Anyone kind of hoping and wishing, Hasbro will finish releasing the God-tier fourth incarnation of the Masters of Evil roster from Under Siege?

Right now (costume issues aside) we have a good chunk of the roster already made:

Baron Zemo
Moonstone
Wrecker
Piledriver
Bulldozer
Thunderball
Absorbing Man
Tiger Shark

All we are missing are:

Fixer
Goliath (BAF fodder)
Yellowjacket II
Mr Hyde
Titania
>>
Give me KKK Zemo from Deadpool max.
>>
>>6991802
Teams Hasbro will never finish
>superior foes
>life foundation Symbiotes
>any incarnation of masters of evil
>>
>>6991802
>Fixer
>Goliath (BAF fodder)
>Yellowjacket II
>Mr Hyde
>Titania
this could make for a pretty decent SDCC set actually.
>>
>>6991920
Titania could be a Captain Marvel wave villain

Mr Hyde would also be a candidate for BAF too given his size

I'm shocked they haven't done Yellowjacket II yet for one of the Ant Man lines.

That said, Fixer is a tough one because if they do a traditional Fixer costume, Thunderbolt fags will complain and if they do Techno, he won't fit with the MOE team.
>>
>>6991927
I really loved thunderbolts, my bad hahah
>>
>>6991927
Female Yellowjacket makes more sense to be a GOTG wave figure.

Rita was a member of the OG Guardians (via time travel) and they could fit her into that context-wise. Might have to sell her under her civilian name, but it's more likely they can fit her in that series instead.
>>
>>6991802
Im fucking pissed that the only modern crossbones and ghost figures are in a 5 year old set that costs 500$ online, i wish they would rerelease both soon
>>
That's a super-duper shitty roster for a super-villain team.

And really, why push for such a garbage group of villains when we still don't have the complete Superior Foes, who are far cooler than some mort team from a shitty ass story that was about 30 years ago?
>>
>>6991999
Faggot please......

Read Avengers Under Siege. One of the most critically acclaimed Avengers stories ever made and far better than Nick Spencer's half-assed offerings.

Doc Cock review: no bendy wire but still cool.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgGnBsG5qRs
>>
Roger Stern explained the motives for his Masters of Evil roster in an introduction from one of the TPBs of the storyline.

1. He wanted to subvert the notion that all evil teams had to have a roster of the same number of people the heroes side had.

2. Packing the Masters with dumb muscle was a conscious move towards making Zemo's team far deadlier than the Avengers. And note, this was back when the Wrecking Crew was still a major force and not just jobbers like they are nowadays.

It was to basically make Zemo out to be a brilliant strategist. The Masters outnumbered the Avengers three to one and was filled with some of strongest and toughest villains of the day. This meant they could beat Hercules into a coma and make Thor's return to the group mean much more, in that he was facing about 6-7 men who were just as strong as Thor and had already taken out Hercules.
>>
That reminds me; really fucking wish we could get Marauders made as action figures.

They don't need the entire crew, just the core roster:

Scalphunter
Archlight
Vertigo
Scrambler
Sabretooth (classic costume)
Polaris in her Malice costume

ToyBiz Doc's tentacles fit in new Doc's holes.

Little bit too long, but you can hide the extra length with some cheap washers or something, if it even matters, since it'll only be visible from the side.

They messed up Lasher, so I kind of don't care. Lasher should have been on the same body as Venom, with Riot on the Sandman body and phage on the carnage body. It would have required retooling, so they just slapped lasher on superior venom and he looks like crap.

Well, there's Star Wars if you want to remain on Hasbro ground (although personally i find ML better than Black Series), you could also collect some Neca stuff since it's about the same price, i have a lot of Aliens and Predators which are pretty cool. Funny though, i got burnout from the Neca Aliens and Preds and moved to the Marvel stuff, but i went for Figuarts because i didn't had any experience with Japanese toys and the price (at least for me) means getting less figures in a row, you know, to avoid getting tired of it so soon again.

Most of the large figures (that Colossus, the Hulks, Juggernaut, etc) go pretty well with MLs. Even MS Thor, who's taller than most in the comics, works well.

Can a /co/ friend fill me in on this costume? I know it's one of his modern ones but did Magneto do anything significant while wearing it?

I know I would have liked to have seen the black and white/silver one with the sleeveless arms if we're talking about a modern look for Magneto, so I'm just wondering if there's a specific reason why Hasbro would choose this particular outfit.
>>
>>6996502
That's the Phoenix Force Magneto costume.
>>
>>6996351
Most of the big guys do like this anon says>>6996369
Colossus, Thor, Thing, Sabretooth, Lizard, Venom- I think they fit but a lot of collectors will say otherwise

Rhino, Abomination, any Hulk, Juggernaut, Groot, Hulkbuster, and Destroyer look great with MLs, and are much better than their respective BAFs
>>
>>6996195
I originally thought I had a defective body or arm. However a friend has the same issue with his. This is the third case I've heard about Mantis having a difficult right arm. I think it may be an issue with the figure itself. Anyone else have this issue?
>>
>>6996578
Just put mine through a full range of motion test, didnt pop out once. If anything the left arm is too tight and is hard to move around, but the right arm is perfect.

The TF side of hasbro does it all the time, sell the repaint first so people who buy stuff just to have it will bite, then do the main deco so more people will double dip. Same thing with brown costume wolverine before jim lee. Expect a classic magneto with that same head in a year or so.

>Paying new in box prices for an opened item.

It's one thing middlemanning and sending something to someone for retail plus shipping that's new in box. It's another thing entirely to impulse buy something, realize "shit, I don't actually want this" and then try to recoop the loss on your bad decision making by charging retail plus shipping for an opened item. Shit, I'd even cut you some slack if the figures were from a few years ago. Older figures tend to go for inflated prices, but dude, these literally came out a month ago, the wave hasn't even hit my Target yet.
>>
>>6997729

Funny story, I bought them off the dude. If I found these in store I would have just opened them and threw the boxes away, so I don’t give a shit if they are loose. Guy could flip them for more at this point even loose but just wants to get back what he paid for them, it’s a reasonable request.

I’m so happy to get them for retail, and the guy was nice enough to wait till my deposit hit in the morning so I even threw the guy a few extra bucks as a thank you. You guys are just salty.

Omega Red and Bishop will fly off the shelves. X-23 too maybe. The rest will pegwarm so I expect Sauron to be expensive, but selling the entire wave will probably not be solvent either.
>>
>>6998033
>Omega Red.
Oh. Ok, correction. I only want Sauron and Omega Red. Guess I might buy the whole wave then.
>>
>>6998063
I think all of them will pegwarm. Neither Bishop nor OR have a strong enough standing in the fandom world to "fly off the shelves" because if they did their older figures would command higher price points in the aftermarket (and before you say "but you can find cheap Spider-Man toys and he's popular," there's hundreds of choices for Spider-Man figures, but only one main release for both Bishop and OR).

It's not a strong wave at all aside from the BAF. It'll probably jam up shelves for a long time, if it ever actually gets stocked at retail. They really should have figured out a way to get another classic X character in the mix.
>>
>>6998067
Would've been a good time to put in Movie Colossus or NSTWarhead too.
>>
>>6998067
That’s true but I think Omega Red and Bishop will be a good replacement for a lot of people who bought the toybiz ones. And Bishop is a part of the 90s X-Men team that is so popular.

For movie, the new iron spider legends is a very good toy and is still only 20 bucks, even if it doesn't have the robolegs. MAFEX made a very good version of the homecoming suit that got reissued recently too, but it'll still probably run you 60+ at best. I wasn't really a fan of any of the figuarts suits, but they're solid if you like the way they look.

For comic, the vintage pizza spidey is fine for 20, but the lack of hands would bug me. I have the revoltech, and while it's the only one that can actually pull off some extreme spider-poses, it looks jacked up on a good day and I wouldn't recommend it. Honestly I'd wait to see what the comic mafex is like, because it's looking to be the best all around unless they seriously fuck something up.

I think so far the Sunfire body has only been used for Deadpool, Bullseye, Spidey 2099 (the white and red version), Scarlet Spider and Claw.

The Spider UK body would work pretty well for Sinister Spider-Man. You would lose the extra shoulder joint but it's a bit bulkier than the Spidey 2099 body (which I feel works better for Gargan) and comes in black, with claw hands, courtesy of the Walmart Black Panther.

he’s about $66 usd without shipping from HLJ or amiami. But im in the US

I was planning to do the same thing. I planned to use the upcoming Scarlet spider, since it has a good head mold for a sinister spidey

I used Brother Voodoo for my Agent Venom custom. Those bracers are just loose on the arms, with some heat they come off.

Are we ever going to get a thicc Squirrel Girl? They made Gwen Pool for god's sake. This new art actually make her look cute, unlike the past comics.

Ooh I like these ideas, thanks anons! I'll have to play around a bit. Different artists seem to make him skinnier or bulkier. I'm guessing that's unintentional, but works for a symbiote character.

Doubt Hasbro would be willing to invest on a chubby female body. Not many characters that can reuse it, plus SG doesn't have the popularity needed to justify the investment.

I'm the other guy who was talking about Lasher in the previous thread. He was one of my absolute grails as a kid, he looked awesome and his colors were so attractive. Plus he was more articulated than most other Spidey toys at the time. I was hugely disappointed in their handling of the ML.

Conceptually I like this Pepper, especially that she comes with the suited-up arm, but the face likeness looks bad from what I can see. I like the look of that armor but I already know that's a shit mold. And I just plain don't want the Mandarin.

What is the actual fair retail price for this Thanos? I've been skipping him because of the high prices I've been finding online, but it just occurred to me that maybe he cost more to begin with, being that he's so big and all.

I'm not even that bothered by the cloth outfits or additional panel lines/material changes, but the fact that this legitimately looks worse than the ML on a pure aesthetic level is troubling to say the least. He just looks awkward and poorly proportioned, and the facesculpts are really bad.

The only thing I like about this is the optic blast effects and smoking visor.

I paid 20 USD. He's the same amount as any other Marvel Legend, except he's a Wal-Mart exclusive, and pretty rare I think, which hikes up the price.
