long story short i made some poor finical decision with my ex and she left me out to dry. i have a game collection worth about 60k and i was thinking about cashing out to pay everything off have a little left over. problem is its kinda like something ive been working on for years and while i think about the financial freedom...i feel like i might miss the fun of the chase and collecting in general...should i sell the collection or get out of the debt naturally?
>>33929830These games are just going to go up in price and collecting them is really, really fun.Like, I miss collecting games and stuff from my childhood but I live a nomad life and I can't collect things anymore. Just keep them, they are worth more than the money.
>>33929830Now is likely to be the best time to sell. If you're considering it I wouldn't wait around too much longer.
>>33929871i was thinking the same thing everything kinda exploded recently. one of the big problems is i dont know about how to go about it becasuse i just dont want to sell it like one game at a time.
>>33929878U gotta grow up man. Sell all ur games, pay off ur debt and grow up. You expect to invite a girl over and get laid when she see's your massive video game collection. Get real bro.
>>33929830>i have a game collection worth about 60kThat is an awful confession to have to make.
>>33929878If you don't want to sell them one-by-one, see if there is an old game store around that would be interested in looking at it. Or you could talk to sellers at game conventions and see if they'd be interested in buying your collection. Last one I spoke with told me they would give be the average sale price on ebay in the last 90 days or something for each item.
>>33929830start with nothing and continue brother, the death of the previous is the birth of what is to come - see the utility in being able to get out of 60k debt pretty quickly and move on it
All the people saying the opposite of what I said. Literally every time for 10 years straight.
>>33929830You should sell them. Video games aren't for you anymore. You could use that money for something.
>>33929830If I were you, I'd sell up and move on.
im actually making phone calls about selling it...alot of stores are kinda like we cant afford a 60k collection or say they would over less then half value...im going to keep trying.
>>33929830you will regret selling it, 100%. however, regret is a natural part of life, so do yourself.
>>33929830Superfamily. What is the point if you don’t have a point? Sell now!!! Nobody will care about that shit within 90 days.
>>33931570first thing to remember and be realistic about is that no matter what value you attach to it, your collection is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it
>>33929830Sell and keep collecting.
