Now that it's getting chilly outside, these fucking things have infested my kitchen. Sure, it's not pristine, but i keep it clean, no food scraps laying about etc, and i still find at least three of the fucking things trapped each morning.
Anyway, i read an urban legend about trapping one, feeding it nothing but other mice and releasing it as some sort of cannibal mouse hunter, does anybody have experience with this or is it just bullshit?

You're thinking of rats, feed the mice birth control for two years to get their civilisation to collaps

A rodent is a rodent, it's not like they're vegetarian. Or will they simply go back to whatever they did pre-cannibal prison if they get released?

So birth control, any special kind and just chuck em in tight spaces? Wouldn't want my dogs to eat them.

learn how to make a mouse bucket trap with a 5 gallon bucket, there are diy tutorials on youtube

Cats attract mice while making them try harder to stay out of sight retard. Mice are like bugs. Squishing a roach a day won’t do anything.

>my cat is such a good mouser, he kills a mouse a day!
>t. has a growing mouse infestation
>mice that die have toxo

i hear live trapping, desexing and putting them back in your house also works
>>
They are eating crumbs out of your toaster.
>>
>>5073104
How are they getting in? They’re a common species in most areas impacted by human settlement. You need to block their path into your house. Then use a glue trap or two to get any inside.

This is what I do with your mom except for the "de-" part.

OP should live trap them and breed the tamest, selecting for demeanour & coat colour for 1,000 generations.
ALSO in parallel:
select for aggressive, strong mice to breed efficient cannibal killer 4 experiment

Boomer-tier absence of compassion. Dare I say psychopathy.

Rats & mice are pests and should be killed.
Anyway, there will be like million of them next season anyway
>>
>>5073104
Please... leave them alone. They're just little friends

DIY stupid question thread is that a way, it's best suited to this subject
>>

They should be given an instantaneous death if they're that much of a problem to you, not drowning
>>
>>5073104
Snap traps work pretty good, they like peanut butter.
>>
>>5073104
isnt that a deer mouse?
>>
>>5077311
Drowning is the mercy. Otherwise they'd rip themselves to shreds.
>>
Glue traps also work pretty good if you're ok with killing them after they've been struggling for a while
