So I'm in my final year of high school right now, this year is all I have cuz next year the start will all be full of finals and college entrance tests and then I will be leaving for college(I will 100 percent move to a different state for college) but I'm just scared when I think about how I will have to start all over again and leave all the friendships behind. I even had a crush we met 2 years ago I'm friends with her and i know I will never move past that but all of this is stressing me out how I will most likely never see her again after that cuz no way in hell we end up at the same college and not even her but life in general is moving too fast amidst all of this I'm second guessing my decision to pursue engineering as well, what if I in 10 years time end up in a place where I regret everything.

entrance exams are the easy part. Just got the results on mine and I was accepted on both colleges I applied to

The difference is I get to stay within, I guess the equivalent of state where I'm from, so I still get to keep my social circles and overall way of life.

peace be with you anon

Leaving high school isn't "growing up" lmao. You're still basically a dumb kid until you're 25 or more. Difference is you have more money

I get it but you could still read the rest of my post instead of pointing out one small thing
>>

me too bro me too
>>
you will meet new ppl
you will have a new crush
choosing a careeer is tricky
unless you have rock solid love for money or already found your passion its a lot of trial and error

None of these are actual problems. Think about the things you were worried about when you were 12 and how silly they seem to you now and realize that literally everything you've listed here will seem equally silly after a couple of years. Try to enjoy life more in your teens and 20s, you'll always have plenty of time to worry about meaningless shit later in life.

You should be scared of growing up there is nothing good waiting for you
>>
>>34554708
No one actually grows up. Most people just pretend their entire lives. Others were never children to begin with.

High-school is gay. You're around people you have to be around not people you wanna be around. Going out in the world and building new relationships with people based on the things you like from all over is amazing.

>leaving behind a girl
this is the first adult blackpill. you will meet many wonderful girls whom you will never see again. if you see an opportunity, make sure to take it (ask her out immediately)
>>
>>34554708
>second guessing engineering
its okay to not have your path in life figured out now. your major does not define you. it is just a slip of paper you need for your job. you will know whether or not you actually care about that major by how much you care about finishing it. the only way to know if you like or dont like something is to try it

Life is always going to suck if you are ugly and awkward. If you are attractive and charismatic, you have nothing to worry about. You will continue having great friends and relationships. Nobody actually matures past highschool. Everything stays the same.
>>
>>34554708
Lmao don't worry, the adult world is exactly like highschool, the same daily routine, the bullshit social dynamics, the gossip, just with taxes and a bigger classroom. You think adults are mature? Lol lmao
>>
Yeah bro i feel the same
>>
>>34554708
You are overthinking. You will likely not end up where you think you are going and it will be fine. Then you die.
>>
>>34554708
That sucks bro. Just remember, the only constant in life is constant change. You will have so many chapters in your life. Unfortunately, to start a new chapter means ending the previous one. Yes it's scary, yes it sucks sometimes, yes you may have regrets. But at the same time you will look back and think about how much you have grown and how many new life experiences you have had that will make it all worth it. My only advice is to follow your heart and answer the call to adventure.

Ts is exactly how I feel
