Now keep this in mind, I bathed properly, used deodorant, my clothes were clean (I cleaned them two days ago) but it nevertheless happened.Apparently the t-shirt i used had a fabric problem, it was hydrophilic it trapped sweat like a sponge. I didn't even know that was possible. Then naturally it smelled a bitWhere I live it's socially accepted to humiliate people in public if they have even a bit of body odor. I had a normal conversation with the girl, but as the bus got crowded and hotter I started sweating and well... it happened. She became closed off afterwards.I think there's no coming back from this no? Lol
You’re overthinking it. Everyone sweats, and most people don’t notice unless it’s extreme. If she’s already pulling back, give her space and keep interactions normal and chill.Next time pick fabrics that breathe, like cotton, and maybe carry a small deodorant or wipes if you’re worried. One sweaty day isn’t a permanent scar—don’t let it kill your confidence.
>>33929356>You’re overthinking itDon't miss the part about public humiliation. Basically old women standing next to you and indirectly telling you that you are nasty and a bad person.I could smell je sweaty tshirt so it was somewhat noticeable...> If she’s already pulling back, give her space and keep interactions normal and chill.I've been thinking of giving her a simple hello and leaving it at that next time.>One sweaty day isn’t a permanent scarIt wasn't just sweaty, for whatever reason the tshirt simply kept accumulating more and more sweat jna way normal tshirts don't. I dropped that one to the trash.I think she backed off after smelling a bit

>>33929990Forgot to give op the courtesy of a human response, so here we go:>>33929350You’re probably overthinking it. If anything she was more turned off by your negative reaction to the criticism of strangers than anything else. If she even was turned off by that specifically to begin with. In short, don’t worry about it too much. Keep moving as if it was a neutral date.If this is something that sticks in your head, go to a sauna or do some heavy cardio a day beforehand next time. Sweat is moderately antibacterial and any dirt/oil stuck in your pores will get pushed out as well. The fewer bacteria and less bacteria food the less you will smell as a whole.
