Intel is full of jeets and hasn't innovated anything since they got beaten by ryzen. Because there's no innovation, all they could do was drawing the absolute limits of their decades old hardware to the point of failure and now they're fucked.

>In August 2012 Keller returned to AMD, where his primary task was to lead development of new generations ofx86-64andARMmicroarchitecturescalledZenandK12.After years of being unable to compete withIntelin the high-endCPUmarket, AMD restored its ability to do just that with the new generation of Zen processors. On September 18, 2015 Keller left AMD.

>In April 2018 Keller joinedIntel, where he served as Senior Vice President. He resigned from Intel in June 2020, officially citing personal reasons, though a later report said his departure was catalyzed by a dispute about whether the company should outsource more of its production.

Basically Intel went big into the idea that real chip companies run their own fabs. This meant that every innovation that TSMC made that they could offer Intel went to AMD.

That's a really smart long term strategy, but it won't work because all that matters in this clown world is what shareholders think each quarter. They will probably force him to go back to TSMC or change CEOs because line must go up no matter what
