In retrospect, this wasn't as big or as bad of a deal as people made it out to be, it was just kind of lame.The trouble is that the chapter dropped the same weekend as the SnK finale AND the last Eva Rebuild movie. There was already a shitstorm blowing on the board, multiple shitstorms, and Kaguya becoming a whore just happened to be caught up in the shitstorming and get blown into a bigger outrage than it probably would have become if it had occurred in a vacuum.

I didn't believe the spoiler image of the page when it came out. Not because it was too unbelievable or shocking, but because it leaked on MONDAY, several days before spoilers usually come out and an entire week before the issue was supposed to be in stores.Also the art looked fake with Shirogane's arm being weird and the scaling being back, but turns out that Aka just sucked as usual.

The fact that her mother was revealed to be a prostitute only reinforced this meme.Overall, the scene itself was deserving of ridicule. However, the larger-scale meltdowns that were happening at the time definitely amplified its effect.
