Why don't you just hide the titlebars with an AHK script? Also, you should really get a nice windows theme or something, what's the point of posting here all the time if it's just stock with some parts edited in paint? It's not that hard to make Windows look decent ya know

for me vertical/horizontal space isn't really an issue, and if I really need the extra 3 lines of text I'd get from not having a bar/gaps as well as the extra character I'd get on each line, I'll just put it in fullscreen.
>>
>>2078053
If I got rid of my bar and gaps I'd gain like maybe 3 lines of text and 1-2 characters per line. I don't really ever need it, and if I did I'd just go fullscreen. Not really an inconvenience.

bspwm allows control over outer gaps (padding) on each side separately
i3-gaps doesn't, so the outer gaps on the left, right, top and bottom are all the same, which leads to this >>2078333
you cannot have a fine setup with large outer gaps and small inner gaps like this >>2078350 using i3-gaps

I've used a bunch of SIMBL plugins at various times, but desu most of them I end up ditching. I was trying something with the dock for a while and was messing w/ cdock, but I just can't get into it.

have you messed with ThemeEngine at all? The documentation is piss poor but if you're willing to have to possibly system restore, you can find the right objects to edit and make most default osx apps look cool. I once had an almost entirely dark finder that matched my terms. Don't have a screenshot though I don't think.

Here's what I have documented:
All from SystemAppearance.car

A: WindowFrame_WindowControlButtons
B: WindowFrame_WindowShapeEdges
C: ScrollBarClassic_Track
D: ScrollBarClassic_ColumnResizer
E: WindowFrame_WindowTitlebarSeparator
>>
>>2078684
There was a user on DeviantArt, k-profiler, that modified some system files directly to achieve a themed OS. He hasn't updated it in almost four years.

I think what he was using was ThemeEngine. A few years ago I attempted to modify some .car files but something went wrong and my UI broke, leading me to restore the UI and OS through single user mode.

The documentation for WinBuddy state that it's possible to edit the colors and border width in xCode and then just compile it, which does work. So it's probably possible to find SIMBL plugin that turns the UI into dark mode and then modify it however you want.

I'm unsure about monochrome terminal colors, but otherwise I'm pretty happy. Suggestions?
>>
>>2079385
imo the monochrome terminals look really good but they don't go well together with the colourful background in bing. i would just look for some monochrome css for the sites you use most frequently. also, good taste in anime girls.
>>
>>2079397
Thank you :)
I think they look very nice too but programming gets slightly more difficult. I suppose I should try to find a middle ground and just adjust the difference between the black levels of each terminal color.

And thanks :) I don't have a startpage set up yet hence bing but its on its way :)

the keybinds for everything are in an array of structures in config.h, you can change them. The third value in each of those key structures is the function it has. Mod + right click + drag to move, mod + left click + drag to resize.

Not that anyone gives a shit but I want to rant. W7 finally began giving me issues. TLS refused to connect with some programs making it impossible to use them. It also wouldn't patch FF14 which is the only game I play anymore. Since I had to do a fresh install to fix the FF14 problem, I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to W10. Fuck Windows, I wish FF14 ran nicely on Linux. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to make Window's themes so I can fix the color of Explorer.

I disagree. Literally any Linux distro > 2000 > 7 > XP > 10 > Every other version not below this > 8 > Vista. I have a few programs that won't run on XP, 7 broke down on me and now I have trust issues with it, 2000 won't run my game.
