How did things turn like this? I'm 29 yo and I take online surveys to make some extra cash. I remember being a young lad, having dreams, being optimistic... now I take surveys and swing internet magic coins. This is some dystopian shit
Because you rushed things. You wanted an income that require no skill. If you endured the pain of acquiring a new skill that has high earning potential, you wouldn't be in this position. But you're still young. Learn something useful to people and make money out of it once you are good enough to be hired.
i spent 4 months acquiring a skill that has made me $2m+ over the next 8 years. before that i was doing online surveys.come up with an actual plan and set checkmark goals that make sure you are making progress.29 is way younger than you think it is.

>>59038086What skill is that?
>>59038678You got it backwards. The first is little more than a big assumption. On the second bit, you're not really old until at least mid thirties or you reach your thirties if you're a bit pessimistic. Still time to fix your shit. Anything else is demoralization.
>>59039169Being broke at 29 and not wanting to be must mean OP doesn't have a high-income skill. If OP did, they'd be using it instead of doing online surveys.>or you reach your thirties if you're a bit pessimisticOP has essentially reached his 30s, and is likely going to be starting from a blank state.
>>59038854selling you courses or some mlm shit lmao
>>59038854Any skill that can earn him an income. I know an elementary school director who also repair phones. He's doing it as hobby mind you. It ended up as a source of income. In my country, thing aren't as tight as it is in the west in term of how much you need to make to have a comfortable life. So I don't know that many example because most people don't have enough incentive to juggle two jobs. But the problem is not the skill, the problem is that we can't endure the period of time where we have to work hard without earning anything. The learning period. Because we're always filled with doubt. Is it worth it? Will I ever be good enough to earn from it or to be hired? Is there any gigs for this skill any more? Isn't the market saturated?I'm not talking from a high horse. I'm 38 with nothing to show for it because of this exact problem. We rush things, so end up accomplishing nothing.
