Wanting character art of classical era characters, so as much Roman, Hellenic, Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, etc. Type stuff as you can must please!

All races welcome - I’m especially on the lookout for Babylonian style dwarf / chaos dwarf stuff as I love that flavour.

Gnolls, gobbos, orcs, rhino people and other monster races also desired.

Thanks in advance.

Ironically the game's the second Warriors spin-off to get an M ranking. (After Fist of the North Star), mainly because it's got blood.

I came up with a race of rhino-humanoids who’re separated into clans, the females are sacred and migrate from the homelands (after mating) to the “sacred pools” where they give birth and raise the calfs, then bring the male juveniles back to their fathers to be raised among their clan-mates

Music for it is real good. Never played it though.
I thought they did a neat thing with the aesthetics where the Greeks all wear archaic or classical stuff and the Trojans look far more Mycenaean, down to even boar-tusk helmets.

Romans caused the dissolution of classical antiquity and only existed in the last 5-6 centuries of the era.
>>

That sound cool. I suppose the clans have a unspoken rule that the sacred pools are a "no war allowed" zone and that anyone dumb enough to try to take control of it would be ganged upon like never ?

>>62429198

Didn't their dynasty marry with Persians? We know Cleopatra and her brother are supposed to claim descendancy from that union. So yeah they were kinda brown (Greeks themselves were kinda swarthy, I doubt most of the ship posters on here would consider than 'white') though Probly not to the extent of the Egyptian in North African locals, and likely had different facial phenotypes.

I really enjoyed it for a lot of those reasons. And that it used more archaic pronunciations.

I even grabbed that ps streaming thing for the PC just to play it with the free trial.
In part so I could complete it and grab all the concept art I could, since the internet only seems to have the main characters and Helen, and not any of the regular soldiers or location art.
>>
classical look so shiny while medieval look so drab
>>
>>62433225

Middle ages weren't drab, its Mostly the fault of Hollywood and the victorians try8ng to typecadt it as the 'Dung Ages'.

They loved color. They had very colorful clothing even cheap dyes could be afforded by people in the lower strata and surcoats banners everything was very colorful. Castles were actually whitewashed and were considered very beautiful, pristine. Even colored tiling existed.

You only think the middle ages looks drab and dull because you've been fed this Call of Duty brown and bloom version of it by idiots with no historical knowledge just memes.
>>
medieval look gaudy classical blends color perfectly
>>
>>62433489

Not really, you have plenty of countries with a very good use of color theory in their heraldry and coat of arms, like English, Franks, etc.
