You can draw comparisons between Stars and Pretty Rhythm but again that ignores a lot of what they do differently. The Friends/Himitsu similarities are funny to point out but they're all surface level things which is why the don't carry much weight beyond being a silly coincidence. This was a weird episode; Inori is supposed to be the focus of it but she does nothing to solve the conflict, she just stands there and everything solves itself. It did more for Gumi and Nana character's than for Inori's.
