The how isn't important.

God/Universe/Monad/Divine Consciousness, whatever you want to call it, has plans for this world, plans for us, and they do not include whatever insane kikery these "elites" have in store for the world. There will always be a unforseen Black Swan, or thrown wrench into the mechanism, that ultimately will be their undoing.

It happened with the Trucker Convoy ending the Covid lockdowns, it will happen again with their next Great Reset attempt. The House always wins and the house belongs to God.

My brothers in Christ, I haven't spent much time in /pmg/ lately, but I have not abandoned the Cause. But I've been wondering about something for a while that I've been meaning to run by you, because for all the autism and shitposting that occurs here, the fact that you are fellow stackers makes you, by default, the most sensible lot that can be found on /biz/ at the very least.

Basically: what are you all doing to navigate the AI question? How do we profit from this? I have strong personal feelings towards AI - I think it's going to ruin us socially, undermine us intellectually and enable all sorts of horrific censorship and streamlined government oppression. That said, the best way to escape the consequences is, naturally, to make enough money to separate yourself from the urban hellscape to the greatest possible degree.

To be clear, I'm not giving up on metal, I still believe that one day, inevitably, things will be set right and my investment in gold and silver will secure my family, even if I'm gone by the time it happens. But if I'm to accumulate as much metal as possible, I need to acquire some of this shitty paper fiat in the near term. And it seems like the most obvious thing in the world that SOMEONE is going to get extremely fucking rich off of this very rapid proliferation period of AI, I just don't know who or how. Are we investing in the newest tech revolution, on part with the advent of electricity and the dot com boom? Or are we shorting the next enormous crash like the dot com crash or subprime crisis?

I want to know what you guys think because I'm sick of being behind the curve, even if I'm ahead of the curve metal-wise on a much longer timescale.

really you mean if then pathways built only on the data they are fed
but even so, I am highly doubtful of modern civilizations ability to maintain the infrastructure needed for long enough to actually get to an honest to god General AI, I could be wrong, but they refuse to stop importing monkeys from the third world and only care if line goes up. Those calling the shots never built or sustained a culture or civilization in their entire history, our present situation will be no different. Not saying this take is gospel, just that it seems most likely to me.

AI is still years away from being of any practical use. As much as language models will say and dance around subjects like they know something, it is largely inflated and cannot be used for automation and building just yet. It will replace stuff but it is in a major speculative bubble that will crash. That is our advantage and our ticket to making it. All I'm doing is stacking. Even though I am retired I have a few odds and ends jobs that make me six figures on top of everything else including rentals and some royalties I receive from old lyrics. I put 80% of it into silver and ammunition. Why? Because when it all crashes silver will go up immensely. That is the key for me; to stack. I am stacking so fucking much it's crazy.
>>
>>61303988
AI is nowhere near ready yet, and I'm staying as far away from it as I can. Too much money has been pumped into it, with nothing to show for it. Maybe in five or ten years it will live up to the hype, but I think right now everybody's jumped the gun. Some people just get absolutely sucked in by the complete confidence LLMs have in what they say (plus the overwhelming sycophancy) and hype themselves into believing we're 99% of the way to AGI. I don't think there's a way to bridge the gap from now until then without somebody big expecting a return on investment then having a melty because there's nothing to be had.
>>
>>61304031
I just like metals in the OP pic because it's easier to spot the thread without searching. That's all. I don't give a fuck what's posted in the thread, but the OP should be shiny.

this has always been true. OP's with metal in the picture move faster and get more attention. Without metal it's a dead thread.

The listing stated it was located in the US, but it's telling me I have to pay for the import fee in the tracking. The seller has a 91% rating but he has 6 negatives, 1 of which is about fake coins

I tried cancelling the order almost instantly after placing it, but the seller "shipped it out" with a tracking label instantly after i placed the cancellation
>>
The melt value of a Peace dollar is almost $40, so that order should be about $200... not $120. Lots of scams out there, nobody is selling for less then $1 or 2 below spot.

It's ebay so you'll get your $ back eventually. you should of made an offer and asked for a better deal anyway.
>>
>>61303984
why do you post this cringe?
>>
>>61304076
Fren, why would you be buying off of ebay from a shop with 91% rating and mentions of fake coins? Contact the shipping company and try to get the package returned for a refund, or better yet, just refuse delivery. Or / and initiate a claim with paypal, ebay, or cc company if need be. Seeing that they're imported I would think they're fakes and would try to get it returned instead of having the import fee refunded or something like that.

>>61304112
The coin or the video? The coin as an excuse for the video, and the video because it's a big burger boat on the autobahn.

>Fren, why would you be buying off of ebay from a shop with 91%
I was rushing like a total retard and didn't check the seller page. I was looking at (real) junk silver listings and clicked on the peace morgan listing.

It looks like the seller is being responsive and is trying to get the order cancelled now, but i'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm either going to likely have to call Ebay or my bank

I like PMG, but I can't support it because it is being controlled and manipulated by China, and the Brick-ed Nations, they have been accumulating Gold and silver for a long time, manipulating it for their own currency. I would think anyone with common sense, would know to stay clear from politics when it comes to investment, its high risk with low returns. I am not going to tell you what to do, but if you feel stuck, exchange the shiny rocks, buy land, grow farm, make business, get women and make children, its much better than hogging shiny rocks. The point isn't just to retain value, but use the value to generate wealth for yourself. You could retain value till the day you die, but if you dont create wealth... whats the point? Like a dragon hogging treasures, only to be slayed by death.

There's many bad actors in the world, and America had been paying, and been doing the policing, they too have been tricked into wars, lose wars that they should have won, and retreat from Afghan like little bitches, leaving behind so much weapons, that the Taliban began to sell them in their own markets. So yes, America makes mistakes, some are more worst than others, but we are relatively safe. 99% of the population are not killing each other. The 1% are in borderlands, or in middle east, or conflict driven places like Africa, the Muslims are funded by China and they are killing Christians. So you have to open your eyes, see who are the people trying to trick America, and who are the true disruptor of this peace. Counterfeit for example 98% came from China and terrorists organization use those counterfeit to make money, to buy materials and rent trucks to kill people in the first world. China is the culprit that is disrupting the peace, because China wants to rule. They can never, they dont have the attitude nor the aptitude. Alright, PMG kun, nice chat!

The best protection for metals is not buying them. Locking up your metals in a massive safe won't protect them when someone takes a pair of pliers to your balls.
The best safe is one that is bolted to the ground and too heavy to carry aka an etf. Small lockboxes can just be picked up and carried off. having multiple etfs could be useful as well in the event someone finds/takes a small portion you won't lose it all.

Act 1: Shit hits the fan [civil war, they took out the power grid].
Muh violence. He defends himself against robbers; pretty bloody.
Goes home to gf. She wants safety. Anon has a plan and a treasure to make it happen. Gf is happy about this. Oh shit, my treasure is in another city. Just a few hours out, a few hours back. One day trip. Gf is worried, but okay with it. He goes forth.
Act 2: The tail.
Anon senses he has a tail, but can't shake it. Takes a side road. Ambush. Almost dies. That was just a lackey - the actual tail is still in pursuit.
Arrives at destination late. After sunset. Abandoned cop cars, corpses everywhere. Raiders ransacking the site. Anon burns their car. Two of them rush to put out the fire. He caps them. One left. He stalks the last raider. The raider gets the drop on him. He shoots the raider, raider shoots him. Anon survives. Anon recovers his treasure. He hears a crack. He looks around. Nothing. He goes back home, lights off, checking his rear view mirror. Just desolation everywhere. Fires in the distance. Are those brake lights a quarter mile back there?
Act 3: Homecoming.
He arrives home. Everything is dark. Not even candle light. His whole home has been turned upside down. Gf gone. Silent. Empty. Anon hears something, lunges back as a shot rings out. Anon gets hit in the cheek as he falls to the ground. Tail shoots Anon's weapon out of his hand. Anon puts his hands up. Tail, "Tell me where it is and I let you go." Gf screams and tackles tail. Tail wrestles with her, smacks her. Tail tosses her to the ground and raises his gun at her. Anon rushes tail, take;s gun, and proceeds to pistol whip tail to death. Gf, "Are there anymore?" Anon, "I don't think so." Gf, "That was intense." Anon, "The life of a stacker is always intense." Gf, "Now what?" Anon, "We go to my cousin's house in Salem." Gf, "Massachusetts?" Anon, "Utah."

was an NFT and crypto buyer and spent 30k on chains and shitcoins. Yesterday I just sold everything I had for only 1k, and bought silver. I am also an unpaid federal worker my pay reflecting the value i add . I could have used that money to buy food, but ultimately decided not to because im obese. The truth is I knew from the beginning that I should have bought silver having watched 13 Peter Schiff videos but my coworkers kept hyping me up and only later did I realize they didn't even own any crypto or NFT. So I guess this is a cautionary tale to not be a fuckup like me. I'm sure there will be a lot more people like me in the next few years. If I wasn't able to make around 80 dollars a day tutoring people who were failed by the public school system like me, I don't know what I would do. I also was trying to sell my small ass home in desperation but with only a few days left the buyers backed out. If this government shutdown doesn't end I may actually have to sell some of my silver for 54% of what i paid for it last week which really sucks. Just keep me in prayers because I will fall for every scam and self destruct.

1 ounce of silver is 2 weeks wages historically. 500 ounces of silver = 1,000 weeks or 20 years worth of days wages.

I don’t know why you people think you need 2,000 ounces of silver to make it when literally no Americans own silver.

I can’t imagine there’s not a scenario where the govt actually starts signaling to people to buy some silver, but this might be at the $150-$300 mark, so there’s enough people out there who have 10-20 ounces to seamlessly transition back to a silver standard/gold standard.

I mean what do you thinks going to happen? You have 2,000 ounces of silver and 99.6% of the country has nothing? And the 48 people in America with over 2,000 ounces of silver live like kings while everyone else doesn’t have a can to piss in?

There are a LOT of logistical issues with this though, for example, "enough people out there who have 10-20 ounces to seamlessly transition back to the silver standard/gold standard"

What happens when people spend their 10-20 ounces? Even at your $150-300 mark, that's not even a single month of bills. Does everyone go out each and every month to purchase their allotment of new money with their old money? Do employers start paying with silver coins? Where do THEY get their coins from? How do employers pay their employees if they all have to go out every month and buy massive piles of silver coins to.. What, hand out manually to each employee one by one? And the execs take home.. Wheelbarrows of coins? And you're going to do this in your multi-national of 1 million+ employees? Then the price of silver, which is super scarce by the way, stratospherically moons, so employers are suddenly paying 10x the wages next month than they were the month before, bidding against each other to acquire the more and more scarce pile of coins to pay out to their employees.
>>
>>61305313
Additionally, "I don’t know why you people think you need 2,000 ounces of silver to make it when literally no Americans own silver. "

2000 ounces of silver is only $100,000, not even 1/5th of the price of a home. And if your answer is "Well silver will be worth 100x more in the future" Then how do you expect people to use it as a currency? What business is going to spend the time and money to acquire silver at 100x its price to pay out in wages? If 99% of americans dont own silver, do we just have a world where 99% of people are utterly destitute, and the silver stackers are the only people with money? Yeah, that's a functional system that will last for more than 18 seconds before the food riots.
>>
>>61305320
And if the answer is "the government will buy tons of silver and mint it as coins with fixed value"

The entire premise behind this investment is that theres vastly more paper silver than actual silver, and industrial demand already uses all of it, so is the government going to be paying exponentially more every week to mint this silver currency? If there's not even enough silver to go around now with our current demand of "literally no one in america owns silver", then how the fuck are we going to provide enough silver for every single individual to use as a currency, day in, day out, paid in wages, without creating some bizarre scenario where the government is paying $100,000/oz for the tiny slivers of silver left over, to then distribute out to people in atomic quantities, and this will somehow be better than the alternative replacement fiat currency.
>>
>>61305313
imo silver is only viable in the transitory period between the financial collapse and the ID-medical-social credit score crypto. that chaos, when banks are failing and fiat is cooked, would be the time to spend it imo. probably on survival stuff. I would imagine it would be tamped down to industrially-optimal levels once the new system is implemented.

i don't think anyone who is not getting the mark is going to be able carry over much property. they will eventually be ostracized from society (over a period of time/increasing pressure), won't be able to hold land because if they can't pay the taxes on it due to not being in the new financial system.

the people stacking who are in denial or oblivious about the consequences of buying into the new system might be able to do well (at a cost greater than money)

there is no way to get through this depending on material strategizing alone

i am saying this as person who holds a decent bit of silver
>>
>>61305313
>>61305320
>>61305327
You have outlined all the reasons silver will never be used as monetary metal again. Which makes its actual value massively higher than it used to be at any given point in history when it was used as money. Thanks shill.
>>
>>61305327
Realistically, to have a "make it" stack of silver, you need to spend a "make it" amount of money right now, so probably somewhere in the region of 10,000-50,000oz of silver, how does anyone expect to get rich by stacking not even a single years median wage worth of silver? Backwoods hick truck drivers can get 1000oz of silver, literally ANYONE can get 1000oz of silver, how could that possibly be a "make it" stack?
>>
>>61305313
More along the lines of that 20 ounces is just enough “savings” being that it’s 40 weeks worth of savings where it gives you just enough cushion to transition to the new currency with your job or new job and you have a baseline for where you can start saving again.

Or maybe the govt literally says, there is a new currency coming. Exchange all your currency for gold and silver. Or buy the new currency backed by gold and silver. And they position this announcement with gold and silver at a certain price, now and someone with 500k loses 90% of their purchasing power. Now the system is at a baseline again like back in the day, and the system can reset and start up again. With everything being sustainable.

There is only enough silver on planet earth, assuming zero usage by anything else ever, for each person to have 3oz, there is absolutely no scenario at all where the government can "tell everyone to swap their money for the new gold/silver currency"
>>
>>61305349
You just spent three posts making an argument about how silver is the biggest moonshot since btc and then poopood it because it won’t be used for coins (obviously)? kys retard
>>
>>61305320
Everyone is going to have to take a huge haircut. What’s the point of buying gold and silver? So when everyone else is getting butchered by that haircut metals owners have a huge ass head start based on the new system. All the fake fiat wealth has to implode. So you aren’t going to need a lot of silver (by our standards) to “make it.” I don’t own a lot of silver by your guys’ standard but I own a shit ton compared to 100 guys walking down the street that I pass daily.
>>
>>61305358
Learn to read dumbass, Silver is no moonshot, and also can't ever be used as 'currency'

My entire point is that a "make it stack" of silver will literally just be conveying your "make it" amount of money from one system, to the next, without you losing everything because the dollar shit its pants.

As in, if you want to be rich in your "nu silver" world, you need to already have an amount of silver that is equivalent NOW, so if you want to be the equivalent of a millionaire, you'll need about 20,000oz.

You have to scale to the population, even right now with silver at ATH's, the average mom and pop on every single street can refinance their house and buy a 10,000oz stack no problem, let alone tiny amounts like 1000oz that even the lowest manual labourer can easily afford.

And saying 300oz (not even a weeks wage) is a "make it stack" is straight up delulu.
>>
>>61305352
Then maybe it’s just gold they tell people about. And then some people will also buy silver. And you are able to keep your head above water for a year or so buying the equivalent of 2 ounces of gold )the new currency) and people who own more than 200 ounces of silver end up killing it
>>
>>61305365
This presents the exact same problem as people suggesting a Bitcoin based currency system, you need everyone in the country to actually agree to use your system, and if your entire idea is "basically everyone will be completely broke and I'll be super rich forever and ever, and also anyone who was born this year, or in 10 years or 20 years, and therefore didn't have the opportunity to buy while it was cheap, will just be poor for all eternity, and they'll all just accept that for some reason."
>>
>>61305363
>And saying 300oz (not even a weeks wage) is a "make it stack" is straight up delulu.

300 ounces 500 years ago was a lot. Even just 100 years ago in America it was 3 months worth of good pay.

>>61305371
300oz now, in the time you actually live in, is $15,000. An amount any living breathing human being can get their hands on with barely any difficulty, it's not even half the cost of a car, which everyone has.

Look, I'm on board the silver train, but this is genuinely shit-coin thinking. "I'll be able to turn $100 into millions by being early."
>>
>>61305363

Let’s say someone has 100k savings. And they get a 90% haircut and only have 10k now. They will be pissed the fuck off. But not really if everything has crashed back down, and now resetted with a metal standard as the backbone, where it becomes a lot easier to save and get ahead like it was decades ago.

Silver going to 1000/oz would render it completely infeasible for any of the reasons that would make it increase in price, industrial usage would collapse as companies are forced to swap it out for lower conductivity metals simply due to obscene cost, it would be completely infeasible for any kind of exchange because it would be unacquirable by anyone, these prophecies are self defeating.

And I guess all the random LCS shop owners in every town and city in America would all become billionaires in your scenario?

Silver doesn't gain buying power. Thats why its a hedge.
Gold and silver still buy you the same equivalent of stuff that it did in ancient times. So if you have $50000 in silver, youll have $50000 of buying power post reset.

If silver reaches $1000, youll have $500k but youll be able to buy the ssme amount of bread with it that you can now. Physical goods and services dont change, just the fiat

You will only get busted when they sell a high and it keeps going lower.
You're leveraging beyond leverage with their game they play. dealing in hudreds of dollars probably, of borrowed leveraged money.
Your game only works if it rises after they sell.

You're not thinking ounce dimensionally. If you convert silver into current fiat dollars (of which there are basically infinite) it's easy to think "hey any competent person could easily own 15,000 dollars in silver" and you'd be correct. But if every person in Asia and the west wanted 300 ounces of silver that would be 600 billion ounces needed for everyone to have this stack which is so outside the realm of possibility it's not even worth thinking about.

You need to adjust the paradigm you're thinking in, the digital world is infinite, the physical world is very finite.

Yeah? I agree? Some asshole selling insurance making $300/day while producing exactly zero real value for society, can go to a coin shop with that $300 and buy 10 ounces of silver for his days work, which flies in the face of historical economic reality and is only made possible because of ass taking inflation.

So you have 200 ounces of silver. Not much by anon’s standard here on 4chan but it’s a truckload by historical/ancient standards.

So we agree.

Silver isnt money. Everyone thinks monetary value is derived from usefulness. But real money's #1 purpose should just be to be money. Gold and BTC are more valuable as they are because they're useful for other things. It's Big Silver that want silver to be overvalued and sold to incels as systems of mass control. $$$$ belongs in the hands of the people for the sake of a free market.

You know who had access to 300+ ounces of Silver in the past? Lords and Nobles, extremely wealthy people. Having a "rich" quantity in dollar value terms today would make you like a King or Emperor. The average anon here is sitting on more Silver than most people ever saw in their entire life, like 10x the amount at least that would have even been possible to accumulate through honest labor. It is not -200B.C dude, making comparisons to legionnaires pay in silver is not relevant to today, back then silver was mined using pickaxes and manual labour, now silver is mined using giant machines the size of buildings that dig up entire mountains, of course the ratios are different now, and they're not going to return to the ratios of thousands of years ago because we're not going to go back to our production mechanisms of that time.

Glass also used to be obscenely expensive, because it was hard to make, and salt, are you expecting both of those to return to their ancient roman equivalent values too?

This logic is so inherently flawed I can't believe you can write it down without immediately realizing it.

We live in 2025, the people you will be competing with monetarily live in 2025, the amount of millionaires out there right now is absolutely staggering, and every single one of them can afford to buy tens of thousands of ounces of silver, even if it doubles, or triples, there are still millions upon millions of people, entire nations worth of people, who can afford gigantic stacks of it, there is no reality where you become in any way notably wealthy with amounts of silver that aren't even larger than a truck drivers salary.
>>
>>61305755
>The average anon here is sitting on more Silver than most people ever saw in their entire life

Yes, and in a single day we mine more silver than existed in the entire world during that time, you can apply this logic to ANYTHING and see how absurd it is.

Positing the idea that 300 fucking ounces of silver will make you equivalent to
>Lords and Nobles, extremely wealthy people
Because that was a lot of silver hundreds of years ago is so fucking stupid, literally ANYONE can go on a silver website and buy 300oz right now. If silver doubles, if silver TRIPLES from this price, there will STILL be hundreds of millions of people with the ability to go on the internet and buy the amount of silver you claim will make you some kind of uber wealthy elite, that's simply not compatible with reality.

Do you have any idea how many people out there are millionaires and multi millionaires? Let alone having access to just $15,000 to buy that 300oz. If you want to be "rich" in the future with silver, you need, at the absolute minimum, 10,000oz, and that's really not enough because that's barely the median price of a single family home.

>ANYONE can go on a silver website and buy 300oz right now.
Yes, any ONE. If everyone in the world who could afford 300oz went out and bought 300oz right now, the supply would be drained instantly and the prices would skyrocket. If you're playing musical chairs with 10 chairs and 100 people, 10 chairs isn't enough just because the music hasn't stopped yet.

>when the fuck are pineapples going to go back to their 1700's price of being 10 years salary?
Pineapples are trivial to get now, silver is still expensive and extremely labor/time consuming. A better metric would be to calculate how much silver has been mined since 1700, determine what percentage it is of all silver ever ever mined, and then calculate the inflation of silver to get a more realistic, modern value.

I'd actually be interested in seeing the inflation rate of silver and gold but I haven't found any good data on it.
>>
>>61305859
There weren't even 300 million people in the ENTIRE WORLD during the time that roman centurions were paid a few ounces of silver per month or whatever the fuck, and that silver was mined with pig-iron pickaxes. We probably mine more silver in a single day than they mined in a century. I swear to god this entire "comparing the value of silver now to the value of silver 500-2000 years ago" shit is so fucking braindead, the moment you think about it for more than 0 seconds and stop being a braindead drooling pumper who wants to strike it rich off his tiny ass stack it completely falls to pieces.

WRONG!

can’t believe what a scam 90% junk is. I just went to sell the equivalent of 21.5 ounces of silver and I got $780. So I could only get like 16 ounces of silver back (rounds), and would have been even less for quality silver. I’m slowly siphoning out of it and thankfully I don’t have a lot of it, but it’s going to be funny when Millenials in their 50’s who have $1,000+ Face value who are probably going to get half of what I just got at best when shit really starts getting real.

Barter is shit. That's why any culture that ever had money goes back to money as soon as it possibly can after any disruption. Even prisoners develop systems of currency. Barter is especially shit when you are bartering consumables like tobacco, coffee, and alcohol. Unless you are in a region that produces a large quantity of those items, your consumable currency will evaporate with use. Then what? That is one reason why PMs ALWAYS emerge as money anywhere they are available. Other reasons include portability (going to lug around a 55gal drum of whisky?); durability (your coffee and tobacco have limited shelf life); fungibility (silver is silver, but the three products you mentioned all vary in quality from brand to brand and batch to batch). So go ahead and stock up big piles of those commodities in your garage (and be sure to rotate them as they go stale). I'll stick with PMs that will inevitably be money as soon as the smoke clears.

I think this is the reason
>>
>>61307058
The reason is simple : we said WAGMI back in 2019 on /pmg/ and meme magick delivered.

All the demoralized fags/fudders who said it was an obvious 2011 re-do and we would be back at 35 by this week must feel stupid. We are going to $100 and nothing can stop it.

That I am now 2pbtid because you’re such a spamming annoying faggot is cringe and gay. If you shit up pmg enough do you think real posters are going to migrate to your shuthole? I swear this is like 4 autists on discord making it their life’s mission to shitpost so that their super sekret 8shit clone gets some new blood. Worse than the Indian. KYS.

funny how all high levels economists/finance ministers are noping away one after another because they don't want to be the fall guys for once it implodes. Here in France we've got 7 finance ministers in 2 years. They get appointed, sit on their chair, get handed the figures, nope away the following minute.

It's all coming to a head Françoise. 2008 really was the end of the fiat dollar. I'm surprised they were able to kick the can this far down the road, tbqhwy.

>1:1 GSR
Folly. Going by presence of material available on the earth, the gsr is about 25:1. Not all of it is recoverable though, so it's probably closer to 15:1 in all reality.

I said in a SHTF scenerio.
You can see this play out in prisons, they dont go to pms in prison because they're useless in there, they trade in useful consumables, in prison you can buy a gold chain for way below spot, people would much rather have coffee, weed and cellphones
