dear 4chan, today i broke my sobriety streak and relapsed. it feels great to be drunk again, but i know this isn't going to be good for me long term. what ever should i do? 27F btw
why do you drink? have you thought about going to a therapist about it? I would not recommend AA, that episode of Dexter taught me those things don't work if the audience is horny for the speaker
>>33927915termperance > abstinance
>>33929104Depends on the person. Abstinence is probably more realistic for someone with a genuinely addictive relationship to alcohol
You should put yourself in situations where it is not easily possible for you to relapse. While you may have failed to keep your sobriety, I am very proud of you that you have the wisdom even while drunk to seek help. This is a journey. Progress is not always a straight line. You must keep yourself away from your triggers.
>>33927915How long was your streak and how long have you considered yourself addicted? I'm 15 months sober after at least 10 failed attempts at quitting. You need to stop again as quickly as possible before you settle back into the routine of constantly being drunk.
Embrace it. Just drink with your friends, and don't aim to become 100% sober.
>>33927915>27F btwYou will never be a woman you sick faggot
>>33929123True, you're right
>>33929104Maybe if you didn't kill your brain with drugs and alcohol you would be able to spell either of those words.
