We talk about Monstergirls and build a setting for them. Though we can all post pics and images and art of Monster Girl Encyclopedia monster girls and talk about them. But bear in mind this is not KCs MGE canon to the letter. Seriously lads a lot of people have their ideas and they aren't all the same, we can all agree to disagree. Just remember to have fun.

With a combination of both the Halloween period and the translation of necromancy spells from the World Guide III, I decided to add and finish an expanded Lore of Necromancy. It's largely combining both the Lore of Necromancy and Lore of Nagash into two spell lists, adding a few spells to round out the third spell list and changing the Control Undead spell to a Call Ghost spell.

The Arcane Marks for the Lore of Water still aren't finished however.

Late reposting
>Setting's tech level is some where around XIV and XV century
>The Order is the major human faction, it's mainland is split into a northern Slavic/gothic styled region, and a southern classical/Southern European styled region, where the Order has its capital
>To the far north is where the demon Lord has her base, so far it's a blank blot on the map marked with HERE BE DEMONS
>Misceus, a neighboring monster coexistence state is trying to rebuild it's fallen empire
>The sea of Knights is the dark edge on the sea with the sunken city of the dead, ghost ships, goth mermaids, and on the edge of it is the deep layer of chaos cultists sea witches
>The southern sea separates the Order mainland from the desert continent, the land of exotic pelts filled with Brown monstergirls lies on the western coastline
>The southern coast includes rival merchant state factions, a pirate city based out of a shipwreck island, and a series of Amazon tropical islands.
>There's an island chain of wyvern riders, think of it something similar to Erlic's Melnibone, location yet to be discussed, proposed name was Draconia
>A Fairy Realm is under protection of an Order Realm, that is, when they're not ebroiled in their own internal power struggles, or is this realm protected by the fairies?
>Desert Continent has Arabian Nights city-states, nomadic sand elves, Pharaonic ruins whose inhabitants are trying to rebuild their fallen empire and Apophis ruled states.
>The Great North is a subcontinent of Scandinavian/Northern European styled states, with Viking monstergirls and and emerging merchant guild
>Somewhere in between the frozen north and the mainland there are some Duchies/Principates ruled by Matriarchal Vampires, running a Bene Gesserit program to breed the ultimate hero (for their nefarious purposes), Umacta being their center of operations
>>
>>62866438
>Zipangu and the Lands of Mist in the eastern sea are embroiled in their own internal struggles, will they be easy pickings for the monsters?
>Ruins dot the land, what wonders (and dangers) they may hide, cyclopean ruins or arcane forgotten knowledge?
>Undercities, whether these are populated by Dwarves, Bugs or other is yet to be discussed
>An Order Realm with French Chivalry for it's theme, houses haughty Elves
>there was talk of Cuman/Mongolian Centaurs, I would also pitch in a Spaniard vs Moorish Human realms with Centaurs outlying the Gothic Human Order portion of the map, totally not ripping the HRE
>Dwarves and Cyclops have given humans the gifst of steel and gunpowder (and beer), but remain mostly cooped up minding their own business, but for how long?
>Mechant Republics are a thing, but aside "they're there" not much was talked about them, though I do remember a mention of a Dragon being their dynastic accountant and head being the dirty secret of one ruling family, I found that entertaining
>the ancient cities of the Pharaohs, are they open and welcoming to foreigners and thrive with the caravans that come and go with their spices? or do only the adventurous and foolhardy dare explore their secrets?
>Fairy, Demon and Heavenly realms, how the bonkers do they functions
>On the southern extremes of the Desert Continent lie the Opal Kingdoms, home to unique treasures, bewildering spirits, and strange creatures.
>Masked Mantids, Centaur, Weresheep, Harpy and Arachne nomads out in the open plains and steppes, are there other dangers hiding in the seemingly endless sea of green?
>Heralds and servants of ancient, forgotten beings that lay asleep deep within the dark recesses of the world are re-emerging, some affected by the influence of the Demon Lord's world altering spell, though, are others mimicking their changed bretheren merely pretending, waiting for when the stars were right to plunge the world back into darkness?

>and previously proposed/mentioned ideas
Attention to detail focusing about the geography of these regions, culture and in-general fleshing them out
Talk about theories of divergent evolution, whether this is due to corruption, natural, or magical reasons is up to debate and interpretation.
Also, last thread there was talk about: arabian nights themed automatons, colleges are a thing, and "barbaric" or simple minded beings keeping abyssals at bay.
Bugs, ravaging conquerors or laborious builders, can they manage to subsist on their own? or will they forge aliances and relations with the kingdoms of men?
The Sabbath, is it worth saving the world at the price of lolidom?
There was talk about giant herders and Ice giant nomads.
And most recently
The moon(s?), how does it affect monsters? and also yearly invasions by moon wererabbits.
Undeath, a side dish of corruption, or something entirely different? If not worse?
And Tengu, warring masterminds? devious spymasters? underhanded rogues? all of the aforementioned?
Lamias and snakekind, an accursed race punished by ancient crimes? Or messengers of portent and magic?
Also, rumours of the mythical fountain of youth have begun to spread, is there some truth to the tales of Axolotl lizardwomen priests guarding this secret?

Also, by Lustria and reading from previous thread, you're making them sound like they're some form of priests-like leaders instead of the Slann, correct?

I really have no idea how to represent Level Drain. In the previous age, I would make it a expensive Lesser Magic spell exclusive to Succubi that is used to steal Experience Points from men that they rape but with the way it is now, it's quite overpowered. Maybe make it grant temporary Exp for the partners that cannot be spent on new skills or for career changes?
>>62876896
Male dwarves are almost entirely Chaos Dwarves under the dominion of Hashut or a small but significant minority in the Empire. Male elves still have their own societies, most prominently in the enchanted forest of Athel Loren but also in various places throughout the old world.

I'm not sure if this fits here, but I just wanted to share this brief headcanon I have on Goblins: As a race, thei origin myth says they were forged straight out of the planet's core by the god of Smithing, and their purpose is to act as ane xtension of his will, bending metal with flame in the eternal search of beauty, in craftmanship. Beyond the myth, they are a bunch of gobbos with a keen eye for minerals and naturaly talented in forging. They are adept at handling fire, and their temper is... actually not fiery at all. Patience is required for proper smithing, and these creatures have gotten used to long spells of silence, letting the sound of hammers striking metal do the talking for them.
Their skeletons are notably as hard as Iron, and they have taken to riveting metal to their bodies for fasion. The females in particular favor their jaws for this purpose.
>>
>>62886088
sounds kinda weird but also interesting, like, they're über dwarves
>>62885781

Yeah, I get this idea is pretty redundant with dwarves. The would also dabble in crafts where the use of fire and heat is a boon, like alchemy, cooking and glassblowing.

Theis attire is usually chosen for ventilation and durability. Materials that can withstand heat are of course preffered, and they do show plenty skin for the dual purpose of showing off their metal grafts and staying as cool as possible while at work.
>>
>>62886243
no, not redundant, just saying it's a weird turn, but also, they kinda sound like the Gobbos in Ravnica

>but are these just nobles or does it include church prince bishops?
Actually, they get two rolls, just waiting to see of anyone's against the idea, probably will wait for another hour, if there's no nay saying, I'll begin the rolls
>>62886088
>>62886243
They're actually pretty cool anon, but, is the rivetting merely cosmetic or does it have some religious significance?
And, does it also denote goblin status in society?
>>
>>62885781
I'd vote Order as well just to get a bit more structure to it.
>>
>>62886575
I considered it cosmetic, but the quality and intricacy of the piece riveted to a body can be indicative of a gobbo's station in life. In actuality, the most respected members of their society are the forge masters, of which there is usually one per forge (with a city having an average of four forges, usually one of them devoted to glass and tools for the other crafts) Which actually don't care much for grafting ornaments to their bodies, since they have better things to do than show off their vanity.

If theres one thing these goblins venerate close to a deity, its the concept of beauty. Problem is not two goblins seem to agree what's beautyful. Some may thin its the perfect blade, so think you can cut moonlight with it, others think it is in the perfect recreation of the worl trough metal/glass, making statues and figurines of lifelike proportions. Some may think you just need the biggest explosion ever to behold true beauty. At least, they all seem to think beauty can be achieved trough crafting, and maybe if they devote themselves to it, one day they will get to catch a glimpse of it.

>There are fields of expertise related to the traits of a species. For example, there are many Arachne sewing and running a boutique, Harpies working as delivery service, or Giant Ants doing construction work and working as civil engineers. There are many factors, like physical strength or finger skill of a race, as well as individual differences. There are also many helping out with their husbands work.

That last sentence has so many amusing possibilities if the monster has no idea how to help with her husband's job or is just really bad at it due to her anatomy or personality.

For instance, never involve a hellhound in customer service work. She'll have destroyed the booth and possibly the store by the end of the day in a fit of rage.

I like to imagine the MGE World to be huge, multiple times bigger than Earth.
Another thing I like to do is come up with cities and countries there that would be great to visit:
>Highly civilized magitech city where new technologies are constantly being developed by men and monsters alike
>Small island country that got fully corrupted by chaos species that is surprisingly comfy once you get used to the lack of sanity
>Remote cow village where having the largest chest means everything, the entire lives of the residents revolves around breasts

>Well we got the vampire one slated already.
Is Umacta part of the Order Realms? I thought it was independent, tho it could work since the vampires are still hiding.
>Shall we toss you suggestions as we think of them or do you want lists?
Either are fine
>>62888227
You're right, why not?
>Maybe a reign of terror-esque France.
How/Why would it happen?
Is it a religious uprising?
Just a peasant revolt?
>>62887817
This gives some ideas, Bees or Werebears handling honey, Minotaurs and Weresheep tilling the land (I know it's a thing already), but, who are the cobblers, the smiths, the barbers, the ratcatchers?
>>
>>62888291
Adding more:

I kind of imagine it being 1.3 or 1.6 times bigger than earth, something like that anyway. Wonderland being a different dimension along with cat kingdoms being a similar thing already frees up a lot of space.
Then there's also other things that make things interesting such as:
>underwater kingdoms that wouldn't be possible on earth
>monsters living in extreme heat or cold that would kill any human settlement on earth
>stronger mages being able to create their own pocket dimensions in addition to existing ones (The Shirokuto Sabbath relocated an entire village for example)
>There's an unexplored possibility for floating islands adding more liveable space for flying races or even ones that can't fly who were just born there
>Underground colonies from races like ants are probably plentiful as they're a common race
Even with just a little extra space the world would be massive.
>>
>>62887920
They can pull an entire medieval-style ship underwater. Maybe something as big as a proper galleon. That's all they've been shown interacting with, really. A carrier is far beyond that, and probably even less pleasant to the touch - never mind the weapons or the very bad things that happen if you damage something powered by a nuclear reactor badly enough.

Then I guess get three, five or more Krakens to help keep the Nimitz Class Carrier immobilized. Also there's the Charybdis monster girl that also exist.

A Charybdis Mamono can just create whirlpools that will give whatever heavily armed military escort warships that are accompanying said Carrier, or ANY modern day ship a bad time.

By all means, MGE aquatic Monstergirls can take on a modern day navy Carrier and it's escort ships with some coordinated karken maneuvers and whirlpools made by Charybdis Mamono.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_mammals_and_sonar
A Ryu could sink a carrier with weather manipulation, but purely aquatic monstergirls would probably suffer internal injuries just getting close to it.
>>
>>62889434
>You have to remember to that depth charges are a thing
Forget depth charges, sonar itself is actually lethal. Seriously, whenever a ship activates its sonar its basically an instant death radius for any fish, dolphin, shark, whale, or underwater humanoid who is too close.
>>
>>62864166
Roughly about as well as they do on Ravnica. Probably better, if there aren't enormous wurms and dragons actively destroying architecture.

>>62889478
>>62889595
Not that guy, but never thinks the sonar-harming-creatures thing ain't gonna last or work in the long run because magic *snort* *snort*

I mean let's not remember that MGE Mamono have actively defied certain laws of time, space, and physics and spitting at said laws of time, space and physics in the face. All for the sake making habitats, environments and whole entire biomes habitable, harmless and sexy for men and monstergirl to enjoy. Let us remember that in MGE, an entire land rendered inhospitable and infertile quickly becomes habitable, fertile and lush and vibrant with life again thanks the help of Elemental Girls. (Look up Elemental girls, Saphritte Spherica and Polove in the monstergirl wiki)

And let us ALSO remember that Poseidon, the Goddess of the Sea/Oceans in MGE is pro-Demon Lord, pro-monstergirl and pro-corruption. So for all we know Poseidonette will just grant some magical blessing and immunity against the harmful effects of sonar towards Sea creatures. And not only that, MGE-Poseidon would might as well even just create a storm to damage said aircraft carrier being talked about in being attacked by sea Monstergirls. Again MGE-Poseidon is very much Pro-Demon Lord and pro-monstergirl and would likely help out by making a storm that would damage the aircraft carrier, what ever escort ships that's around. Not to kill or harm any of the sailors and naval personnel, just a storm that's JUST enough to cripple the fleet, immobilizing it and disabling some defensive capabilities. Then comes the Sea monstergirls to do what's necessary to capture the men and likely claim the spiilsy of War that is a recently acquired aircraft carrier and some of it's accompanying escort warships.

Lastly, MGE Mamono have already been known to treat crusades from any HFY humans and the Order as speed dating rituals. Same for the aircraft carrier and it's escort fleet targeted by MGE Sea monstergirls as; "Ufufu they're playing hard to get."

Could be, but on the other hand, this IS the Order's heartlands, so for it to not get besieged by paladins, I'm thinking it shoul at least be on the fringes, or have a port, or, the revolt could be a populist or religious one this could be the Red Order's time to shine is what I'm trying to say.

Monster girls are superior to human girls.
Cute boys (and human men in general) belong to monster girls. And evil girls are weak to anal.

Not exactly a made character, but more of a concept, since there's only one Archbishop whose vote counts, and northern Order realms are nearer to DL lands (I think, they're somewhere north, right?), they could be a Generalissimo, probably gran master of the tithes recieved there, answering to the Pope, butting heads with the Emperor or Dukes/Counts electors over who's directing things in their lands.

Red Order are the type of people willing to murder innocent children who're suspected of "corruption", are terrorists, heretics who taint the name of the Order and the Chief God. No. That kind of "sacrifice" is fairly common and common knowledge to both humans and monsters and earns you no respect from either as the actual motives are quite clear and is generally the territory of turncloaks that let monsters pass the gates during raids or a common way for the monsters to get husbands that will be bottom-tier for just lying down and taking it so to speak rather than make them work for their meal.
