How do I go about this anons? I've been struggling with anxiety my whole life which is the reason why I fear of getting a job. But many people say that a job while it won't completely eliminate anxiety it will at least mitigate it. But even with that I still feel anxious about working. Any tips?
>>
jobs are great for anxious people because they fill your day with things to do, give you some purpose, and pay you. get the job. it’s incredibly important to becoming a part of society
>>
Get a job delivering things. Very minimal social contact. Especially from coworkers since you'll be outside in your vehicle 95% of the time.

Trucking is the only job that has helped alleviate my mental issues but I have absolutely no life because of it. I would just say focus on doing whatever job it is really well and then external thoughts do not have tome to take hold.

Any new job, especially if you have a gap without working, will give you a bunch of anxiety on the first day.
It'll be dramatically less so on day two. By the end of the first week, you'll be comfortable. But it takes a while to get used to giving up your whole day to being at work. That gets easier if you really accept "this is a work day, work is what I'm doing with the day" rather than watching the clock thinking you'll fit a normal day in after.

Don't do this. The social exposure will have you comfortable interacting with lots of different people in no time. Low social jobs are bad for your psychological health and social skills.
