I bought btc in 2013 but sold in 2018Im a fucking retard
>>59308959I tried to buy $8,000 worth of BTC in 2010 but couldn't find a way to do it, the universe hates me
You've made money on crypto so you did better than 80% of plebs, probably
>>59308959yeah well now is your chance to buy BONK
I almost bought litecoin in 2013 but didn't.>3 dollars back then>I had 500>it's worth 16000 nowWhat a shitcoin lol.
>>59309007>the universe hates meI think about this a lot.
>>59309023
>>59308959I had 16 BTC's in 2014 bought 220ETH for 500€ sold the whole package for around 5k in 2015KEK
It's hard to imagine what's worse. This feeling of missing out on gains, or suffering -80% repeatedlyI'll admit I've probably been severely psychologically affected by bear marketsbull markets too actuallya +100% barely even registers todayI think I would be a better person without all this. but also poorerhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfzmVUrZplw
>>59309051+100% isn't shit unless you started with 500k anyway. But +1000% would be great.
>>59309007Bullshit. If you were already willing to buy $8 grand worth of BTC in 2010 then you wouldn't have simply given up trying to accumulate it in the following years. Why didn't you try to buy $8 grand worth of BTC in 2011, 2012, 2013, etc?
>>59309051the feeling of not going ALL IN BONK
>>59309056yes but I'm just talking about the psychological aspect of how the first gains are more exciting than the next one(s), by which time you are jaded
You aren't nearly as bad as me. At least you made out with a decent profit (assuming). Here's me:> Been in crypto since late 2020> $100k buy in, still down 50%> Keep missing all types of opportunities out of straight fear, including: not buying XRP at 50c just recently, knowing about shib early 2021 (but not buying because too lazy to figure out eth/uniswap at the time due to noob knowledge), not buying SOL with everything I had late 2022/early 2023, etc.
>>59309105The real mistake is that you didn't buy mostly BTC with every purchase, but you probably already know that. if you are still down 50% that tells me you should unmarry bags and move funds around. it should have been possible to have it backit's ok to chase "pumps" at this stage because the real gay orgy is yet to startHeres a thought: "things that do well today are probably going to do well tomorrow" is probably a better investment thesis for you than the schizo theories which have not played out
>>59309143I did fomo into SEI with decent size recently but I don't know how that's going to pan out. As a matter of fact, what I should have done is simply buy btc only during 2022-2023, yes, but I didn't of course because I have gold and diamonds in my eye reflections like 99% of other people out there. What I have been doing over the past 2-3 years was moving funds around, but that turned out to be a failing strategy for me as well, I just don't know how to pick em man. Everything I pick winds up slow bleeding after I buy and I sell out of frustration. Sometimes they continue bleeding out, or they suddenly moon after I sell.
I bought in 2014 using localbitcoins but I only bought 0.3 BTC and then ignored crypto until 2021.
>>59309152just think about it like this, it's good that you have learned.when alts rip and outperform BTC, you are going to be seeing your sats increase, and you are going to sell those pieces of shit for bitcoin, while others are going to hold them to -90% like we did in the past. Because now you understand bitcoin. in late 2023 or early 24 when things started moving again I used cryptobubbles to chase pumps on alts in the top 100. I accidentally ended up with a bag of the best performers by march and recovered post-2021 losses. dont chase huge pumps ofc, they almost always get cut down narrative + mind share/biz/ was malding about holding LINK or XRP while my alts were doing +400% backflips (some examples of things I had: FET, RNDR, STX, PEPE, SUI, SOL). i felt bad because to me it seemed like obvious plays. at the time that I bought them the board sentiment was "these already pumped, I need a 10x, shill me something that hasn't pumped yet". And then, everything that hadn't pumped, continued not to pumpalso, in general, if /biz/ hates it, it's gonna make you money. I'm not sasynig this will work for you but maybe it's a different approach that you cna try
>>59308959There are still many opportunities, anon. Buy low-cap alts like YLAY and RAM, and you're going to make it. Patience is key.
yeah well i sold 5 btc on ebay for $60 in (whatever year) and then got mandatory refunded
>>59309399also snorted/ingested countless millions on silk road 1.0
>>59308959Merely a x99
>>59309207Sergey bros don’t want to admit it, but Solana LINK is just better. Faster, cheaper, and pumping harderLINKIES crying rn
>>59309158No way, I bought 0.1BTC in 2014 using localbitcoins too lol. There were no exchanges operating in NZ back then.
