I played Battle Mania 2 the other day and really enjoyed it! Fun gameplay and awesome soundtrack. I never see any threads about it here. What do you guys think about it?

I liked it a lot too. It's pretty much the closest we'll ever get to a Dirty Pair game. So that's cool.

I just googled Dirty Pair and yes it does seem similar. Is there any reason this game doesn't really get talked about here? Especially considering how limited this board is when it comes to topics. I love Final Fantasy and DKC but damn I can only talk about those games so many times.

How new are you? As to answer you question, even the original Trouble Shooter is a bit of an underrated title. I wonder how many people even know it got a sequel and that the sequel was translated at all. Also,Ive seen it come up often enough in shmup threads but single shmups, even popular ones rarely can maintain a thread because of their brevity. bigger threads typically go to bigger games.

>Calling it "battlemania 2" instead of it's actual title
>posting the bootleg "genesis" cartridge instead of the original megadrive cover
Disgusting

I actually liked it. It's not great by any mean but it's enjoyable imo.
Anyway, it's now a dirty pair thread even though I can't post that much dirty pair stuff it's all on the external HDD I left home.

Did you forget the ottoman empire was allied with Germany, and that hitler preferred muslims to christians because the latter are too passive and tolerant?

Cool game, i always recommend it in Megadrive threads but i've never made a specific thread about it.

There is a shooter thread for Mega Drive/ Genesis games here: >>4892680

Love this game and the original Trouble Shooter/ Battle Mania. Great Forgotten World -like clones with an interesting twist.

Game has an awesome soundtrack too!

The reverse fire mechanic is fun and all. I just wish it was two player.

It's my favorite Vic Tokai game. Previously it was Decap Attack. Has anyone played Socket?

s'okay. It's a bit unique for what was essentially a Sonic clone.
