Usually I do a theme, but I thought for this thread I'd just post some general favorites with no theme to them. Feel free to post any favorites of your own, but as usual I'll request that we stick to real photographs only, no anime.link to last thread, "warm weather" theme>>7407107

Well I saved pretty much all of these. Thank you based Oligarch.
>>7419388nice digits OP,Beautiful thread as well, thanks for sharing, saved couple of them :)
>>7419662Holy shit this

>>7421592ik this isnt a wallpaper, but its the cutest and most comfy duck ive ever seen
Here's some OC
>>7422201Damn. Not sure why it posted sideways, for me it's not sideways. That's annoying. Gonna try to repost.
>>7422212I know quite a few of these are more suited for mobile wallpapers, if you want some comfy ones enjoy. Took most of these last year. I don't take photos much anymore but I thought these captured the comfy vibe pretty well.
>>742222015/15 (I really like this one, feels extra comfy for some reason)
>>7421078the first wallpaper I saved this year. really nice.
Half of these will be amazing wallpapers if if were not for this shitty resolutions.
>>7422614Post some better ones then, slick.
literally saved like 100 papes from this thread so far oo so based thx desu
>>7419703>>7420336>>7419391>>7419398>>7419439Any of these in 1920x1080?
What makes any of these “comfy”? Is comfy just code for out of focus, self-indulgent photos on expired film?
>>7423101I think it's something about film that mimics the way I associate memories and feelings. When I remember things in my life the memories I get are usually sort of just still images. And the muted colors and graininess of film help with evoking a mood that kind of relates to the memories. The foreground focus that a lot of the pictures has helps with that too. Plus I think that's reminiscent of the way that when you're very relaxed or mildly inebriated your eyes can sometimes slide in and out of focus. I think it all combines to give the images a very nostalgic feeling and a definite mood.
>>7420361I never thought someone could get such a cool pic in mexico city subway
>>7423111You are my favorite poster of /wg/ by far and i can see why, i can relate on what you said i get the same kind of feeling about film pics.
>>7419388>>7419391>>7419397>>7419400What kind of camera were these photos taken with? Don't know much about photography but I have a feeling they're not digital, they're scans aren't they?
>>7425482I have no idea what kind of camera unfortunately, but most all of the pictures I post were shot on film.Although interestingly I took this picture myself on a DSLR and just tried my damnedest to make it look like film with editing.
From Bladerunner, so not quite like the rest but I still get the same feeling from it. I liked that scene. Something in me logs for a solitary retreat akin to that of Deckard, far away from the rest of civilization, but at the same time I feel like I would deeply regret not having made the effort of properly engaging with others. It will not matter in the end.
>>7419388Thanks based oligarch. Whenever I see one of your threads up I always wait until a night when I’m actually comfy on my couch and have an hour or so to actually look through the pics. This might be my favorite thread yet. I saved at least 100.
Thank you Oligarch I always look forward to your threadI always wondered if you were a russian billionaire doing this for fun
I'm getting a Balkan feel from a lot of these. Bulgarian I think? Thanks for sharing man. This might be the most pics i've ever saved from a single thread.
>>7426731I am a Russian oligarch, but I don't do this for fun. I made my first billion by trading dank pape futures.>>7426833The ones I post come from all over the world really.
Thank you so much Oli-san. Only been able to witness a few of your threads, but they have always been, without fail, the best threads, with unbelievably consistent tasteful, high quality papes. I've saved too many to count from this thread alone, so I can't wait to see what you post next <3
>>7419388I was just lurking as I do every few times a year for new wallpapers and I'm very glad I fond this threadFantastic stuff guy, your photos are class
>>7421593thanks for this lovely duck anon
Thanks to this thread I just doubled the size of my comfy folder.
Some old photos of mine.
>>7423265Idling a little high there
>>7429663gotta get some revs for the picture
Well that's the image limit I guess. For the next thread I'm thinking of doing a comfy interiors theme - comfy rooms, homes, things like that unless anybody has a better suggestion.
>>7429745this was easily the most pics i’ve ever saved from one thread. you’re a fucking legend
>>7429745Maybe comfy summer
>>7429745wooded nature always works. maybe a thread with a New England theme
>>7429745comfy city apartments
>>7429745OP I would really appreciate it if you could throw your papes up in a mega. These are some really high quality threads.
>>7429745sounds good my man thanks for sharing
>>7429745Actually with it being summer I think I'm going to do a theme of "exotic locations" and "travel" I'll save the interiors theme for another time. >>7430032The previous thread was a summer/sunny weather theme.>>7430086I might do a "woods" theme sometime. I don't know if I have enough specific New England themed papes for that to be a thread>>7430140Another good theme idea that I'll probably do at some point>>7430213Can't be bothered. If you search my name in the /wg/ archive you should be able to find all the papes I've posted in the last year under this name.
