If you didn't read the Deluxe Edition comics, you wouldn't know anything about Shroud. The main antagonist didn't have a line of dialogue until the end of episode 7. I don't get why they didn't give him more screen time in his civvies.Hell, they could have had Chase talk about him during the balcony talk with Robert. Him standing up for and trusting Shroud, only to have him shoot Robert's dad would have worked perfectly for the scene and why he doesn't trust Invisigal.
