You see a preview of it before you take it right?

Step back until its in proper focus, most cameras give warning when its not in focus, you're too friggin close.

Don't try to zoom in if you got the camera shoved in its face either.

Also are you filter anon, because all your pics of "Muh Customisimo" or whatever the abomination's name is has some weird ass filter in them

Is the original BW Tripreadacus an OK toy? His components look like fun (though Ramhorn looks a bit awkward) but is the combined mode passable? It certainly looks cool and appeals to me with its biomechanical asymmetrical monstrousness.
>>
>>6245206
Gnaw doesn't seem to be selling as well as Bee since he's virtually unknown to kids, looks different from a standard transformer, and older fans aren't army building as much since the robot mode is very flawed.

My Walmart keeps running out of Kickbacks, and Bee's but Gnaw just keeps warming the pegs.
>>
>>6245225
That's not the from price. It's the unit price. If you shop for hardware or food it would make more sense to you.
>>
>>6245234
Damn that's just a sign that the generation gap is that old now. A decade ago there be a pile of twenty something's buying him up.
>>
>>6245230
He's pretty good. Arms are weird but they work as abomination limbs
>>
>>6245230
Sea Clamp is top tier, just careful with his feet, both pieces pop off super easy

Cicadacon is cool, i love his swords, but his fatass torso hampers him a bit

Ramhorn is a fugly little shit and a weird mess of folding a swivvling pieces. Hes absolutely the worst and brings the set down a bit, but the combined form is really cool and worth picking up if youre into BW
>>
>>6245250
And Ramhorn's problems would be mostly solved by bigger heels.

I get why you think that but it isn't the case. Hitting Walmarts as I make my way to my out of state office so I'll help out with a pic. Most items in US stores offer what you are paying either per unit, or ounce. In cases of toys and electronics this is rather redundant because they don't break it down to what's in the package, the whole thing is just one unit. This is likely because these are luxury items and most people won't be needing a cost analyst.

So in TR which molds haven't been recycled yet?

I haven't see anything done with voyager galvatron unless his parts were shared with another voyager somewhere down the line that I haven't seen...oh and weirdwolf and mindwipe but takara has done something with mindwipe so I guess he's been used.

We still have waves 5 (I assume octone and blitzwing) and 6 (unless those 2 are split), but anyone else that hasn't been recycled in some form?
>>
>>6245257
>Sharkticons

>>
>>6245322
>So in TR which molds haven't been recycled yet?

Galvatron, Weirdwolf, Wheelie I guess. Mindwipe unless you count that Takara exclusive.
>>
>>6245328
As an owner of 2 I can understand the problems.

>shit tier robot mode
>limited poseability in both modes
>kinda fiddly to transform
>clear plastic holding tabs that hold the head together
>only decent looking mode is the shark mode

He's basically meme tier, you grew up with the movie, you know it, and it forever stays in the one mode, only thing I don't see anons spout about is the head splitting mimics how one got smashed in half during the movie which is a vicious touch.

So to answer your question:Earth

(I'm jut waiting for takara's one so my duo has a squad leader)
>>

I like how the BBTS listing for Legends Trypticon assures the Hasbrahs that a Poor Edition will also be released for them. Why bother, though, when they're just going to wait for Ross to get them 70% off?
>>
>>6245322
Kickback, Gnaw, Brawn(Some say he will share parts with Seaspray)

Hotrod, Kup, Perceptor

Galvatron

Quite a few TM vehicles haven't be recycled, discounting the Takara repaints.

So, comics galvatron, (unless someone is crazy enough to use arcee the tranny terror as inspiration) or omega supreme/spreem with some minor retooling, cybertron snarl, ROTF dead end or someone similar in alt mode, or possibly retool into a new micromaster like that delorean bot?
>>
>>6245350

Funny you say that because the Hasbro FortMax was objectively the best version, since it didn't have any problems of the clear plastic shit of the SDCC and unlike the Takara, you could fanmode it's city mode because those stupid fucks at Takara glued his fucking legs shut, leaving you with the default, shitty modes.

I'm guessing for Singapore, it's going to be something like the CW/UW Devastator situation.
>CW retails for a Hasbro-mark-up price of SGD300
>Often discounted 20% to 240
>Specialty shops start listing preorders for the UW for 295
>Some shops go as low as 270
>Stocks arrive, dealers that don't want to hoard fat toys aim for quick turnarounds
>Drop as low as 250 for walk-ins
>>
>>6245365
It's a pretty lame city mode so I don't see it as a deal-breaker. Point is, I hope online shops don't order a lot of Trypticons because they'll be stuck with them for a long time.

>>
>>6245234
I wouldn't say the robot mode is "very" flawed. Sure the elbows look awkward, but the basic articulation is there. Compare him to Powerglide (only hinges in elbows), Bombshell (no head articulation), Warpath and Seekers (only hinges in legs), I'd say Gnaw's robot mode could've been a lot worse.
>>
>>6245333
I'm happy to see the community is understanding his flaws. I remember when he was first showing up that claiming he even had an issue would lead to a TF form level shit storm.
>>
>>6245491
It's not he is the worse out there but the flaws stand out, my biggest grip is how bad he looks from a side or back view. If you don't face looking at him dead center he just looks off. But like most here are saying people got him for shark mode not robot. He could have been a lot worse, but he could have been a lot better too.

Ok got around to fiddling with him and he has a lot of paint. the plastic feels solid, and the joints are all tight.

My complaint is that since this is a mass produced product he has some paint that is already rubbing off from the box and his Maximal symbol is kinda off center. I'm glad that I only got mine for $50 shipped since my buddy covers the shipping for me since I do him a favor by letting him ship his shipment of toys to my house. Will I recommend it? Yes, but don't pay over retail. Also it's a pretty nice Japan exclusive.
>>
>>6245528
Burgerland here. What would he cost with shipping there? Assuming it's a Jap store front and you take standard that's about his going price atm. Now if you go through a US store then yeah he jumps to something closer to 60/70
>>
>>6245528
Is the Alpha Trion mold any good? Might be able to pick him up for 10-20 Canada ducks
>>
>>6245537
It's not horrible. Notable for the fact that they used up so much of their paint budget on him that the rest of the TR line had to use stickers.
>>
>>6245531
He ordered it from Ami Ami without telling me actually. I mentioned it to him and he goes 5 minutes later "I ordered it for you." He had it shipped with his order though and used SAL for it so I'm guessing it was probably like $15~20 Canadian.

>>6245537
This is my first run in with the mold, I saw the regular Trion in Walmart but since the Takara was coming in I said to pass off him for now. You're lucky if you can get it for $10~20 since you know they cost like $30+ tax here.
>>
>>6245537
Got him as a Christmas gift last year. If you have no investment in the character I can't recommend it. The lion mode was a clear after thought, bot mode is a chunky mess with hindrances everywhere and just has little that is aesthetically pleasing about the bot mode. Shipmode is fun but it doesn't make up for the mountain of flaws he has. And this is coming from someone who is a huge fan of the character.

I just want a swooshable aircraft carrier-esque ship to go with Sentinel, I'm buying Perceptor/Bee/Gnaw to go with my legends and that's probably it. Deluxes and up are expensive and Broadside doesn't seem worth it
>>
>>6245540
>Notable for the fact that they used up so much of their paint budget on him

I think they actually used more on Brainstorm than they did Trion. A bunch of shit that should not be painted on Brainstorm, is. You'd think he was a Takara release they slathered so much on him.
>>
>>6245554
>Broadside doesn't seem worth it

Broadside you can fanmode into a better looking jet, and his aircraft carrier mode is nice if you can get over the fact it has stickers on it.

I never liked how in the sequels they made the TFs more buttery. Like Sentinel gently taps Megatron on the head and casually rips out half his skull.

It seemed like the first one they were pretty damn invincible, no one really started getting fucked up until they began building up to the battles in the city at the end and everyone was playing for keeps.

I had this same complain with the Ironman movies as well.

If you could somehow paint match you could fix it. But otherwise, it'll have to serve as a lesson to not let children touch expensive things, and to teach them not touch things without permission.

a copper/gold colored paint pen might be able to hide it.

Eh it's pretty alright.

It used to get trashed because of how simplified and kiddy the toys are compared to the lines that "competed" with it at the time, but really aren't that far off from CW/TR, engineering complexity-wise.

It had some pretty good designs too.

At least here on /toy/ someone will call you a fuckstick if you're being a fuckstick, and you can get actual opinions on things. Have to deal with the occasional troll shitpost is better than having to sift through an entire community of fucksticks.

I still post there on occasion, but for the most part it was finding /toy/ and its freedom to be frank about things. TFW festers because it's home to dozens of raging idiots and assholes who are just smart enough to ride out their infraction expirations, and if anyone has the balls to butt heads with one of them over it they're both getting infracted. Movie years are especially bad because it brings that type of person in in droves, with an extra helping of autism because they're people who spend a year of their free time speculating about a Michael Bay movie of all things and nothing else.

I'm not saying /tfg/ is the healthiest place for discussion(it catches a lot of board runoff and the people who weren't smart enough to play the ban system), but if someone like Starscream Gaga or Hazekiah shows up and acts like a complete fuckhead, they'll get called out for it instead of being left to metastasize.

Instant return. How's the megatron mold? I was thinking of picking that up too, but I want it in Blitzwing colors. Also thinking about picking up a Twinferno, but I'm not sure about the articulation.
>>
>>6246199
I signed up in the year 2000. It was cool back then. Car Robots was coming out, Choppaface had highdef pics of Japanese exclusive stuff, a guy found a bunch of Primal Primes on clearance and people from around the world paid him to buy one for them. It was a nice small community. When the maximum users online hit 100, we were amazed. You could post whatever you wanted really, I was 15 and enjoyed asking these older Transformers fans about sex and stuff, only to realize later just how creepy it was. I still have my account. Starscream. No added numbers or anything. Purely 'Starscream'. I reckon some autist would pay me for access to the name. I haven't used it in years.
>>
>>6246381
I don't think Twinferno is significantly worse than the other beastformers of TR. They all have issues.

Wolfwire technically has a ton of articulation in beast mold, but all of his ball joints may as well be swivels, and his leg armor kibble is hindersome as fuck. The wolf head is also extremely limited.

Hell, Sky Lynx's "cat" fan-mode has better functional articulation than any TR beasts.

Twinferno is far from perfect, but if you were okay with buying Wolfwire/Mindwipe/Skullcruncher/Alpha Trion, then you might as well get Twinferno.
>>
>>6246385
weirdwolf cockpit suffer from stress easily
skullcruncher has soft rubber cockpit and a supremely hollow tail. great beast mode head articulation though
don't own a mindwipe
both of a3 altmodes look shit, but bot mode is pretty boss
twinferno dragon heads have limited articulation, although he has interesting transformation scheme especially for the feet
>>
>>6246388
Mindwipe is solid, his immediately issue are loose, but tightenable joints.

His biggest problem is the overuse of rubber on his wings. Nothing integral is rubber but they're covered in rubber details that will no doubt disintegrate into mush someday.

There is no such a thing like a stable 30+ yo Transformers fan. They've been in this shitpile for as long as the franchise existed and most of them are just getting more and more buttblasted every year that the franchise refuses to return full force to G1.

It used to be ok back in like 2002 when Armada was one and DreamWave started and all of them were like "ok soon we'll have G1 back completely, it's just around the corner, soon all will be good again" but that never happened. So they got more bitter and more angry and they just keep getting more bitter and more angry with every new show, every new cartoon, every new movie, every new ANYTHING that even remotely deviates from what they perceive as G1.

It's really bizarre why some of them ever are in thi franchise anymore.

Movie forum in tfw2005 is my favourite part of the internet right now because it's full on fuck fucking autist that are LEGIT convinced that this movie will have LORE and CONTINUITY.

I fully expect a complete mental meltdown when the movie ends up ignoring all 4 movies before it like every Bayformers movie ever does.
>>
>>6246496
I have a friend like that, I just give him space. There are some well adjusted old school fans at 30+ many just have jobs, spouses and/or kids so it can be hard to hang and have fun with the brand.
>>6246534
I disagree I think there are many healthy fans at this age. It's just life is busy and shittting on threads about genders and shit isn't really somthing they want to get into. I really enjoy the brand and never get angry or upset when they try new stuff. More so when they keep doing shit like remastering the old film, and making old call back toys. It keeps the charm to the brand and makes it fun. I think it's a level of how serious you take it and I think that demands a lack of life outside the hobby.
>>
>>6246496
I swear, some fans enjoy complaining a lot more than the stuff they say they enjoy. Like I get it, Bayformers are a success despite the quality but does he have to complain about it like marathoning Armada and saying Kissplayers sucks throughout?

To be fair they're only believing it because of the new writers Hasbro hired and because they're actually trying to rival the MCU with their own cinematic universe before starting up a REVOLUTIONS shared universe.

So yeah they're not COMPLETELY convinced it will be coherent, just convincing each other that it might actually go Barber on the continuity. I actually just stalk the sites for any CG stills, instagram footage and trailers.

Everything and everyone else there is just fans trying their best to smile at a Schrodinger's box.
>>
>>6246535

I never minded niggerbots. I still wish they had their proper send off in a battle with Sentinel in DOTM and that they could combine like how they were originally envisioned.

>>6246540

From my experience with people like >>6246534 mention is that they aren't toy collectors and they aren't Transfromers fans. They are nostalgic G1-cartoon fans.

There used to be a LOT of them especially back when the Bayformers were fist announced. They came into the fandom after many years, most of them thinking that G1 ended in '86 and then they got ANGRY at the fact that Transformer was going on all this time but was different. The one who bitch the loudest are usually just cartoonfag that never really cared that much about toys or comics or any other aspect of the franchise.

And it'd weird, I hang around mostly comic fans irl and none of them are NEARLY as aggressively angry as the g1 cartoon fans at the rest of the franchise merely existing.
>>
>>6246552
I still laugh at people who would rather TF go GI Joe obscure than have anything that isn't G1. Hell there are even Geewunners in the MLP fandom for both show and the toys.

>>
>>6246551

The thing with that "timeline" is the fact that it's literally just Aligned Timeline with some added in movie stuff in there.

I fully expect none of it to be IN the actual movie because that's not how Bay operates.

Every movie there is a fuckton of "lore" dialogue and scenes that get cut out of the film so that's why the movies always feel so disjointed and bizarre. A better director would find ways to keep them in but bay doesn't care, it's more important for him to keep the Romeo & Juliet law than have an actual explanation what the fuck the dinobots are.
>>
>>6246570
True, but doesn't stop the movie fans from being optimistic. They focus on what they find is good or different from the other movies and say that it could be interesting.

Well, whether the movie will finally be a 50% tomatometer "good" or not, at least the toys look more decent than the last movie line.
>>
>>6246567
Maybe, maybe not.
We're still missing:
>Cyclonus (unless CW count, but we got Hot Rod there too)
>Needlenose
>Spinistar
>Pointblank
>Sureshot
>Crosshairs (might need new name; see Twinferno/Twinferno or Roadburn/Chase)
>Landfill
>Quickmix
>Scoop (unless T30 count)
And that's not counting exclusives, Action Masters and shit.
>>
>>6246572

We'll never get a line like ROTF again because ROTF was really that good because there was no cartoon and generations wasn't as big so Hasbro could concentrate full on the movie.

That said this line looks way better than both DOTM and AOE. Both Megatrons look fun as fuck, voyager Optimus look way more interesting than any his AOE version even if I still hate his chest design, the new deluxe Bumblebee is probably the best looking movie Bee and guys like Steelbane & Voyager Scorn are a really cool looking nice surprise.

Hell that Barricade doesn't even look like a movie figure, he looks like old-school pre-gimicks Generations figure.

I'm sad that we probably won't get all character with guys like Onslaught and Mohawk probably being either gimmick only or movie only guys (given that they will probably have like 10 seconds of screen time no point in making toys of them) but what we have so far is a-ok in my book.
>>
>>6246581
We'll definitely most probably get Mohawk as a late line entry.

For some reason they've been keeping Barricade under wraps a lot in the trailers, meaning they're definitely saving him as a slight surprise for the movie.
>>
>>6246585

Megatron & Barricade are the main Decepticon duo for the film. They are the only ones that got official art reveals, bot mode reveals and are featured in the advertising tho.

I feel like they are the only two 'Con that will get any dialogue and most of the scenes. Maybe even an action scene. They rest are there to show up and get killed by Optimus/Bee/the little kid etc.

They were beautiful, there were a lot of robots and they showed even the end credit scene!
The end credit scene is:
Megatron wakes up after the battle,he is on that planet "thing" and he found an all new allspark. Then he looks at the universe were he was teleported and smiles.
Other points:
The friendship betwen Izzy and Sqweeks is so beautiful,Megatron is what people wanted from the begining,Barricade had many lines and he had a fight at the junkyard base and he transformed,we saw also Megatron transforming,Lennox and TRF are actually controled by Megatron.Onslaught will have some lines two and a fight with Hound,Hooligan is a beast,Nitro will have more lines than Shockwave,Mohawk will die,Berserker will be killed by Crosshairs,we see Drift too, there were some scenes of Hot Rod too,he is voiced by someone called Dujardin, there were a lot of references to the past movies and even to Sam and what happened to him,Anthony Hopkins has an great role too.

>Megatron is what people wanted from the begining

As in more badass or what exactly? Also did he have his cannon in the movie? Does his plane mode look like the toy?

>Nitro will have more lines than Shockwave

Shockwave only growled tho so any line is more lines.

>there were a lot of references to the past movies and even to Sam and what happened to him,Anthony Hopkins has an great role too.

Are there any references to ROTF with the old Primes and the Fallen and the Sun harvester?

How much of Age of Extinction's stuff is kept? Why is megatron called megatron again, and do /any/ of the decepticons use the transformium transformation?
Do we see any more of the quintessons besides their hands?

The CGI is the best,ILM worked really hard on yhis movie.
Megatron is just amazing. He has the canon,it's transforming.
His plane looks like the toy, there are small differences, they reference the Primes and the Fallen, they actually make a cameo at the begining of the film.
>>
>>6246551
This contradicts RotF,but who cares! That one sucked.I like this canon better for the movies, they will do that thing like Xmen DofP were they wipe out the past events.

He got an upgrade,it wasn't explained that much.It was just that TRF gives him all the transformium from AoE and he changed his body. Also, the "decepticon prison" is just a base for them.

He is corrupted,Quintessa made him to believe that he will save Cybertron if he gives her the artifact that's on Earth.

He is cybertronian.Of course,Megatron said to him: What are you?
He has a big gun in one scene,he protects Izzy (because she is not Mary Sue) from a human sized decepticon.
Izzy was going to Megatron because that was Cade's plan (well,he didn't want to go like that).

To be fair Anon even if you're right that's not really that had to do. Outside of like the Optimus VS Megatron fight in the '86 movie and the Optimus VS Megatron fight in Darkness Rising there really aren't many great or memorable action sequences in this franchise....which is kinda ironic actually....

Come to think of it the Devastation game probably has the best fight scenes in this entire franchise.

All I thought was "I hope she gets a toy!"

Ghostbusters failed because it was a shitty movie. We still like cool female characters.
>>
>>6246823
not that guy but I think the point he was making was that AoE had so much that was bot unnecessary and bad that it bogged down the really good bits in addition to pushing the film far beyond a respectable length, especially considering not many of the subplots of AoE fit together well as a part of a cohesive narrative. From what we're seeing and hearing of TLK, I imagine that even if it does have the same volume of content, it appears to be going the way of being a more cohesive whole than its predecessor.

I think the problem with BM Vehicons, at least the show ones, is that most of them are too unique it's hard to remold them into anyone else, except maybe movie characters.
For example, like Jetstorm's one-legged hover thingy, Thrust's unicycle feet, or Strika's skipped-leg-day legs with massive wheel feet .
Doesn't help that most of the time, their altmodes have separate "heads" poking out somewhere, like Tankor.

Lennox was cool, and Sam was also kinda cool because he was a perfect representation of some human sidekick trying to fight in a robot war he was never trained for. they also fought starscream together and won.

Problem is Sam was played by an annoying cunt and every other character he interacted with outside of John Tuturro was an even more annoying cunt.

Really if the original trilogy was just John Tuturro, Lenox and Epps nobody would've bitched about the humans.

Same with AOE if it was just Marky Mark nobody would bitch about the humans.
