A sound track by the title `My Joy' does not figure in the list of tracks used for that movie though, Where might the sound come from?
>>

"my joy" is the band's name, not the song. but the band is russian, so you'll need to translate that.

that's a lot of variations on one folk song!

the end of that one with the stereo effects is also very mind altering. good fit for that clip

Just finished watching this. Unfortunately it was pretty bad. Nothing really Lovecraftian about it either, other than the basic theme of a cult worshiping things older than time and some monsters with tentacles.

Big disappointment.
>>
>>1914770
The monster effects were good though.
>>
>>1914779
Yea they where alright but everything else was bad. Not worth watching a 90 minute movie for 10 minutes worth of good effects. This is the biggest reaction you get from witnessing an eldritch abomination that should rightfully drive you to the brink of madness as your entire perception of reality is irrevocably shattered.

Aside from that, it's very easy to learn how to create webm's from videos.

I thought the movie was pretty good. Narrator was pretty sweet, light on the Lovecraft, heavy on the survival horror. Plus Knives Chau is pretty hot in scrubs as a scream queen.

I'm too lazy/too much of a scrub to figure out how to turn this into a webm with an appropriate filesize, so here, just take this YouTube link if you want something good and unexpectedly Lovecraftian.

Refrained from watching the last clips (second and third, respectively) because I was concerned they'd spoil too much. Am I wrong? Certainly watching those two anyway.

That's literally the full length films.
They're about 6 minutes long.
>>
>>1917612
Shame. Not really surprising considering how the mainstream is interested in memes and not the real deal.
The second part of Blight strikes me as a bit odd given that there's about a quarter of the roof missing, but I guess it's not that big of a deal.
>>
>>1917776
I think it was implying either the dilapidation of the house, or the extent to which the "plant" had spread
>>
>>1917858
I meant how it potentially defeats the point of trying to lock something with unknown abilities behind a padlock. But, with how things develop later, it's believable.

Just watched The Void, and that "hell" body scene in the 3rd act is top 3 scariest things I've seen.
>>
>>1914798
The sheriffs reaction is believable. A confused gunfire shot and just standing there frozen.
The officer on the other hand feels like completed a course on eldritch emergencies: lowered gun to avoid madness-induced friendly fire, avoided any direct physical contact by using kicks, and minimized visual exposure by focusing on objective and closing the door behind him

As much as I like this song, I hate how high her voice is. Is there a version where someone isn't straining to hit the high notes, or just shifts the key to accommodate their own voice instead of going into full falsetto?

This webm by itself looks like a final project for film school. I've gotten some pretty gruesome facial effects by burning masks and allowing them to partially melt before adding (dis)coloration to them. It looks especially indie with the flare-gun gunshot at the end.

>>1919050
You always lower someone's gun if you're planning to run in front of them, which he did because of the "FUCKING HELP ME GODDAMMIT" coming out of the victim while the shots were being fired.

He avoided physical contact because it had appendages; same reason you instinctively don't try to punch an animal's open mouth. That thing can grab you if you try to touch it.

The other thing is because story.
