Mighty Muggs are back.

With a new spin. Now the heads come with several expressions.
>>
First to be released are Star Wars.

The gimmick on these completely kills any interest I would have in picking these up.

Smaller size, weird new art style, silly gimmick

So disappointing

So for those who are not familiar, Mighty Muggs was one of the very first popular toy platforms for customizing, along with Dunny and Munny from Kidrobot, that would eventually pave the way for things like Pop Funko and Dorbz (for good or bad).
The licensed lines had outstanding paint apps, but it suffered from the lack of sculpting (all the pieces were the same template, only painted) which eventually caused it to die in front of the more popular Pops.

This renewal seems to take note of that and add sculpted pieces, which I like, even though most will not like the face gimmick.

So are these the size of the individual ones that came in multi packs from way back?

I think this really sums it up, for me.

I love the originals, I still have a few on my star wars shelf, but I'm not gonna humor any of these.

I think gradients make them much better.

No

They look to be about 4 inches tall
>>
So the face isn't a removable plate but instead rotates to a new expression correct?
>>
>>6568184
Yeah. No extra price for multiple heads.
>>
>>6568173
Groot looks bad with the "helmet", but I like that Spider-Man a lot.
>>
These looks even more autistic that funkos.
>>
>>6567745
Will we have Transformers too? I hope we get both movieverse and G1.
>>
>The toyline that was comparable to Pops but even WORSE comes back.
>got its shit together and and look better this time around

Anyone Saying Mighty Muggs were better than Pops and these new ones don't look as good as the old ones have shit taste.
>>

Only small stylized figures I like are loyal subjects ones.

This is utterly terrifying.
>>
>>6567751
I like how they didn't even attempt to make these faces look like the actors at all. That's what I look for in a licensed product I intent to spend money on.

they look like shit
this piece of shit isn't any better than funkos
