook either.

Am I free to post this in the WIP section? All I have left to do are the scenarios and the finishing edits?

Verbal tic of Caesar Nero from Fate/Extra, Extella and Grand Order.

That would be Nobu.

UMU
>>
>>60809142
It mean "yeah", "indeed", "mhm" or "I see". Nero tends to say it as a speech quirk
>>
>>60809142
Here you go:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8y1GILBUcc

It's just a verbal tic from Fate's Nero. She seems to use it as an emotive declaration, or moments where it doesn't really matter what she's saying so much as how she says it. You could think of it like her saying "Yeah!" "Yeah." "Yeah..." or something similar.
It doesn't mean anything on its own. It's just a sound Nero makes. If you companion her, expect to hear it a lot.

Also be warned if you companion Nero and christmas comes around. On one hand she gives extravagant gifts on the other hand prepare for XE rated singing ability

Question, how would we stack up to Merlin if we had Incubus, Grand and Magic Gunner from Tsukihime (aka 10000% efficiency)
>>
>>60809614
Are people actually stupid or are they too used to being hand fed? Grand and Incubus makes you equal to merlin, what the fuck do you think adding the perk that gives you a clear number on how much better than before you are?

Fucking think sometime
>>
>>60809629
To be fair Merlin has a lot of other advantages we don't have. Namely allies, better access to resources, and more combat experience
>>
>>60809629
Agreed.
>>
>>60809629
Why on earth would they read, speculate and (heaven forbid) actually think for themselves when the jumpmakers loom around the thread constantly.and can avert all of the effort. Doesn't help that asking them gets you an official answer.
>>
>>60809667
>>60809650
I think that as nice as it is to have someone that answers almost every question, Val is too generous with some people. These idiots have asked almost every variation of "What level would I be with Grand and X perk?" that exists by now
