What movies are special to you?

For me, it's Her, as I work in the AI field, I really love that movie.
>>
AI is literally a scam field its like saying you work in starups 6years ago. you don't have a real job you don't have a future and you don't have a sex life the real reason you like the film.

AI control all known information, but now how you think. It's all for the sake of advertising. AI controlled video recommendations, AI recommended music, AI recommended products, hell, even AI recommended restaurants and bars. Memetic replication of an object or concept and its overall cultural "fitness" determined by the highest bidder. It's almost like a less benevolent PATRIOTS from Metal Gear, but instead of creating context out in a sea of information, it's about selling products in a sea of consumerism. We can even take this a bit further if we explore how "clothes make the man" so to speak, meaning what you buy is usually indicative of who you are as a person. So if you have an AI constantly recommending what you buy, watch, and consume; it's safe to say we live in a society controlled by AI.

I wouldn't say so pal. I don't buy things impulsively online, I usually do some research and hence use particular search terms. Do the same with even music, movies and TV. I don't think I'm a rarity.

You may not, but imagine the NPCs that do. Not to mention every captcha you solve, and every search you make contributes to this Roko's Basilisk we've wrought on ourselves.

Someone somewhere has all the porn I've ever watched. Makes me feel terrible and extremely anxious.

Whiplash, The Wrestler, Full Metal Jacket to an extent, Dead Poets Society, Fight Club used to be until I grew up and realized it's mostly shit.

Cherish. It's my favorite movie ever.
>80's music, mostly romantic songs
>every "main" character is a loser
>everyone has an unrequited crush on someone
