Question, why is the Grayscale XRP ETF Trust investment vehicle only available to accredited investors?

-Is it:
A. Accredited Investors are wealthy enough to tolerate the high risk, low chance of success that XRP represents or
B. The Powers that be only want members of their Club to have access to the XRP Grayscale Trust so the big profits stay with the aristocracy?

Obviously, it’s not a security. The appeal is about XRP sold by Ripple, not by the bagholders. But as long as Ripple is in court with the SEC, the price won’t move, and no announcements will happen. Ripple is using this lawsuit to manipulate the price even further. Don’t expect XRP to "breathe" as long as the lawsuit is ongoing. Rest in Peace Mr. George Floyd!

Who cares? At some point, both LINK and XRP were the exact same price, and we told you to sell XRP for LINK. Now, all the LINK holders from that time have already made it, and you’re still fighting for one dollar, ONE FUCKING DOLLAR. I obviously bought some XRP just in case you schizos are right, but don’t compare XRP to LINK. You *wish* you bought LINK below 50 cents, but you didn’t (LMAO).
>>
Does the SEC stand to win any more money from Ripple if they appeal? The SEC is just another revenue agency, like the IRS, but disguised as consumer protection. If not, and considering appealing would cost some number of votes for Harris - that's my main thought on why they wouldn't appeal.
>>

SEC just filed an appeal against Ripple.
https://x.com/FilanLaw/status/1841585433274204454
Don't give up hope anons.
Watch how businesses and banks react to the appeal.
The main problem with the lawsuit up until now, was that it scared away American businesses from Ripple and XRP.
We still have 2 separate XRP ETFs.
Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD, will be launching in the next couple of weeks.
Which will bring huge liquidity to XRP, and raise the price.
Just like Binance's stablecoin raised the price of BNB and Tether raised the price of Bitcoin.
As long as the appeal doesn't scare away companies and banks from Ripple and XRP, the appeal doesn't matter.
Don't listen to demoralization trolls.
They derive sick pleasure from the suffering of people.
Just like our malevolent rulers.
Don't give them the satisfaction of (you)s.

I'm not going to sugar coat it.
Today is going to suck.
We're going to crash hard pricewise.
But it's not over.
Today will be the low point.
Starting tomorrow, we go up.
My bags have been full for a long time.
But if any of you don't have full bags, today is a great day to buy.
Although I would advise against buying right now.
Don't try to buy the bottom either.
Wait until it start crabbing or going back up for at least an hour.

>>
>>59040451
Fuck them…What has been decided already is the status quo moving forward until they file(not just a notice, they have 70 days now) and more importantly win the appeal right?

The train has left the station and now there’s someone at the station yelling and petitioning for it to stop. Now they’ll have to wait 2-3 years for their answer.

Tables have flips and the common man is being shaken out.
>>
Attorney and lawyer, Fred Rispoli just posted a breakdown of how he predicts the timeline for the appeals process will go:
https://x.com/freddyriz/status/1841595392917700715

>For the #XRPHolders, here is the SEC v. Ripple appellate timeline:
>1. SEC brief likely due 12/2/24. SEC likely to seek permissible 30 day extension, so will be due shortly after 1/1/25.
>2. Ripple will cross appeal. It's opening brief will be due around the same time.
>3. The opposition briefs will be due around 2/2/25. Ripple will likely take its extension, taking that to 3/2/25
>4. Reply briefs will be due end of March 2025.
>5. An oral argument will be scheduled for some time September - October 2025.
>6. A ruling will be handed down from the 2nd Cir in January 2026 at the earliest, likely March or April though.

Someone asked him:
>And then the timeline for ending up at the Supreme Court?

Fred Rispoli responded:
>+1.5 to 2 yrs to that.

As I said before, it doesn't matter how we react to this appeal news.
It only matters how banks and businesses react.
Watch to see what happens with the two XRP ETFs.
And watch for Ripple to launch their stablecoin, RLUSD.
Hypothetically, if the appeal actually does negatively delay institutional adoption, there are still other sources of hope.
If Trump is selected by our rulers to play the role of President, he will fire Gary Gensler and appoint a new crypto friendly SEC chairman.
A chairman who could withdraw the SEC's appeal.
A republican congress will pass legislation defining and governing crypto.
(All those campaign donations (bribes) have transformed the republicans into being very crypto friendly.)
Legislation that would immediately render the appeal pointless and end it.

I'm not going to despair unless we see:
Ripple and XRP institutional adoption negatively effected by the appeal,
and Kamala Harris and Democrats "win" in November.
Until then, I'm going to hold out hope.
>>
>>59040633
I've heard it's happening on the 16th.
>>
>>59040679
Wait so a notice to appeal is just something to extend the time to actually appeal? Sorry, not familiar with the appeals process.

Also would this affect RLUSD and its rollout?

We are barely at half time. All those anons that said, “2030 anons just bagholding and kicking the can down the road” are forever ngmi.

Trump is literally being presented as the savior to the public in terms of wars, inflation, israel, natural disasters- anything you can think of. The “consent of the people” is being MANUFACTURED so that Trump is given mass backing for pushing the US and World closer to Agenda 2030.

War, Multipolar world economy, AI, Smart Cities. You won’t accept a CBDC if they just said “hey you’re going to use this now”. The conditions must be prepared and the SEC lawsuit appeal is a part of that process.

The phoenix has to rise from the ashes. XRP was never going to be anything without it burning to the ground first.

>>
Found an interesting take on the timing of why the SEC chose to appeal today.
https://x.com/DarkhorseDNME4/status/1841593648590282943

>Did you know that the SEC yesterday shut down a crypto called $Rivetz? They won on the fact they ICO'd without registering. Now, before you shout at me, Ripple didn't ICO...

>The SEC got something out of this case called.. "Economic reality" of the sale, rather than its form. The court looked at how it was marketed and how the investors expected to profit from Rivetz’s future efforts to build the ecosystem.

>Now, here's the interesting part for the appeal:
>the "economic reality" of Ripple’s programmatic sales points to a common expectation of profit tied to Ripple’s efforts, even if the investors were anonymous. The SEC could contend that the form of the sale—being programmatic and anonymous—should not override the substance of the transaction, which was still, in their view, driven by expectations of Ripple’s success.

>Could this case's win be the catalyst for this appeal???

If you follow the link at the top, he has the court documents from the SEC vs. $Rivetz lawsuit.
Personally, it enrages me how long this has gone on.
So long, that the SEC can use results from other lawsuits it started after the Ripple lawsuit, to use against them.
If this is the tactic the SEC is going to use, I think it's bullshit.
But, it's probably enough that the appeals court will have to hear the case.
>>

Im not expecting anything
I just want to know how desperate the shilling will get

Im really surprised at how the SEC is acting because liquidity in the markets would add a massive boost to the market itself as more investors from all over the world can move money into the market itself…

Its really odd the SEC would do all of this its almost as if they have put all their resources into PUT orders on the market

yknow something can be both real and fake at the same time. yes it is fake and gay and all the world is a stage in the most literal sense, and we're all gay retard actors on that stage. and at the same time it is completely real and all the participants are 100% playing their role without dissimulating (not sure about Gary G, Jay Clayton, some of Ripple's backers, etc- and I bet Christine LaGarde knows exactly what the score is)
>is the thought of a unicorn a real thing?

xrpl was developed by the NSA retard
just like btc/nakamoto consensus and smart contracts. it's all part of a transition to a multipolar global system run on a trustless digital economic framework.

the big big big guys way back in 2008 or likely the early 2000s saw which way the wind was blowing and realized the insane neocons/zionists probably wouldn't give up hegemonic control without flipping the table to wipe the game board via nukes, bioweapons etc, so they had to figure out a way to transition from the petrodollar unipolar system to something closer to what was originally laid out at bretton woods with the bancor and multilateral clearing
but don't take my word for it:
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-fed-jacksonhole-carney/world-needs-to-end-risky-reliance-on-u-s-dollar-boes-carney-idUSKCN1VD28C

this is all part of the transition to a system where multilateral/supranational institutions are more powerful, the UN actually has teeth, post-westphalian nationstates lose relevance in favor of more power at the local, state, and regional levels (and corporations obviously) and then the whole 2030 digital ID social credit score system thing. it syncs up with the rollout of AI, UBI and automation.

/xsg/ and the XRPL ARG were designed to find anons who could help foster a parallel system that's outside of but complementary to the technocratic totalitarian UBI AI surveillance state.

people always talk about how vitalik was a ripple intern but so was justin sun. which is the only blockchain network that actually gets used? fucking tron, for tether stablecoin payments. hundreds of millions of people use it.

coincidentally this utilization of USD stablecoins means that the US will continue to be a dominant value peg for the global system even as the transition to a multipolar, multi-currency system is going on.

Brian Brooks got a memo to this end near the end of his short but happy tenure as head of the OCC and started talking loudly about how stablecoins were a great mechanism for soft power projection in unfriendly nation states, before he got put out to golden pasture consulting for wall street-crypto world.

>>59040774
yes 100%. if this BricsPay mCBDC system isn't interoperable with mBridge, Agora, and stuff like R3 corda (which has used xrp and xdc for settlement since like 2017??) i will eat my hat. 159 fucking countries will suddenly find their national currency on much more level playing field with the dollar as soon as they plug in and their forex holdings will shift accordingly

idk if any of you are autistic enough to keep track of ratios of forex holdings but the dollar's share of central bank holdings worldwide has been dipping. the yuan and stuff like chf has been increasing slightly but the real interesting datapoint from the last year or two (besides the gold buying spree bc the BRICS unit will be 60% gold backed) is how central bank holdings of national currencies have spiked by like 5%, which might not sound like a lot but in a field where fluctuations of .01% are notable, a 500 basis point increase in a year is huge and represents trillions of dollars, especially in global south countries whose GDPs are measured in billions

i too am anticipating some big news to come out of Kazan anon, even beyond the 10 new members of BRICS+. especially about the BRICS Unit and BRICSpay.

you are mistaking the show for reality anon. at the highest levels, it's all business. the US gets most of its uranium from russia, and oil has flowed to europe through ukraine every single day of this war. just like JPM and rockefeller oil + additives flowed to Nazi germany from the US via south america every single day of WW2, and David Rockefeller's private jet had blanket clearance to land at Moscow and St Petersburg airport every day of the cold war, and WW1 was planned and decided by members of the round table organizations and banking families.

all of this is out in the open, completely public knowledge, not a "conspiracy theory" but simply, business. sure there might be conflicts and disruptions (99% of which are engineered) but those simply serve as "creative destruction" that clear out the old system to make room for new systems which are first pilot tested and prototyped. fucking exactly like the digital economic system we're seeing now.

anyway i misspoke, it was probably NSA and GCHQ. and Ripple has proven ties with banks at the very highest levels in Brazil, India, Hong Kong/Singapore/Bhutan/Cambodia (literally China wearing a mask) Japan/Korea (very close economically to China despite all the bluster and playacting) and european countries one degree removed from Russia (pay attention to TON though if you want to bet on Russia though)

remember anon, even as nukes start dropping and war war war, rumors of war, fear fear fear, civil war, cyberattack, pandemic, asteroid, aliens, whatever. it's all business.

btw speaking of cyberattacks

you're correct it's all fear mongering facade, there is a word government already in place and in control, that said it would be trivial for china to fork their own variant of the ripple protocol, instead of being beholden to the glowniggers - i am tits deep in xrp, but i don't see brics adopting it as their backbone infrastructure desu

ah i stand corrected thank you
this guy says only a quarter comes from Russia
https://www.visualcapitalist.com/how-much-does-the-u-s-depend-on-russian-uranium/

and agreed, the XRPL won't necessarily be the backbone but all signs continue to point to it becoming an important part. i could be wrong! i have been wrong a lot before.

i also wonder a lot about those thousands of NDAs Ripple has signed with financial institutions. all those offices in all those countries full of all those employees, something must be keeping them busy right? and it sure isn't fostering a healthy and vibrant developer ecosystem for retail, lol

and, we know that Ripple has worked directly with, at the very least, the world bank, BIS, tech contractors for the Federal Reserve Temenos and ACI as well as Fednow, the bank of england, party-run payments apps in china via tranglo (wepay and alipay), even completing a pilot test of CBDC for Hong Kong monetary authority for connections to china, and are deeply embedded in the middle east via UAE and saudi sovereign wealth fund. not to mention the deep deep connections at the very highest levels of the japanese economy. and banque de france indicating that the xrpl is suitable for the digital euro. i can't think of any other blockchain company similarly positioned to be a tech provider for the global digital economy at the very highest levels (central bank + multilateral/supranational level down to the local level on every continent).

maybe Hedera? Circle, sort of? Hyperledger besu? Interledger Protocol? XinFin, Stellar, Consensys, Quant, several others are definitely players but none come close to even matching Ripple, and that's just what has been publicly disclosed.

Stop acting all self righteous.
I've tried to explain to you in the past how most of us are trying to get rich to get away from globohomo.
But you've already passed judgement on us, and are carrying out our punishment.
I hate globohomo.
You have no idea how many hours I've thought about ways to stop them.
We don't even know the names of the people that actually rule over us.
I came to the conclusion that the only way to stop them, is violence.
And it's not something one man can do alone.
Any attempts to organize will be infiltrated by glow in the dark CIA niggers.
Nor do I have any of the skills necessary.
And for the record, I say this as a purely theoretical exercise.
I in no way, shape, or form advocate for any real life violence.

You guys enjoying the positivity here?
Isn't it great how 2 or more of our regular posters just shit all over us every day?
It's like visiting a car enthusiast forum, where one of the regular posters constantly posts about how great bikes are and how stupid car owners are.
Or a forum about grilling meats.
And one of the regulars is a zealous vegan, that constantly lets everyone know how evil they are for eating meat.
What a great experience.
Really makes posting here fun.
And they like to let you know that it's always your fault, and never, ever theirs.
If they stab someone, it's their fault for not avoiding their knife.
XSG.
What a happy and fun general thread.
Remember to be cruel and insult everyone here.
You're the only one that's a good person.
And everyone else is evil.
So anything you do to them is justified.
Remember when we had the fun and positive kinds of mental illness?
Now we get the destructive kind.

XRP is a gamble.

>>
>>59041757
Figure that out for yourself, lil bro. Everything’s tainted, maybe except memecoins, but at least LINK made me money and freed me from wageslaving. I unironically hope XRP will make me some money too, but stop acting like Brad and Co. are the good guys, because they’re not. The complete insanity of XRP holders is baffling. People worship Brad, people worship Trump, who’s literally selling you satanic boots right in front of your faces (FFF = 666). Just embrace it. Maybe even start worshipping Lucifer for that matter, idk, lmao.
>>
>>59041764
So if I said I want to get rich off of XRP, but simultaneously said "fuck brad and david. They are evil."

Also, are you several other user IDs in this thread?
Or is there a completely separate anon in here that also delights in our suffering?
>>
>>59041782
>Then you would dial down the delight in our suffering?
You suffer because you’ve overinvested spiritually and morally. I probably hold more XRP than you, but I don’t give a single flying fuck about Ripple, Brad, or Trump for that matter. It’s all a big show, and we’re merely NPCs. I know exactly what they’re developing behind the scenes and I literally "know what I hold". Find Jesus Christ, unironically, and stop acting like a victim, because you’re not one.
>>
>>59041784
You have the luxury of having already made it.
You don't have the same pressures and concerns as we do.
You are "above it all" and we are beneath you.
If you were poor, maybe you would be overinvested too.

So theoretically, if every single poster in this general:
was trying to get rich off of xrp,
but regularly shit on brad garlinghouse, david schwartz, and ripple for being evil,
and were all christians
and didn't care that much about whether xrp made us rich or not,
then you would dial down the mocking?
>>
>>59041795
>If you were poor
There are millions of other coins out there, yet you chose to overinvest in XRP, and now you cry and act like a victim. Go start a business, learn a skill. You can literally code a whole product using AI tools like Replit now, but no, you’re here wasting time, crying like XRP is the only way out of poverty. I was making 5500EUR per month after taxes before I quit wageslaving, and I still build shit because I enjoy it, and some of that shit is even making me money now. Endless possibilities, yet you're here, whining like a fucking bitch.

I like Chad.
Sure he's an engagement farmer and probably Babacugs and/or a Russian stooge, but he at least sprinkles the occasional source at you so you can believe some of the hopium he transmits to the world.
>>
What’s the play here? Why announce ETFs right before the SEC appeal? They aren’t stupid. they might’ve had inside information. Is it to soften the price drop? But the price didn’t even budge after the announcement. If ETFs are approved by the SEC, how could the SEC approve them and then file an appeal right after? Will the appeal get denied? Will a new administration drop the case, claiming it’s a matter of national security? Or is this just another demoralization trick? It feels like mixed signals are being sent deliberately to keep everyone confused and on edge.
>>
>>59042019
the SEC is rigged and U.S has been invaded by pro-chinese agents, XRP is too high-tech and they need to postpone it in every way possible(lawsuit) so they can develop their own tech. XRP's too much of a threat.

like justin sun, he was intern in ripple. he took off to china and probably stole the source code.

fud fud and fud. probably price will touch 50 cents and draw an higher low, this is just an opportunity to buy more.

>>
>>59042027
>U.S has been invaded by pro-chinese agents
What if, just maybe, Ripple and the SEC are working together and buying time for price suppression to load up on more XRP? Ripple spent $11 billion on XRP, let’s say the average price was 40 cents, which gives them 27.5 billion XRP. They also stopped reporting XRP purchases back in Q3 2023. How many more have they bought since that Linqto post? Looks like some 5D chess shit to me, just thinking out loud.

Nah, they had the seed phrases and went to Ripple, who helped them out. No idea what they did with the XRP after that though.

It is election manipulation. They are trying to force the crypto crowd to be pro-Trump because the Democrats have unwisely dropped the ball on understanding what crypto means in an (xrp/btc) vs. (everything else) context.
>The random bike fucking sperg who is paid per post to demoralize all three other posters here is some retard from /x who fucks plushies, rapes his bicycle, is trooning out while malding like an old woman, and is convinced that they are secretly working for the CIA as the 'shadow president' wtf that means. The entire crypto debacle is strictly election interference by paid actors. Gensler etc. are all going to get assfucked by the Dems once they figure out what is going on.

Gonna be buying XRP cheap for a while.
I'm pissed at the fact that I bought $500 about 15 minutes before the SEC rats dropped their appeal bomb. Still, in the future, I'll be buying a discount to get my DCA down, which is always good.

Cross-appeal for the appeal, then 2 years of extensions. Once the second circuit is over, they appeal again, which takes another 1.5 to 2 years in the Supreme Court. It’s now 2029, the case is finally over, XRP pumps to $2, while BTC hits $500K.

Everything is delayed homie. I see no reason flare needed to launch in 2023 instead of 2022. RLUSD took this long to launch. It will be a whole year, assuming the timeline is right, of testing flare and songbird next year, and then maybe by 2026 we get some price action. Like, what the hell is going on that it’s October 2024 and we still haven’t heard a peep from the flare team when we last heard of them November 2023?
What the fuck is even going on?
