How to get over this, I want to travel but I'm afraid that I will book the flight but then my card is declined by the hotel and I'm stuck with just the flight or vice versa or showing up to a new country and card not working at the ATM or something else going wrong

>>33925048Reserve your room in advance. They will charge a fee to your card. This way you know your card won't be declined.But more generally, credit cards companies WANT you to borrow money. If your card is declined, you call them and get to ask "WTF?!?!" and then they clear your card up.Note that this assumes your card doesn't have some issue that would legitimately be declined. But even then, if you know you have credit available, you can point out to the lady on the phone that you're in fucking some other country and you need to pay for a room could you unblock my card and we sort this out when I get back from my trip?
