I'd like to buy a netbook in 2026
my current options are
>Panasonic Let's Note RZ series (stopped production years ago)
>Asus EeePC and similar "classic" netbook series (stopped production even more years ago)
>Chinkshit (lol)
>Tablets (lmao)
is there anything, ANYTHING on the market that's a x86 laptop with 10-inch (or smaller) screen?

The only thing that I've not checked properly are x86 chromebooks, as they appear to be at minimum 12 inches in diameter
>>
basically only gpd still bothers

falls under "chinkshit"
also aren't their systems just Steam 'eck clones that are more "PC" than Deck?

if GPD is considered chinkshit and you don;t like the idea of a tablet, then yes, your options are a big fat 0.
I went down this rabit hole not too long ago, I landed on a dell 5056 2 in 1.

desu my main problem with GPD is that they are GAMING systems, which automatically implies terrible battery life + insane price for hardware I don't really need to browse the Web

sad that number of actual netbooks is 0 in 2026
>>

sorry, dell 5179 is the one I got, I needed 8 GB ram

unfortunately there is so much overlap between what people want from a small laptop and what people can just do on a phone. I know mobile saleman that live out of their phone, sign contracts and write docs with just a bluetooth keyboard. hard to pass up considering that they fit in your pocket.
I think the time we live in is very wonderous, powerful and modular low-volume electronics are cheap and plentiful, personally I lean into the chinkshit.

I just find normal "desktop" activities on Android to be tedious to do, even when they are basic
>I think the time we live in is very wonderous, powerful and modular low-volume electronics are cheap and plentiful
and yet barely anything is supplied in the category that once ruled the industry
>I lean into the chinkshit
Chuwi "minibook" one Anon suggested on /wsr/ with NO USB-A PORTS doesn't look like a good idea, while other chinktops barely have ANYTHING about them on the English Internet

You should kys

terrible battery life WHEN GAMING
