For example, we can tell Akane is goofy, Yayoi is a crybaby nerd, Reika is serious but maybe a bit of an airhead, etc from what they say and how they say it. From what I remember, the Smile characters often contribute their own ideas to a conversation and there was more reaction to what the others were saying. Apart from the dialogue, we learn Nao is a bit of a glutton from the travel episode, afraid of bugs from the shrinking episode, Akane and Nao get competitive in the beach episode, etc. We learn more about the characters by putting them in various situations. Meanwhile from what I remember most Idol episodes revolve around fansa, Kaito, and maybe some lunch/club episodes at school||||I also think the lack of adversity makes it hard to showcase the grit or power of friendship that I consider one of the best parts of precure. Take the Brian and Akane episode as an example, where Akane is scared to see Brian off before her friends giver her a little push and they all chip in however they can to get her to the airport. The Reika foreign exchange episode where the whole team is unsure of what to do, Reika deciding to stay or go, and the team wanting to be together but not able to say it. As an aside, I don't think the Idol team has been pushed that hard in many of their fights.||I don't think the Idol fights have been particularly good, between the lack of h2h exchanges and it feels like most of them are just using their stock footage moves in response to the enemy gimmick, then finisher. Also, Uta's super form being a recolor with the same finisher is really disappointing. Hopefully next year is better

Delicious Party Review 01!I was really hoping taking a break would allow me to shore up these summaries, but guess not. Also I've actually seen the first 10-12 episodes so there isn't much new this time around.Summary for the anons that need it, part 1: Welcome to Oishii town where everyone obsesses over food so hard everything is dedicated to making and consuming food in the most amazing ouroboros. At the local middle school a wild Yui tears across the football field, jumping over her competition and sinking the soccer ball into the goal. Afterwards a girl wants to beg Yui to join, but the others stop her as they point out Yui is an athlete for higher and her pay? Riceballs. Which she consumes a full 3 sets in less than a minute. In a far off fairy kingdom, the king and queen send out their strongest warrior: the series' second biggest fuckboy. After some opening credits, Yui explores town for more stores to eat at, but all the mexican stores are complete out; the snake having long since ate its cloaca. Mr Fuckboy Mari has made it to the park and collapses after exploring a small Japanese town. One of Mari's fairies takes off to look for help. Help is shortly found as the fairy almost causes an accident, leading to a meet cute between Yui and a chinese delivary girl; while some rich Ojou watches from afar. Kome the fairy goes to rest after Yui having saved the day, only for Yui to follow. After a short freakout, the fairy leads Yui to Mari, and Yui drags the passed out fuckboy to her home so he can slave away for her family. Turns out Mari knows a bit about the extra special fairies Yui has been seeing, but wont explain more than what they are. That's when Yui's future boyfriend appears and announces he's going to get some Omurice without Yui, only for Yui to be released from work so she can get some herself. Quickly submitting to Yui's power, Takumi takes her out for lunch.

Mari does what he can, but Yui still ends up captured. At this point Kome appears and wants to help, and with her memories of meeting her first recipipi, the power of precure is granted. One henshin later, we get the classic Cure discovering her powers as she tosses the MoTW around. After delivering a 500Kcal punch, Cure Precious has a cleansing snack with the giant frying pan. Afterwards the Recipipi gets scanned into Precious's watch. Turning to Mari, Precious asks what the hell a precure is, only for the fuckboi to pretend its a secret. FinPrecious really does have a wonderful design. Probably one of my favorites as far as a lead cure.

Someone said that there was a shot of Zukyun and Kiss running in for a kick that was reused and I went looking and couldn't find it but I still think that's probably the entire purpose of it.
