I got in on the D-Arts train last year. I paid the scalper tax for every single one of them but in the end it was worth it. It cured my regret and my feeling of missing out.

Now I'm just upset there aren't more, even if it's cheap recolors. Reading old posts where people got mad about Ultimate Armor being announced makes me cringe.

What would you want to get made next and by who?

4inchnel seems like the only realistic choice, for this.

We have 5 different versions of X, and none of them feel like the definitive version.

>feels bad man

I'd probably go with the D-Arts since Zero, Vile, and Bass are in that line too.

Chogokin WOULD HAVE been my favorite if he didn't have the weird-ass puffy face. They couldn't have spared one more face? And fuck that loss armor and weird red dog thing.
>>

Because the other one 404'd.
>>

D-Arts is the gold standard for the Mega Man X series.
>>
>>6950976

NXEdge is in my opinion the most faithful to the SNES Sprite. It looks so fucking good.
>>
>>6950976

4inchnel is the definitive version of X's artwork. If you don't like the scale too-bad.

Truforce is the definitive X in terms of quality and engineering.
>>
>>6951065

Congratulations, you just proved my point. There is no one definitive representative of X that you can tell people, "This is the one to get."
>>
>>6951071

Well there never will be. Sound like you want something that is absolutely flawless and ticks every checkbox conceivable, and that isn't going to happen.

Anyone else picked up one of those bootleg D-Arts X figures currently on auction or AliExpress? Got two for testing and maybe some custom work, and wanted to see if they are share much too tight shoulders, no neck movement at all, and are missing empty buster attachment for the buster shot attachments.

I've been thinking of going for the 4 inch-nel mega-man for awhile but I've never bought from the line before.

>>
>>6956747
>>>6956188
shame for you guys the reless price for the real one was amazing but for the aftermarket none of the d-arts megaman line is worth it your better off with the 4 inch nel unless you can find the one dude selling the d-arts for its retail price
>>

It's impossible to find D-Arts for the release price. It's inflated EVERYWHERE

4 inches is probably smaller than you think it is. I collect mostly 1:12 imports and he fits in just fine with them because I always saw Mega Man as a smaller character anyway

D arts or nel?
>>
>>6988135
The D-Arts aren't perfect but they're good and accessory-heavy with a decent variety. They also scale with most of the 4-Inch-Nel line.

The 4-Inch-Nel is really good but doesn't scale with anything but maybe Rock Volnutt and the outdated 90's model kits. That could change though, since the line is apparently clinging to life with Roll Caskett and MM11 Mega Man coming.

Lastly there's the 66 Action X, which is getting a better version in September that replaces the dash effect part with a forearm you can swap his buster for. This line has Vile in the same wave and a couple of candy kit ride armors for them releasing at the same time. 66 Action is also ongoing and could get more X characters in the future.

tl;dr: D-Arts is up your alley if you want X and Zero right now, and there's also a couple of armors, Zero variants, and Vile to go with them.

>>6988276
4-Inch-Nel is a better figure but doesn't come with Rush and has a matte finish which I don't really care for. D-Arts comes with Rush, blast effects, clear plastic disks under the feet, and has a gloss finish, but the elbows are apparently fragile, the articulation range isn't as extensive, and the Met on my copy is leaking plasticizer.

I can't really choose, honestly. Both have their pros and cons.
>>
>>6950882
Are there any decent Robot Master toys? I've got a Mega Man, but a Gutsman or Quick Man would be great to go with him.
>>
>>6950990
It looks good until you get it in hand. That thing is covered in weird turn a gundam styled greebles.

>>6950976
My favorite is probably d-arts for design and 4 inch Nel for posing
>>
>>6988250
How is the plamo btw? They just restock them here and i'm thinking of getting one but koto kits tend to disappoint me.
>>
>>6988593
It's way better than the SHF in my opinion. I like it very much but I can understand why some don't like it as much.
>>
>>6974451
Already have the Smash one and it's probably not even coming out in Europe like the physical Switch versions of MM11 because Capcom are fucking retarded and hate their fans.
>>
Bump
>>
>>6959748
Cut Man is the lightest of those, plus he's less likely to move around the box because of his big blades.

If you somehow got lucky and are near a Toys R Us that still has the store exclusive ones, they have a Smiling Cutman variant. Or if you're at a Target that has the store exclusive case you could get a glow-in-the-dark version. Hot Topic also has a metallic version.

But you might as well go on eBay and see if he's available for less than $14 since he's a common.

>>
>>6959748
I got the Sigma one out of this series and I'm honestly a little disappointed with it's major lack of articulation. The only POA are the hip, shoulder, legs, and neck. Very much unlike the Street Fighter line which had additional POAs on the hands, feet, and knees.
>>
>>6988316

>leaking plasticizer

An additive in the rubber-like material chemically breaking down and becoming sticky, which makes any paint on top of it sticky as well.
