ITT: Ask and answer random questions.

Please remember:
- Answering your own question before anyone else has answered it is rude. This isn't your personal blog.
- Try to give the reasons behind your answer. (Assume that each question has "For what reasons?" appended to it.) One-word answers aren't interesting.

I'll start.
What's your favorite color?
Do you prefer apples or oranges?
Would you prefer to fuck (or be fucked be) a skeletally-anorexic person or a morbidly-obese person?
>>
>>73837
>What's your favorite color?
deep blue
>Do you prefer apples or oranges?
granny smith apples, dipped in peanut butter (not that fake jiffy crap thats 1/3 hydrogenated oil, actual ground peanut butter)
>Would you prefer to fuck (or be fucked be) a skeletally-anorexic person or a morbidly-obese person?
id fug the skelly

my question:
are there any decent open source Linux management interfaces for Citrix's XenServer or Xen Cloud Platform...?Citrix recommends XenCenter which is windows software and its not easily Wine'ed, and the XCP cli is aweful to use... im having to enter 40-something character uuid's twice every time i want to provision a new VM
>>
>>73837
>What's your favorite color?
I like all of the primary (RGB) and secondary (CMY) colors. If I had to choose a single favorite, though, I'd pick pink (or magenta--whatever). As a color that doesn't appear in the rainbow, pink seems deliciously unnatural.

>Do you prefer apples or oranges?
I think I prefer apples, overall.
>A dry apple usually is discernible from the outside, while a dry orange is invisible
>Eating an apple is clean, while eating an orange is messy (regardless of whether you eat it with your fingers or with a knife)

>Would you prefer to fuck (or be fucked be) a skeletally-anorexic person or a morbidly-obese person?
I definitely would prefer the anorexic person. Needing to be extremely gentle to avoid injury doesn't sound nearly as annoying as even being NEAR a morbidly-obese person.

On your phone, do you type with your thumb(s), with your index finger, or with some other digit?
Do you like antialiasing and text smoothing?
Do you prefer to read text with or without serifs?
>>
>>73837
you should have asked the same questions on your pic, OP.
my favorite color is vantablack because it looks like whatever is painted vantablack becomes a hole in spacetime or something.
def s. america over africa because it has beautiful country and no african war lords.
integrals are def cooler than derivatives... derivatives are pretty neat-o too but integration is just the bees knees.
>>73858
>On your phone, do you type with your thumb(s), with your index finger, or with some other digit?
generally use my index if the device accepts swiping text input, otherwise thumb
>Do you like antialiasing and text smoothing?
on static content such as web pages, of course, on video games still yes, but only as long as it is not interfering with my fps too much
>Do you prefer to read text with or without serifs?
never actually paid enough attention to have a preference. I think I would prefer most text to be without serifs, they seem kinda unnecessary

What is your favorite board to post on?
what is your favorite board to lurk?
what is your least favorite board overall?
>>
>>73858
>On your phone, do you type with your thumb(s), with your index finger, or with some other digit?
I usually use my right index finger. (Sometimes I use my right middle or ring finger, if my index is dirty.) I find using thumbs to be quite imprecise.

>Do you like antialiasing and text smoothing?
I thoroughly dislike the blurring that is so euphemistically called "antialiasing" or "smoothing". I turn it off whenever I can, including in the settings of Windows.

>Do you prefer to read text with or without serifs?
I generally prefer sans-serif text. It seems more naturally-flowing, in contrast to the unnecessary complexity that serifs introduce.

>>73859
>What is your favorite board to post on?
Well, I can't say that I really do that much posting, unless I'm boosting a dying thread on a porn board because I want to get more content.

>What is your favorite board to lurk?
In my opinion, /d/ is the most useful of the boards that I frequent. Right-click and "Save link as"...

>What is your least favorite board overall?
I guess I dislike /s4s/. To me, it seems like an even dumber version of /b/. I'm just a newfag, though, so what do I know?
>>
>>73859
>you should have asked the same questions on your pic, OP.
Okay, then. Reproduced for the benefit of others:

Do you prefer the shape of South America or of Africa?
How do you prefer to eat eggs?
Do you prefer integrals or derivatives?
Do you prefer 0.5-mm, 0.7-mm, or 0.9-mm mechanical pencils (or wooden pencils)?
>>
>>73870
>Do you prefer the shape of South America or of Africa?
I think I prefer the shape of Africa.
>Cool Tunisia vs. boring Guyanas
>Cool Tangiers vs. goofy Maracaibo
>Various interesting promontories vs. boring Andean coast
>Cool Somalia vs. goofy Brazil
Et cetera.
>>
>>73870
>How do you prefer to eat eggs?
I'm not crazy about eggs on their own, but fresh hard-boiled eggs in a homemade egg salad can't be beat.
>>
>>73870
I definitely prefer scrambled eggs. I detest half-cooked "soft" eggs, and scrambling an egg allows me to ensure that every little bit is well-cooked.
>>
Do you prefer borders that follow mountain ranges, borders that follow rivers (along one bank or straight down the middle?), or borders that follow arbitrary arcs and straight lines?
Do you prefer map projections that preserve shape (e.g., Mercator), preserve area (e.g., Mollweide), or make a compromise between the two (e.g., Robinson)?
Do you prefer Star Wars or Star Trek?

Have you thought of Bitcoin because of how much 1 is worth

>Have you thought of Bitcoin because of how much one is worth?
In the first place, the worth of a single bitcoin is not a relevant factor in determining whether investment in Bitcoin is wise. Would the USAian dollar suddenly become a better currency if it were redefined so that 1 New Dollar = 100 Old Dollars?
In the second place, I'm not interested in bubbles. Pic related

bitcoin is a very neat and nice investment in this current year of 2007. someday it will/can be worth a lot of money. i think that if a company comes along that's better and doesnt mess up so much, that should take precedence over future bitcoin investments. but what do i know, cryptocurrency is such a distant future topic! haha!
>question:
what is your biggest irrational fear!?
>>
>>73941
>What is your biggest irrational fear?
I've had a thorough dislike of bees and wasps for many years, though I've never been stung. They're too unpredictable to escape reliably.
>>
>>73941
>what is your biggest irrational fear!?
Dogs. I got chased by one when I was a kid, and now even small ones scare the hell out of me.
>>
>>73837
>What's your favorite color?
Blue, because it's sad like me.
>Do you prefer apples or oranges?
I guess oranges, though I dislike all fruits.
>Would you prefer to fuck (or be fucked be) a skeletally-anorexic person or a morbidly-obese person?
An anorexic person, because obese people are a lot more disgusting.

Questions:
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
If you had one day left to live, what would you do?
What's your favorite sex position?
>>
>>73965
>When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an accountant, because I thought that accountants did fun math. After taking an accounting class in high school and seeing a cool bridge exhibition at the Liberty Science Center, I switched to civil engineering. Still, I greatly enjoyed the accounting class.

>If you had one day left to live, what would you do?
I doubt that I would do anything differently. I would be too afraid that the forecast was false and I would have to live with the consequences. Also, some consequences would manifest themselves even before the day was over.
>>
>>73837
>What's your favorite color?
Sky Blue because I get a peaceful happy feeling when looking at it.
>Do you prefer apples or oranges?
If I had to pick oranges but I'm more of a berry guy.
>Would you prefer to fuck (or be fucked be) a skeletally-anorexic person or a morbidly-obese person?
I'm probably the odd man out here but I would pick the morbidly obese one because I like titties and don't feel like grabbing a ribcage for balance.
>>
>>73965
>What's your favorite sex position?
I think the standard missionary-style position looks the most appealing.

>What was your favorite book series when you were a child?
In terms of full novels, I really enjoyed the Geronimo Stilton series. One year, my mom bought us every single book in the franchise that had been released up to that point, and I happily read through at least 75% of it.

>Do you prefer to use tabs or spaces in programming?
I've only ever taken a few "Introduction to Programming" courses, so I'd just say spacing. I used tabs on a recent project, and they made things a lot easier, but I dunno if I'll still use them in the future.

>Do you prefer milk chocolate or dark chocolate?
Not much of a chocolate guy in general, but when I do eat it I only like milk. Dark chocolate is too bitter for my taste, and White chocolate isn't very good at all except in the properly expensive stuff.
>>
What piece of media has affected your life in the most impactful way?
If you had children, how would you raise them in the current world?
What is something you'd like to become more familiar with, but can't, and why?
>>
>>74113
>What was your favorite book series when you were a child?
I greatly enjoyed the Pendragon (fun sci-fi adventure) and Redwall (low-tech combat! FUCKING ATLATLS!!) series. (I unfortunately haven't gotten around to reading the final two or three entries in the Redwall series.) I didn't discover Harry Potter until I was older.

>Do you prefer to use tabs or spaces in programming?
Tabs all the way. I can't imagine why anyone would use spaces, which are more cumbersome to edit while providing absolutely no benefit whatsoever.

>Do you prefer milk chocolate or dark chocolate?
I vastly prefer dark chocolate, since (IMO) milk chocolate is cloying in its sweetness. I haven't actually had any dark chocolate in years, but I think my preferred level was 70% dark.
>>
>>74118
>If you had children, how would you raise them in the current world?
As a person who was (non-religiously) homeschooled through seventh grade before becoming an excellent student in public middle/high school and graduating college with a 3.6 GPA, I guess I would like to become a stay-at-home father and diligently homeschool my children--at least through middle school, and maybe even through high school.
>>
>>74118
>What piece of media has affected your life in the most impactful way?
The Pendragon series impressed upon me that even professionally-published authors can't be trusted to use good English. In that series, the author consistently uses "Ahh!" to denote a scream, even though "Aah!" is the proper onomatopoeia for that circumstance.
This undoubtedly played a part in my later embracement of fanfiction on equal terms with professionally-published literature.

Would you prefer the power to make your BODY (but not your carried items) invisible, or the power to make your CARRIED ITEMS (but not your body; also, mass limit = your body mass) invisible?
>>
>>74358
(Also, of course, you would have selectivity in either of these powers--e.g., make only your head invisible, or make only your backpack and its contents invisible.)
>>
Do you consider fapping to traps to be an indicator of homosexuality? What about fapping to futanari?
>>
>>74546
I would say traps are gay. Futanari, on the other hand, probably isn't, as long as it's futa-on-girl.
>>
>>74546
IMO, it depends on why you're fapping to the trap or the futa.
>Imagining that you're fucking the trap or futa in the ass: gay
>Imagining that you're fucking the futa in the vagina: not gay
>Imagining that you are the trap: not gay
>Imagining that you are the futa: not gay (but possibly transgender)
>Imagining that you're being fucked by the trap or futa in the ass: gay

Don't forget, you can ask questions without being obligated to answer any questions!
>>
On your computer, do you typically use full-width or half-width windows?
How many friends do you have?
In the currency that you typically use, which coin is your favorite?

(Don't forget: Every question has an implied "For what reasons?" tacked onto the end.)

What kind of meat is your favorite? (Beef, chicken, pork, veal, fish...)
