Why does Tony Jones say "deals" when you stand in front of some mushrooms and press A?

I've been thinking about this for nearly 20 years now and still don't get it.

I never played that game. Is it any good?

I wouldn't say it's one of my favorite games ever, but neither would I call it a bad game. I haven't finished it yet so I'm basing this opinion on the first half or so of the game.

I never realized it was a cartoon.

It's pretty decent, although the artwork might be offputting to some. It's basically like a pokemon / dq monsters style game.

I like the artstyle, actually. It kinda reminds me of the Harry Potter GBC games. I will probably check this out.

I liked this game, however it's noticeable that it was rushed. Early in the game you can inspect anything and the main character will have some sort of witty comment but later on interact-able objects are few and far between.

I played this game a loooong time ago and while I beat it I mostly played til just after Vash Naroom 60 times so all my memories involve inspecting everything and getting a chuckle or two

Sad that it didn't carry through the whole game.
