They wanted to raid the bases and beat the bosses before the good guys, so that they could change the rules about the boss leaving if they get beaten.Violet is trying to help Ortega (his imaginary friend) while Scarlet is working with Eri (her actual friend) to beat the rebels. Cassiopeia also supports this as the rebels are the more immediate problem, but he/she still wants the bosses defeated.

His methods aside, he was a well-meaning person.Sou was intoxicated by Eternatus' poison, but he felt bad after waking up and apologized straight away. Schilly is also an enabler so there's that too
