I am trying to figure out what would be messing with my gut. Basically, almost every morning I have really mushy bowel movements. I almost never have one torpedo shaped bowel movement. Its always uncomfortable and mushy. But never watery I guess like diarrhea. I don't know what my gut isn't getting enough of or maybe too much of? What I typically eat in a day1. BreakfastUsually scrambled eggs and a sausage(cafeteria tier though so probably low quality).2. LunchChicken thighs and rice with some vegetables. I wonder if its how I prepare the food that could be fucking with me though. Basically I throw the veggies in with the chicken thighs in the oven, then when cooked, I remove the thighs and then toss the cooked veggies into the rice pot along with any drippings that came from the chicken thighs. Is that high fat content? 3. DinnerUsually a protein shake and cereal or something. Overall, I only ever notice any real gastric distress in the morning. Never any other time. After the morning bowel movement, I feel great. I actually stopped drinking coffee also to see if it helped my stomach feel better and it sort of did but I still have the same problem. I am just trying to figure out what I could do to sort of solid up the movements. Its always always mushy and I don't know why or what my gut is doing. Help.

Eat more fruit.Your last meal at night is the cause of stomach problems the morning after. Cereal is slop. Protein shakes are a very new addition to the himan diet and are not harmless.
>>32334932What does fruit do in the diet? I will try that though.
>>32334245Could be stomach inflammation, search up gastritis diet, and follow it for a week, see if that improves your bowel movements.
>>32334245Fibre.Undigestable fibre, either from food choices or supplements, passes through you, but forms a kind of skeleton for the shit to congeal around, making turds.
>>32334962It has everything. Fibre, sugar (the good kind), minerals, vitamins, bioflavinoids, etc. There was a time when humans got most of their calories from fruit...before agriculture. It is the food your body is most suited to. I'm not saying go all out 100% fruitarian but try and make one of your 3 main meals, a fruit heavy meal and see the changes.
>>32334245>along with any drippings that came from the chicken thighsholy shit dude what are you doing? imagine coating your insides with chicken grease everyday and then wondering why your shit is runny.
>>32334245What's in your protein shake? Do you make it yourself?I found out the hard way I had an intolerance to sucralose from it being added into the diet shakes I was drinking. If you're using premixes then try cutting those out and/or replacing them with something like tea for a few weeks to see if that makes a difference.
