Ran into this Slavjank gem yesterday and couldn't get enough. Punishingly difficult, with a gameloop designed around absolute resource scarcity / you're not a hero and will get yourself killed, and with a simulationist HEMA combat system translated into JRPG turn-based, with both short and long term fatigue tracking, 54+ weapons with unique movestes (e.g. halbswert and mordhau for some 2hand swords for example), and sheer depth I've never seen in any other Ren'Py implementation, and finally some old regular rpg and dating sim mechanics and bildungsroman / zero to murderhobo narrative built in.
Game ended quite abruptly one run but I think the developer is making a sequel / DLC or something to be released soon, which is good, since I'm starving for more.

Dunno if anyone else here liked it as much as I did, or has recommendations for similar things. Seems so obscure I can't find it on any archived 4chan posts, or even non random-screenshot images of the game larger than 400x280 pixels.

It's fun, and the scenes are decent enough, but it feels like the dev is already out of ideas for it. He's already said every character is going to 'corrupted' and there won't be any other content. Problem with that is half the characters have nothing to corrupt - they're already down to fuck the MC whenever and wherever already by the end of their first progression stage.

The red fox girl is the focus of the next update so I'm withholding judgement until I see how he plans to 'corrupt' someone who has nowhere else to go, but I'm not expecting great things. Game is also going to take at least a year to finish at the rate he's going at.
