Let's say Yamaguchi is working on an Iron Man, which armor would be the best option? I'd go for either Extremis or Modular.
>>
>>6681400
Something classic like the Model 4. Modular would be good for those after a more Marvel Vs Capcom style.

I'd be quite disappointed with something such as Extremis just for the fact it's too much like the MCU suits and I'd like something a bit different to stand out from the sea of MCU Iron Man suits.

Maybe even just go really left field and do a Hulk Buster. Perfect to pair with Hulk.
>>
That Carnage looks fantastic.
I used to hate Yamaguchi revoltechs but he has really stepped his game up lately.
I am loving the Marvel stuff but I am really looking forward to when he starts doing Japanese stuff again.
The new tech would be amazing with some super robots or Toku heroes.
>>6681400
I would like something with shoulder pads to hide the shoulders a little like what we got with Wolverine.
A Yamaguchi original design like Carnage or Venom would be cool.
If I had to specifically choose one that already exists it would be the old MvC armor.
>>
Are you able to put Figma heads onto Spider-Gwen?
>>
>>6681487
I'm all for more Japanese characters and all, but if you look at it, there's plenty of other Japanese companies that are doing products for those characters. Yamaguchi has cornered the market (so far) for Western comic based superheroes from a Japanese toyline - he's branching out and doing stuff thats never been done before. I'd like to see more of these before they go back to their homeland stuff, to be honest.

Don't get me wrong I am not rushing or anything.
Even if I haven't enjoyed their books lately I like finally having figures of comic characters that can actually hit decent poses and I would love to see him eventually move onto DC or something before the line wraps up.
Yamaguchi Revoltech used to cover series nobody else did (Hellsing, Ruroni Kenshin, Zetman, Trigun, a metric shit ton of mechs) and I would like to see him revisit some of them or other neglected series using the things he has learned with the AY line.
>>
>>6681506
No. Her neck structure is very unique. Best you can do is to alter a face plate to fit into her hood.

>>6681487
I wouldn't call them "original designs" but more so as original art style like how different artists would draw heroes differently. So whichever suit gets picked will still be a specific suit design but in Yamaguchi's style.

AND it wont be anything old like that.
Extremis and onwards. More likely Bleeding Edge but with defined musculature.
>>
>>6681487

I want to see fat, thick cylindrical limbs Ken Ishikawa robots again. Handling Wolverine I think it's doable without having to do crazy panel folding and joint elongation.
Something to this level with superb to decent articulation.
It could be any IP robots.
>>
>>6681615
Well obviously.
I didn't think we were talking realism here.
I just threw out what I would like to see.
It will probably end up looking a lot like the movie or whatever Tony's suit looks like nowadays.
Something about modern Iron Man's look is really boring to me but I can't place why.
>>6681621
It isn't?
>>6681633
A good Getter Dragon is something I really feel is missing from my collection.
>>
>>6681663
In terms of design change there's the lack of white square, and if you want to be anal and call that Yamaguchi Original then go ahead.
Besides that it's stylization like everything Yamaguchi does. People don't call his Getters and Evas original Yamaguchi designs.

I think the phrasing, or so-called meme emerged recently because comic book people go nuts over which books or artists the figure is based on. Like there must be one.
>>
Which version of Venom is it playing off of if it is just stylization?
The extreme musculature, strange proportions, and constantly flowing suit are pretty neat and I have never come across that particular look in the comics since I am kind of a casual in that department.
If I am being honest Yamaguchi's Evas and Getters just looked like badly sculpted Evas and Getters.
>>
>>6681633
It's really sad that Getter died before great toys could be made for the manga designs. We are getting an SoC Emperor, though
>>
>>6681743
The point I'm trying to make is it doesn't need to be "venom from issue # blah blah blah" nor does that make it original design.

Maybe it's just me, but if you want to call something original design, I feel like it should be changed drastically to be unique. Like normal Kamen Rider vs SIC.

Yamaguchi rarely sculpts a character straight out of the source material, because that's not his job. Kaiyodo is well aware most customers wants the sculptor's signatures seen in their figures. With Yamaguchi that's high range of articulation with sculpts that enhances dynamic actions.

With a source material like comics that contains hundreds of different styles and designs I get that people want to pinpoint them. From Kaiyodo's point of view that must be tedious and pointless to look for a specif art they want to base a figure on. It could risk alienating the fanbase they already have.

For Venom all you should say is it's a Revoltech of Eddie Brock Venom. Nothing more nothing less. Any changes you see are well within the deviations of turning something into an action figure, even more so when that costume can look so different comic to comic.

I don't get why this is brought up so often with Marvel AY. Is it like this with ML or DCC? Those toys have their own unique style most of the time too.
>>
>>6681760
>Emperor
I honestly forgot all about that thing.
Neat I guess but I would rather have a G or Go.
>>
>>6681743
The musculature and coloration seem to be based off Ultimate Venom, with a more mainstream looking head and the chest/back symbol, which the Ultimate version lacked outside of covers and the Ultimate Spider-Man video game where it got the symbol after absorbing Carnage. So if you wanted to argue anything, it's a combination of multiple existing designs, not something original.

But even then, in the mainstream Marvel universe, Venom appears bulked up like that pretty regularly, it's just not necessarily his default look.

Then you've got the missing hand squares, which are an unfortunate oversight, but not something that makes it Yamaguchi's OC Donutsteel redesign.

So is there always this much autistic shitflinging over semantics in these threads?

The thing to me is that precisely *because* a single comic book character has dozens of different artists, variations and stylizations are perfectly fine, and if you're into comics you probably understand this to some degree already. Deadpool alone has been drawn anywhere from lanklet mode to Hulk levels of bulky, and he doesn't have nearly as long a history as Wolverine or Spiderman.
At least with manga people can reason that there's one artist so the character has a distinct, uniform look, but ideally the artist's own style merges with Yamaguchi's, and the result turns out amazing like Toyohisa.
>>

>>
>>6681743
>Which version of Venom is it playing off of if it is just stylization?
90's Venom. He's a very dark blue color, he's got the giant jaw and tongue, he's got the huge gorilla build and the flowing symbiote look. He's missing the white hand squares, but thats it really.
>>
>yfw he goes outside the norm and does best boy Superior Iron Man

>I don't get why this is brought up so often with Marvel AY. Is it like this with ML or DCC? Those toys have their own unique style most of the time too.
I do wonder if something is to do with it been a Japanese line of figures. They are usually very specific renditions of the character (usually from the MCU/DCEU) where as Legends are more vague figures which you wouldn't pin down to a specific style or issue like you can pin the Japanese ones down to a specific movie.

I can only assume people are still expecting the ability to pinpoint some exact design even though they are comic designs and not movie designs.
>>
>>6682313
You mean Kaine
>The Amazing Yamaguchi is a lowkey Amazing Spider-Man line
>>
>>6682330
My thinking was it's the /co/ anons who are new to Revos and Yamaguchi's stylization. Like with American toy lines they're used to it so don't bring this idea of what art style or comic the sculpt is from.

Because if you look at Japanese action figures or model kits, they rarely are true renditions of the source material. Granted there are very few alterations compared to comics, but some older IPs have a decent amount. Right now I'm thinking mostly of Bandai and their Gundam products. RD Gundams goes around trying different styles time to time like AGE, G, etc. Gunpla have their own unique look different from anime or official illustrations. Only recently they're aiming to recreate the anime look with RDs of the original Gundam series. Even for Kamen Rider and Ultraman the focus is on screen accuracy just now, weather or not the initial attempts were just poor sculpting skills.

SHF and MAFEX HC Spider-Man were both great action figures in different ways. It's really up to how you like the design of that Iron Spider suit assuming they wont change the jointing too much from the HC ver..

AY Spider-Man is still the best for pulling off the comic poses and looking organic about it.

It would be a while for the new movie suit figures to come out in Japan, but I think Kaiyodo will keep producing AY Spidey forever.
>>
>>6686557
Depends on what you're looking for from a Spider-Man figure, really. There's no objectively better figure.

If you want a very well articulated figure of the classic comic suit, and don't mind the flaws of the Revo, go with that.

If you want decent articulation that looks better aesthetically, and you like the new Iron Spider suit, go with the SHF or Mafex.

Man, what a disappointment. The armor is too loose and the joints are WAY too fucking tight. He basically falls apart as soon as you try to move anything. Plus he can barely hold anything that isn't the knife. They should have just released an armor version and a naked version.

Looks good though, I'll give it that.
>>
>>6689596
Maximo when?
>>
>>6689596

Those gaps in the armor with the skin showing through look so terrible.
>>
>>6689596
Got it in my bbts pile of loot and maaaan the exposed skin points bother me. I love this franchise though and this is probably the best toy I can ever hope for.
>>6689698
My favorite PS2 game hands down. Crossing my fingers and toes for game classics to get to him.
>>
>>6689709
>>6689717
I don't even care about the skin colored joints. Arthur's armor obviously isn't very sturdy anyway. It's just a shitty figure to mess around with. Especially disappointing on something with so many display options.
>>
>>6689717
You and me both man. I love Maximo.

>>6689723
What else is bad about it? I was considering picking this up due to the unlikelyhood that a Maximo will be made.
>>
>>6689733
The arm armor, leg armor, and helmet are all held on by friction, meaning they fall off very easily. The actual joints on the figure (except the wrists) are all ridiculously tight, so attempting to move a limb will usually just result in you yanking the armor off, while trying to rotate a limb to bend the joint in a certain direction just results in the armor twisting on it's own. The shoulderpads fall off easily and really restrict the arm movement. The articulation in general is very limited by the armor. The helmet and hairpiece fall off at the drop of a hat, and they don't really have a set "place" on the head. He can't hold anything properly and literally comes with fists and a single holding hand.

Overall it's very limited and trying to use the articulation it has results in it falling apart and having to reattach everything. Also the stand fucking sucks. It's all plastic with no way to tighten the arm.
>>
>>6689753
Shit dude that sucks. Thanks for saving me sixty bucks. I was on the fence anyway because there wasn't a monster also made to go with him.

I am not clicking on that.
Anyway I said KF has awful CG not that CG is awful in and of itself.
CG anime can look good.
That recent gem show is a good example of that.
KF just looks terrible.
Of course I could get over that if anything else about it was worth a shit.
>>6689593
I assumed that was mostly a YouTube thing that kids were into.
It is admittedly way worse that Kemono Friends.
>>
Revoltech are supposed to have ratcheted joints, right? I just got an AY Wolverine off eBay and the joints are all figma-type swivels. They hold position fine but I'm thinking I unintentionally got a KO?
>>
>>6690907
I believe they’re supposed to be like that.
The only one ratcheted is the ab joint, correct?
>>
>>6690907
more and more revoltech joints are unratcheted these days. wolverine's in particular are all smooth aside from his torso.

unless there are other telltale signs of bootlegs present with your wolverine, you're fine
>>
>>6690924
>>6690944
Okay, good to know most of them are unratcheted anyway. My torso joint doesn't ratchet either and the paintwork is spotty here and there. Overall the figure is still fine.
>>
>>6690907
Wolverine's torso has a big revo joint with ratchets, and the shoulders are double 6mm which have weaker ratchets. That's it for Wolverine.

The typical ratcheted joint placements for the last few AY are torso, shoulders and knees. Everywhere else with independent joints are those used in the Revol Minis and they're not ratcheted, not meant to be pulled out, or have a ball end.
>>
>>6690967
>My torso joint doesn't ratchet either
Uhh sounds like a knockoff then. How much and how shitty are we talking?

FYI just use amiami or HLJ.
>>
>>6690969
Okay, I appreciate the info! I think I got a knock off.

>>6690974
The paint isn't horrible, the lines are clean for the most part, there are just a few dots of blue where there shouldn't be. I got it off eBay for $25 so I knew what I was getting into. Considering this is likely a knock off/factory reject, it's still pretty great.
>>
>>6690200

>>
>>6690988
>>6690225
good advice, thanks
>>
>>6689753
I think I would be a-ok with gluing my armor on once he comes in.
>>
I wanted to get Cyborg Ninja around a month ago, checked the prices then and they were around 110+.
I mulled it over and considering I really like the design and small humanoids, I decided to bite the bullet and get it even thought i'm not really into figures usually, but wait after Christmas expenses.
Now I'm checking the price and the absolute cheapest is 170 + shipping.
What the fuck happened? Are such big prices fluctuation common with Revoltech or RevolMini products in general?
>>
I'm thinking of buying some older Revoltech figures. Are there any problems with them that the newer ones don't have?
>>
>>6691296
Not really, unless it's popular or people know it's pure scalper bait. Grey Fox definitely falls under the 2nd catagory.

>>6691495
Depends on the figure, but the older ones had dog shit joints that were basically useless. But again, it depends on the figure's release date. Which figures are they?
>>
>>6691558
I'm looking into the mechas like Transformers, Gurrens, Zone of the Enders, and anything else that isn't scalper priced.
>>
>>6691571
The older release TF's had crappier joints I think (not sure). I know Optimus had a Legacy re-release which would have better joints, but I know the Legacy's blue paint is more purple than blue.
ZOE ones are fine, only bad part about them is their stands are the older type that really suck ass.
Gurrens, I have no idea about their joints. Sorry man.
>>
>>6691571
I actually have the Wing Gurren Lagann and it's pretty good. The articulation isn't spectacular like the newer stuff, but I can recommend it. He comes with the sunglasses boomerang, an alternate head, and a drill hand with a little piece to turn it into a Drill Core when you're not using it. He should be able to hit about any pose you'd like.
>>
>>6691558
Do you think it's likely the Grey Fox will go back down again or should I just clench my asshole and buy it before it climbs up more?
>>
>>6691597
I wouldn't buy it at that price, it's just not worth it. But barring an absolute fucking miracle it'll never get re-released. Then again, figma Snake is getting re-released, so who knows?
>>
>>6691603
Thanks for the advice, I guess I'll just be scanning ebay for the foreseeable future.
>>
>>6691608
Oh, and don't take my comment as the idea it might go down in price. It probably won't. It's an older figure of a popular game series that got dumped into the toilet and flushed by the company that owns it. It's probably never getting merch again. Even figma Snake getting a re-release is fairly unbelieveable far as I'm concerned with how hard and to such great lengths Konami went to say "Fuck you" to everyone who ever liked Metal Gear.
>>
>>6691597
>>6691612
I think there is a small chance Bringarts will release some MGS action figures in 6 inch. It might be a SE only toy line or it could do IPs done in PAKs.
And SE has no soul or at least cares about the fiasco with Konami so has nothing holding them back from making action figures from their IPs.

Anyways I say it's better to not overspend on a imperfect toy (this case not in scale) and wait for a future potential toy. Especially if it's from a popular property, even for a video game one.
>>
>>6692232
To be fair the scale is actually what I like. If it could be even tinier with the same proportions and articulations, I'd have bought it instantly no matter the price tags. I love miniature figures.

>>
>>6692513
Oh I like it too, good size and construction to play with like the original Revoltechs. It's a unique scale though 1/16ish and not quite right for the GI Joe fans either, so it's a negative to most.

Revol Mini was a good line if they could've kept it as a minimalist line, few paints and accessories but cheap and plentiful in releases. Ohh well.

Bigger point is it's not worth paying extra for. Opportunity missed, just move on and wait for the future.

BEST REVOLTECH OF 2017?

I only put the "new sculpts" up here, also ignored the non action figure ones such as vehicle figures. Threw in Game Classics for now.

It's probably Spider-Gwen for me. All the Yamaguchi sculpts were fantastic this year but she gets extra points just for how rare it is for Yamaguchi to make a female Revoltech.

>>
>>6692987
To me it would be Wolvie. From what it looks like, Judy. I don’t have the figure but from what I’ve seen she looks like she could be figure of the year.
Aesthetic wise I would go with Venom but his loose torso and wonky legs on a lot of releases kill it for me. I want to love my Venom, but his torso is just so goddamn loose.
>>
>>6693469
That's why he is the chad avenger for a reason.
>>
>>6694007
I actually ended up putting one of the fat polynian joints in him and he's a bit more rigid now.

>daibadi joints
>being sturdier than literally anything else
I'm not even being facetious, I don't understand how that's possible
>>
>>6694010
I’m not into that stuff so I dont have any of those joints but I’m glad you found a solution!
If anyone else has any other suggestions I would love to hear them.
>>
>>6694060
They sell loose packs of Polynian joints so you don't really have to be into the line to get a hold of some of them.
>>
>>6693662
>>6693718
Arthur and Beat were both clearly developed as part of the Vulcanlog line which uses revolver joints. At some point Union decided to make it a separate thing and not use revo joints.
>>
>>6694041
I assume the pegs were slightly bigger, just enough to increase friction and hold the torso. It has nothing to do with the hinge part of the joints. And just as achievable by thickening the peg on the revo joint.
>>
>>6692987
For me it's gotta be either Gwen or Wolverine. I think Gwen pulls ahead just for being such a well articulated female figure, and finally being a Spider-girl that can get into all the extreme poses you want a Spider-person to get into. After all the Spider-Girls on the shitty Marvel Legends teen girl body she was a godsend.

So I bought a lot of the marvel revoltechs from a bst group and I'm worried my venom is a KO. He looks alright but the joint that connects his torso to hip isn't the right color joint from what I've seen. The guy I bought it from did a fix for another revoltechs shoulder so it could just be a fix. Anyways pic related is the joint

My guess would be it’s a replacement torso joint.

Just got my revo Wolverine today. His left arm is lower because the join wont fit in all the way, his spine is a bit crooked to the left, got some paint chipping on his abs, and the plate of his crotch is short on one side. Any of these problems with yours?
>>
>>6694625
>>6694631
What handguns would you recommend for her?
>>
>>6694661
Had a wolverine where the spine issue was pretty severe, it's the piece in the torso where the peg goes into that's not properly sitting flush against the plastic. Evening turning the joint to line it up didn't help much. Ordered another one through Amazon to swap it out and even that one had it, just wasn't nearly as bad. Had some painting chipping too but nothing serious. Wolverine seems to be hit or miss, still a great figure though.

minor question: do amiami preorder discounts decrease over time?

like are they really good on first arrival but get worse and worse as the figure gets closer to release?

i just need to know if i should PO cap right now for the best deal from them
>>
>>6694763
It's happened before on such figures like the Figma Lucina.
Not sure if they do it for all or ones that are proving popular and preorders sell out at first.
>>
Best place to buy Revoltech?

Really interested in picking up Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage and Wolverine.
>>
>>6694661
Same issue with the left arm, have you tried trying to pushing it in further?

My figuure’s neck also came out leaning more towards the left and couldn’t position it into a neutral position until I took his head off and manually adjusted the peg and trapezius floating piece.

Also anyone else’s figure joints come in really stiff? I’m afraid they going to break when I first try moving any of the joints.
>>
>>6694865
Amazon probably, since their refunds come in handy.
>>
>>6694763
They like to lower the discount all the way up to 0% on release if it's selling well enough.
>>
>>6694885
Tried to push it in the moment I noticed it. Not budging at all. The peg the right side when it connects to the torso wont go down flush like it does on the left, so I guess that evens out the arms.
Also my figure's right wrist joint was in an up and down position rather than in and out. Trying to turn in popped it off the peg. I managed to pop it back and turn it into position, but nos he has a loose wrist.
It still had enough strength to hold the claws without slumping down, but now it feels weird.
>>
>>6694954
The best way to optimize the grip of the joint peg to body PVC is to use heat. Blast the figure with a hair dryer to make it softer. If you keep the joints out and let it cool it will have a stronger hold on the joint, the reverse to loosen it.

And don't heat any real thin pieces like the claws because it could get warped because it gets soft for like a fraction of a second typically and is difficult to manipulate. Real risky move that I sometimes need to do messing with Gundam models

so how's arthur's armor? is as flimsy as reycal's armor parts?
>>
>>6698391
Yeah, there's almost nothing out there for reviews. The problem with the cape is that it's on swivels instead of revolver or ball joints, which means it can only move side to side. It's more or less fine for neutral poses, but being unable to have it flowing back is awful for action poses, and it makes sitting ones impossible.

The paint and sculpt are really nice though, and they make up for the cape for me.
>>
>>6698382
Still think they should have gone with the classic costume for this. Personal taste aside, the classic wouldn't need the shoulder pads, knee pads, etc which could serve to make it bulkier than it needs to be.

Is it true the all Americans looks like this??
>>
>>6699084
I thought of that too, but I think that opportunity closed when Captain America was announced. Like, I can see Kaiyodo going for Captain Marvel, that primary colours main hero aesthetics when they were avoiding main Avengers that had 5 different movie versions already. But since they said fuck it we're doing them anyways I don't think they would bother with her anymore.
>>6699139
I like that too but be weird to cherry-pick Guardians since they would never bother going through the main ones of today.

Big yes for a female character wielding all sorts of weapons. Very few of those who can hold rifles or swords properly with two hands.

>>6698763
Since there's a delay of feedback to production and announcement, I say we'll know by the next two or so AY reveals. Just as Magneto and Carnage were results of Venom's popularity. I don't know if Gwen left enough impressions for a similar response though.
>>
>>6699200
If you want to get more technical I think Legacy didn't include the orange box while most or all of the SciFi Revos did. The Revos themselves not much difference for Mark 1. Old joints vs new joints but the old ones were good too had fewer ratchets that's all.

If you're looking for the red ones like 6, 7, and 42 it's another story.
>>
>>6699216
Tell me more about the red ones? Share your knowledge, senpai.

They did carnage out of nowhere after two non-spider characters so I don't think that's a consideration. And depending on how long the line goes, there's movie hype to piggyback on.
>>
>>6699228
Off the top of my head...
42 old one has wobbly joints all around so get Legacy,
Legacy of 6 is unpainted for the red parts, using the plastic colour like the Mini. So strange.
5 and 7, the old ones got colour fading issues so go with Legacy. They don't look like they would fade anymore.

I think that's about it for something of note.
>>
>>6699249
Carnage was response to the success of Venom so that's why there's a long gap. Movie hype of Cap Marvel I can see being a factor, also AY would go for it before anyone else.

I just don't think they would go for a character that overlaps visually and characteristics wise. To the degree for those unfamiliar with them. Even Spider-Gwen looks drastically different from Spider-Man over any number of other spider ladies.
With a low character coverage line I think they want some variety in the lineup, so they would likely go for someone else. She-Hulk probably have a way higher chance now. Unique looking and easy to tell what kind of character she is.

Maybe one day they will realise they can make more money whoring out the brand to toy makers than waste money making non Kojima MGS games. Though I suspect they would rather let it die than bring attention to him.
>>
>>6699291
It's not about Konami not letting toys being made. Not really how it works. The toy makers hates them so much they don't want anything to do with them. Especially the smaller places like Kaiyodo who have good relations with Kojima, so they will follow him instead.

I doubt Kaiyodo will do anything Konami related for a long while.

The claw that comes with the stand is garbage. Not nearly as tight as it should be and definitely needed screws in there to tighten it.

The cape does look annoying as shit, but it still looks like you can get some decent poses out of him. Getting a low pose out of him does does sound pretty bad, though. Having to swivel the cape to the side must look really ugly.

DMC figures worth it? They're surprisingly cheap. Would they look okay next to 6 inch figures or are they closer to minis?
>>

Maybe, but in these: >>6694754 >>6685493

>>
>>6699612

Just a word of warning for people interested in these, the greatswords don't scale and some of the shields that go with the lances and SnS don't have handles to loop or hold.

Everything else in the line is surprisingly well done.
>>
>>6701647

They are also difficult to find, forgot to mention.

I have a few for sale if anyone is interested.

I'm not too sure how consistent it is with everyone else but one thing that I noticed after posing Judy was her head detaches pretty easily and that separate collar piece makes me worry a bit on losing it somehow.
>>
>>6699216
Thinking about this post, the "fewer ratchets" bothered me, that's when I remembered I have Hobby Base joints! Just swapped out my Mark 1's ankles, and it is 1000% better. Thanks!

Assemble borg girl was very disapointing. Painfully tight joints even after heat treatment, very small, and almost impossible to stand because of her ankles. I sorta feel like I bought a $50 joint pack. Magneto is a love it or hate it thing, but he's not my bag. My biggest problem with him is the cape, but even after I replaced it with a cloth one he's still my least favorite of the line. Get gwen, she's amazing.
>>
>>6702856
Gwen it is then.
Thanks.

She does come with a bunch of parts, but they all feel like extensions rather than something you actually build. Like you can give her slightly different heads, tiddie plates, or whatever, but it never felt substantial. Sort of like character customization in a really basic videogame.
>>
>>6702856
>>6702984
Yeah I ended up canceling because of the reports I was hearing AND the fact she didn't look like she was build friendly at all. It was really disappointing to basically have a minor costume swap girl instead of some platfom to build crazy shit off of like the first two Nexus releases gave. Hell, even Jarkroid gave us more options.

Sounds like you're making that pass already. Unless he gets bought up in droves then you can take a chance later on. I just wish he had a laughing face just so I can get in that DMV scene.
>>
>>6702508
Kirin Blademaster is way more memetic and well known, since it's at the forefront of like every fucking MH based doujin.
>>
>>6703332
Nick is a huge bummer but I didn't really like him in the movie anyway so I decided to take the plunge on Judy if only to have a high end action figure of a western cartoon character.
Look at it this way if you get buyers remorse you will probably be able to sell her for a profit somewhere down the line.
>>6703352
This.
The Marvel guys are amazing and I haven't followed a DC comic since Nu52 but I will aways be a DC fag at heart.

These ridiculous proportions were made for Revo joints.
I wouldn't mind a couple death row inmates like Spec with bullet wound alternative head or Doyle with his hidden blade gimmick.
I'm really excited about the Death Row arc being made.

If Captain America's any indicator, he's willing to do chunky, ultra-muscular takes on characters. So even if he does a vanilla classic costume, as long as they're bulky they should end up similar to the Miller designs.
