no my parents were bad alcoholics and addicted to crack to the point they had to sell 10 acres of property just to pay off the debts.idk if youve ever grown up around crack addicts put theres a lot of fighting and screaming and throwing things. it wasnt until i was 30 years old did i start to really realize how bad things were in my childhood and the person it had made me become and still was and i took charge and said no more and started making changes and standing up for myself to the people in my family who wanted me to remain down and running drugs for them.i said no more than one of my brothers moved in and started serving my dad again and doing other legally questionable things and telling the cops is was me when they show up to ask questions. so i stood up for myself and said no more and he became violent so i had him removed by the police, but he kept showing up to "visit" my dad and i told him if he did anything to my dog i would end his life and thats when my mom showed up freaking out to defend him and smashed out my bedroom window (getting glass all over my dog) i stood up to her too as a grown man and not a child which made her become violent and lose control. so i called the police and had her removed as well.instead of stooping to their level and engaging the way they wanted me to, i just called the police and now they arent allowed to come here anymore for being violent and abusive toward me.ive never taken the path of violence and ive always tried to do the right thing. i have not had an easy life. this isnt even the half of it. ive been through some shit outside of the family too. its impossible not to when you get trapped in that lifestyle i didnt know any better. i grew up into it and its all i knew. running drugs, domestic violence, hurting people and not caring. i had an awakening but im still very much damaged.
