Disney Star Wars was mortally wounded with The Last Jedi, but it took until Rise of Skywalker for it to finally die from its injury. They can keep making new Star Wars, but now they are trapped forever in prequel hell because they have so thoroughly salted the earth on any future timeline progression that they can never advance the timeline again or set anything during the sequel era. There is just nothing left to worth with there, its all bad.

The Mandalorian was a brief bright spot, but then it got shit too. Andor was excellent, but we all know that was an anomaly and there is a zer0 % chance that they can capitalize on what made Andor good in anything else. It can't save them.

Disney is barreling towards the inevitable treading-water state of just straight-up remaking the Original Trilogy and retelling the story of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader to replace the Lucas versions. A move which the Star Wars fanbase will reject.

The second one isn't even classified as anime. So I won't be watching this third one, as it's bound to be rubbish.
