>SO fucking bored of my job>do very little work and Christmas is coming soon>each element of my job seems to have been stripped down into its bare metal and has had its effect mostly gone>people clearly give no fucks about what I say in Zoom calls>all meaningful tasks removed from me and left with low level shit>all mini reports and emails, from me or others, have become aimless verbiage>started binging on sugary junk food and carby food after work to feel something, ruining my attempted weight loss>nothing in my free time is fulfilling >feeling a deep and restless malaise
>actively defied the rto>going on 2 years now>didn't get hardly any raise this year or last but can't say shit>unmotivated but pretend to carepretty decent I guess, sometimes I think about getting a new job even if it means rto so I can larp like an important businessman in the city rather than just stagnating>>61433370start exercising, make it non-negotiable can't go to bed until you do at least something, could just be a few push ups or active stretching
>>61433370I work from home job maxxer. I have 4 jobs right now each ~100k salary. I do 30 minutes of work per day each job. Been going 1 year now and not fired from any of the jobs yet
>>61433581Hoping to start doing this eventually too. I'm coming off of a year long sabbatical after quitting a stressful high paying job (~$300k). I'm starting a fully remote position in a few weeks ($160k) and from what I've heard from friends who work there, it'll probably be a couple hours of work per day max. Figure once I get settled in I can start looking for a second. Any tips on not getting caught?
>>61433944What do you do? Burned out frontend dev
>>61433581>>61433944How do you keep your responsibilities down? I'm at the medium-paid chill job, but they keep asking for more and more with no pay and often it's without much input from me, even if I push back there's scrutiny about what I'm spending my time on now then. It's kind of not that chill anymore.
>>61434138I'm more on the infrastructure side of things but on a fairly niche platform.>>61434146That's how my last place was. Overnight calls multiple times per week to fix shit, people quitting but no one coming in to replace them, and responsibilities piling up. I just reached enough savings to not really give a fuck anymore. The job I'm starting is pretty narrow in scope so I'm hoping to just play dumb and take my time without much pushback.
>>61433370Im like a nigger mommy, I work 3 jobs. But I do them all at the same time tripling my income and not wasting more time then needed. I do this cause since I got a promotion I just act busy lol. Maybe start doing the same if you work remote! >>61433581lol home job maxxefr i make a shit wage but stil young, any tips on where to look?
This is one of the worst demoralization larp threads I've seen in a LOOOOOONNNNGGGG time.

>>61433370Londonfrog I haven't seen you for a while, but I liked it that way. I am so fucking sick of you. Please stop, find another website or something so I don't have to read your mopey bullshit. You do this on every board. I've been reading your posts for years, always the same. Enough now.
>>61433581How do I find ONE wfh job?
>>61433370I'm still doing enterprise level support from home. 6 years now. Still got my home office, my screen share bros, my kids take the bus home and im already here, barely even drive. If I get a case, it goes straight to my phone and I can stop doing yard work and go do real work. Feels good, but I know it will end at some point and when it does, I'll commute on a motorcycle so It gives me an excuse to go ride twice a day. Free food at the office and all that garbage.
>>61434146Same, I should have listened to /g/ and not become a professional code monkey. The "Hustle or die", everything is a service devops is awful. Its gotten to the point where I hate computers now.
wfh chad here, only make $125k, got jewed out of a promo to $140k this month. cant be too mad since historically i havent worked a 40 hour work week consistently in years. winter is coming up and ill ski 5 days a week. will probably look for a real in office job at a big dick company if i can get it after this season so i can actually progress my career
>>61433581Only 100k for 4? Are you non-US/part-time or something? I had two full-time positions for a brief time and made like 120k.
