Were they just proto Ancaps?
>>
Smoking kind of violates the NAP.
>>
>>438364682
you're asking if literal mudering, train heisting, bank robbers are ancaps
>>
>>438365552
Not their fault that the owners couldn't inforce the NAP well enough
>>
>>438364682
No, they were neo-morons.
>>
>>438365552
Should have hired their local PMC.

>ancaps
Dutch was a leftwing extremist sjw and a commie
>makes everyone give half their profits to the gang
>constantly wanting to help oppressed groups like natives and those guarma niggers
>hates rich people simply because they're rich
>thinks he some kind of revolutionary hero when he's really just scum who betrays those closest to him
>>
>>438367248
Nope that was all private and not government so it's ok
>>
>>438364682
Yes and no. Isolationism and self determined are qualities of that ideology, but considering the way things are run at camp I would call Dutch, at least to some extent, an authoritarian. It sort of goes against the "anarchist" part. His ideology falls in line appropriately with the political beliefs of his generation, he just seems to adopt a Robin Hood mentality about capital. In fact he seems to be more left leaning then many of his peers.

TLDR, he's probably just a turn of the century Republican.

Dutch was a fucking commie who believed it was his right to steal money for his gang
>>
>>438368542
and also to kill anyone who was disloyal to him
>>
>>438368717
>you will never play a game with the same open world and camp set up as RDR2 but in the mountains of glorious North Korea with Kim Il-Sung as your Dutch
>>
>>438365552
the bank stole the money anyway, it wasnt their rightful property to being with
>>
>>438367248
Dutch doesn't even actually want to help the natives, he actively uses them and fucks them over for his stupid "WE GOTTA MAKE SOME NOISE" plan over and over. He just acts that way to look smart and kind to the people around him, dude is a selfish as fuck cult like leader
>>
>nobody knows what ancom is
>>
>put 1,000 into the gang box
>Micah donates a fucking squirrel
>ARTHUR YOU NEED TO DO MORE FOR THE GANG
O-ok
>>
>>438364682

I thought it was a great example of communism. They split all of their resources equally and could not of existed without a functional society to plunder and feed off of through violence.
>>
>>438364682
They're pretty much the opposite of ancaps
>>
>>438367248
You forgot
>likes freedom
>hates the government
Sounds like he was definitely liberty minded individual
>>
>>438364682
Anarcho-communists, they pretty much would have preferred to live in primitive societies where everything is shared (aka Injun society)
>>
>>438372415
But that's also the perfect example of Dutch's hypocrisy, Indian society was so close to what he wanted and he just exploited them for personal gain. I'm convinced all his philosophy is pure bull and he justs wants to make up for losing 20K at Blackwater, and if he ever got to 20K again he would just fuck off into the sunset never to be seen again.
>>
>>438364682
He is a Commie Sociopath. Sure he doesnt like the big bad uncle sam and has zero plans in relationship to the worker revolution meme. But his ultimate goal through the whole game is to get that cash, the last score so they can go live in a Utopia, which would probably be a self sustained community where him of course is the Leader. Arthur and John followed both his Ideology and Dutch, but both end up realizing that it was all horse shit, that they are no better thieves than other, the ideology was only a excuse. The rest of the Gang mostly didnt care about actual ideology. They followed Dutch, not his ideas.
>>438365552
Curiously in the Train Heisting category, Dutch has the company of Josef Stalin. Who would rob trains before his ascencion, in the name of the Party, of course.
>>
>>438372207
He likes liberty and freedom so much that he loses his mind when someone dares to question his plans.
>>
>>438364682

>theft and murder are less bad than being a retired slave catcher

Cultural Marxism in action, take note.
>>
>>438370521
yeah he had ulterior motives but I'm sure he deluded himself into thinking he was still helping them being a hero while also lining his pockets. Seems like he lies to himself as much as he lies to everyone else
>>
>>438373801
>>438370521
He doesnt lie to himself, there was this study about leaders, I think it was on Poland while occupied by URSS. The guy in questions, who was, of course heavily persecuted by the commies, reached the conclusion that the elite, rulers and so on were actually sociopathic. The people who followed those people, would not become sociopath themselves. They would become hystericals. Dutch himself tells in the game. He thinks the cause of the indians is rightful and that they should fight, ignoring the fact that they cant fight, they will only be massacred. When Arthur mentions this, he agrees, he say that he is not helping them for their good, he is helping them to cause a distraction. He knew he wasnt helping them and he didnt care.
>>
More like Proto - communists. Dutch actually has a few things in common with Joseph Stalin.
>>

they literally did, the pinkertons
