>not liking Season 2
Top pleb
>>
It was funny but hard to watch
>>
This show should have lived on longer
>>
I'm still not sure if this show is overrated of if I simply don't get most of the wordplay.
>>
>>102255420
is this the only american show ever about philosophy?
>>
Why does Xavier's character change between seasons?
>>
>>102255909
Probably the second but not in a le high iq rick and morty way. Its just really stupid and fast paced.
>>
>>102255762
CHING CHONG HOT DOGS
>>
The only bad episode is Damnesia You, the one where they completely went fan-based and used IRL footage with different voice actors. Every other episode is a 10/1

>>102256078
What do u mean?
>>
>>102255420
The episode with the rich kid, which is one of the few episodes where xavier actually helps some one.
>>
>>102256262
>helps
Didn't he release a bunch of cowboy terrorists and indians that killed everyone at the casino?
>>
>>102256245
Xavier acts different in season 1 to how he acts in season 2.
>>
>>102256614
How so?
>>
>>102256647
he acts more season two-y in season two
>>
>>102255669
Xavier's exaggerated voice in the second season is pure kino.
>>
>>102256675
Yeah, you are wrong and you obviously can tell that now
>>
>>102256698
no
>>
>>102256078
His mind probably got more fucked up from the realization that he killed his father and that his mother was still alive.

>>102256558
Yes but he also gets $50,000 for that pet shop owner who was low on cash (and seemingly has no bad consequences happen to him).

I'm not sure I want more episodes only because the finale was pretty much perfect to me, I just wish we'd get a blu ray remaster.
>>
>>102257049
I'd love S3 if the drop-off in quality is the about the same to S2 as S2 was to S1.
>>
>>102255420
Squatopia
>>
Just watched the first two episodes. It's basically just Rick and Morty with PS2 graphics. Why does /tv/ like it so much?
>>
>>102255420
Going normal
>>
On the one hand, I wish Xavier had another season.

On the other, it'd probably ruin the show since it's been so long.
>>
>>102257844
we don't cotton to plebs around here
scram, weirdo
>>
>>102257844
The PS2 graphics make it funnier
>>
>>102257844
xavier's graphics are 100 times better than r&m's shitty flat flash animation
>>
>>102257844

It is not like Rick & Morty.
>>
they should reboot this show for one season like samurai jack
>>
>>102257844
>It's basically just Rick and Morty with PS2 graphics

Except that it's 90x funnier
>>
>>102257844
The wordplay on Xavier is light years beyond Rick and Morty's burping escapades.
>>
>>102258921

X has the wordplay, but R&M has character development. Both have okay philosophical or 'deep' humor, X is a bit better for this.
>>
best show
>>
>>102259061
The "character development" in R & M is pathetic. Only a simpleton would think it's halfway decent.

r&m wears its 'intellectualism' on its sleeve, expecting you to treat it as such. XRA is the opposite, appearing dumb at first barraging you with information and you get to take away what you can from it.

Nobody wants to be told 'this is a smart joke from a smart person', it's why someone like bill maher ends up with a drooling 80iq following.

>>
>>102259061
Even if that is what you call good charcter development (which it isn't at all), it's in service of nothing and only acts as another reason people can self fellate themselves for watching
>>
>>102255762
>Okay, you look normal. Now just act normal. Clutch the dark, purple hairs of the galloping orangutan of normalcy and RIDE NIGGA RIDE

Signs from Godrilla is one of the best you mong
>>
>>102257844
its a commentary of the new age movement. xavier is basically a self serving asshole while talking a lot of hippie shit. the dialog and animation is fun, thats about it.
>>
>>102259061
>character development

They change personallity every other episode in service of the joke they want to tell
>>
TASTE THE PAIN
>>
You somekinda ungabunga chinaman?
>>
>>102255762
This. Going Normal is top 3
>>
>>102261478
This, Xavier's fun because it never tries to be serious in the slightest even in its trippy sections.
>>
>>102255420
has anything else aired with half as much wordplay as this show had?
>>
Can't wait for The Shivering Truth
>>
How do you make a man?
>a quarter pound of deboned spine
>a little salt of the earth
>and for punch, a pinch of paprika of protection
>If I was a car, I'd be a protectorado!
>If a kanga me be, 'tis true, protecteroo!
>serve warm over protectoroni-OOOH NOOO!"

kino
>>
>>102262985

The fucking Finnegans wake of animated comedy
>>
Going Normal embodies the best qualities of the show. The wordplay is borderline poetic.
>>
>>102255903
IMO it lasted as long as it should. Wouldn't want it to get the same type of popularity as Rick and Morty had.
>>
>>102255669

I can't put my finger on what's wrong with 2nd season, I stopped watching it after first couple of episodes. Don't know why, but something about it definitely seemed off. What do you guys think?
>>
>>102255762
RIDE NIGGA RIDE
>>
>>102259913
the only thing about R&M i don't like is how on the nose half the jokes are, they overstay their welcome
>>
>>102264223
They made xavier sound and act alot goofier
>>
>>102259061
>character development
>in a status quo is god comedy cartoon show
Ayy lmao, I bet you think the episodes focusing on jerry and beth shitty relationship or PICKLE RICK were good character development.
>>
S1 10
>>
>>102264223
Season 1 is Xavier at 10, season 2 is xavier at 11
