Can we agree this show will undeniably surpass Breaking Bad by the time it is finished?
>>
No breaking bad was actually entertaining

Better call Saul is the Chuck to Breaking Bad's Jimmy.
>>
Is it just a meme that nothing really ever happens in that show or is it actually good?
>>

Nothing ever happens and it's good

It’s taken four whole seasons for “Saul” to emerge, if that gives you any indication. The B plot answers questions you never cared to ask like “I wonder what the construction process for that giant meth lab was like.” The only reason anyone continues to watch this show is because they liked Breaking Bad, tuned in for a season or two, and are now too invested to do anything but watch until the series finale.

The show is better for it, the dynamic between Jimmy, Kim and Chuck has been fantastic.

At least equal. Shit happens all the time, I genuinely don't understand the "nothing ever happens" memers.

You do get to see the back story of Jimmy's brother chuck, before he sold his store to Sneed and became a lawyer

Plotlines take a really long time to develop, and a lot of drawn out scenes barely contribute to the plotline. In particular, nothing that happens answers the major questions most Breaking Bad fans want answered, like what happens to Jimmy in the future. While things happen in each episode, they usually don't have a major impact on the entire plot.

Surpass it in being a bigger snooze fest.. probably yes

I think the show has become a big joke at this point. Is this guy spider man or something?

I have seen enough liveleak videos to know that it is literally impossible to gracefully fall through a ceiling.

Of course. Peter Gould then. Atrocious that they let this scene go through. What the hell? It's actually hilariously bad.

Countless options; like just threatening the thin ass dude with the gun, careless of the glass. No. Instead he has to prove to the audience that he's the salamanca assassin-version of Mike and that he's dangerous, so what does he do? Yeah he FUCKING SILENTLY CLIMBS UP INTO THE CEILING, SOMEHOW DOESN'T FALL DOWN BUT AT THE RIGHT PRECISE MOMENT WITH BAD CGI AND --- in a fucking television series as respected as Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul? Dissapointing.
>>
>>104747251
It's a slow show with often long scenes of a character doing something menial like washing a window. But yeah it's good, if you liked BB you'll like this if not don't bother.
>>
>>104748018
So did he kill the guy? When he was using the computer there was blood on his face.
>>
>>104746840
why is the key art for this show so lame? the show is visually great so you'd think this wouldn't be a problem for the team
>>
>>104748475
yea, i dont think he would knock him out when he could just kill him
>>

No.

Better Call Saul is interesting, very good, and amazingly written (in comparison to the regular series today like Vampire Diaries) but it does not compare to Breaking Bad.

Breaking Bad changed the world. I have found no one, not a single enthusiast for movies or art that has dug themselves into the world of Breaking Bad and said that it was bad. All have said that it was a really, really good watch, and it is.

Breaking Bad changed television like Heath Ledger would cement his portrayal of the joker. It's still seen today. It's still copied, still imperfect after the big shoes that it's left behind itself.

Better Call Saul is just that sloppy joker ripoff. You're going to enjoy it. You're going to love every Mike scene because who doesn't love Mike --- but in the end, Better Call Saul will be the Jared Leto in comparison to Breaking Bad's heath ledger performance.

Amazing acting, insane camera-angles, good choice of ambient music and story, it really has a high standard. But it's unfortunately not comparable to Breaking Bad in the slightest. It is slow at times, lacks the aggression of character progression that was key in Breaking Bad (for instance, compare Walter White season 1 to season 5, then compare Jimmy McGill season 1 to season 4 in Better Call Saul.) -- There's a difference. You are not on your toes anylonger wondering if Walter is going to kill shit for his greed. Saul's just complex and weird, and it's a shame that he isn't given the amount of time and respect that this character deserves in the series.

I hope that with the new season that will come out in 34 years, we'll see more character development, less german engineering, and less cameos. I want focus on these characters. Kim Wexler's moral compass breaking -- is she going to accept Saul's behaviors, or will she let him decay alone? Will Nacho rise in the ranks as a salamanca captain or will he die trying to escape them? That's what I want to see.

TL;DR - no.

i am liking BCS more than breaking bad and i dont know why
>>
>>104747251
Not a meme. Literally nothing changed since the 1st season with the exception of one of the characters.

Once again /tv/ shills for the lesser and mundane version. Don't get me wrong, BCS is great. But literally more happens in the first two episode of BB than the entire 4 seasons we have had so far. The only reason I stick around is for the post-breaking bad scenes.
