They have been neighbours with the ancient greeks, the etruscans, the roman empire, and yet, their language is the least studied of the indo european languages, their history and folklore is totally supressed....

What the hell is going on

Albanians are the descendants of Pelasgians, from whom the ancient greeks got their gods. Most of the greek gods dont have meaningful etymologies in the greek language whereas they do in the ALbanian language.

For example, "Amalthea" is the name of the goat that zeus drank milk from when he was an infant.

In albanian Ambel-dhia means "Sweet-shegoat"

In greek there is no etymology.

This is just the tip of an iceberg you never knew about

Athena also is an Albanian word, "e thena" which in Albanian means "the one who speaks". Athena is the goddess of Wisdom in Greek mythology.

I mean, their culture is very similar to their neighboring countries so it's no wonder it's not talked about. Small countries are often overlooked. They're not being "suppressed".

Not entirely correct, though. You see similar god names in all indo-european descendants. Tyr/Tiwaz/Zeuw/Zeus.
>>
>>20931529
The word Amalthea actually does have etymology in Greek and it isn't difficult to find

>Tyr/Tiwaz/Zeuw/Zeus
not that shit again Tyr=Tiwaz=Zeuw(wtf)=Zeus
each of them is different

Not Albanian poster, but Tiwaz -> TýR is correct in a sense, you have to understand the languages and how they evolved. For example; Tívar = gods (plural), which is what Tiwaz means. Tý/Tí is simply singular for 'god' and TýR is nominative for the title, which also doubled as a name for the god in question.

Zeus however is pronounced Zævs, older Zæws, and I don't really see the relation.

I mean, all European gods are from the same source, but likenesses are not always lingual ones.

Fun fact: Nephilim in Albanian "ne filim" means "in the beginning"

I'd like to know what the black and white stripes mean. They are used by freemasons (chessboard) and you can see them in Pharaoh's mask or pillars.
