You have to be more conservative. Don't treat options like a lottery ticket and don't let potential gains of 5:1 cloud your judgment. The VERY BEST options plays have around 1:1 ratio, i.e. a 100% return on capital. This is already quite a lot.
Pick strike prices that are less far out of the money (or more in the money for some other instruments).

Also get familiar with the Greeks.

SOXL has been a solid year to year and half hold since 2021 for the ones who still don't get.
It repeated the same two runs to 60 previously and now going on a third, that started back in April.

WRONG

My schizoid ramble for newfags and low IQ monkeys: the future is tech, if you can't tell by now we're heading towards a technocrat slave cast system comprised of two classes, the ultra wealthy and the poor, I can't help you anymore
Semi conductors are the future, there is still a lot of ground to cover on it's advancements.
It's not just AI, ALL OF TECH RELIES ON SEMIS
SOXL will not behave like your average ETF because IT IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE ETF
Decay fundamentals although applicable, don't matter when you have billion dollar funds moving money across the tech department

SOXL isn't a money glitch for now, make your money while you still can, I predict another 1 or 2 retarded runs like this in the coming 4-5 years

You guys might think I'm crazy, but the market movements are programmed months in advance and they schedule news releases around when they need the market to pump and dump.

Today they wanted to push the market higher but they can't do that without doing a pullback or else it would be too high on the 5-day moving average and the RSI, so they dropped a fake Microsoft article about AI sales that can be easily disputed.

Once they do that they have re-tested yesterday's low and lowered the RSI so they can push SPX up to 6862.

If you are really good at seeing the algo you can can see when they are gonna release news releases.

When the market is overbought on the 5-day and 20-day moving average they will release some news about Japan, bonds, hot CPI, or Fed interest rate cuts.

There is 100% an algo and any experienced trader will tell you that.

On the day of NVDA earnings (11/19/25) the market was oversold and I knew they were gonna use NVDA earnings to push the market back up above the 9 day moving average. I also knew the next day they would do a double bottom re-test before they went higher, so I was already in puts 1 hour before the market dumped at 11am and I made $12,500 that day. I didn't know what the news was gonna be, but I knew they were gonna release some news for a double bottom retest. Sure enough at 11am they release news about AI might be in a bubble and SPY dumped from 675 to 650.

I'm not that good at seeing it all the time, but I can see it at certain times when it's very obvious.

No, it's not the only way out. The other option is the fed raising interest rates and halting inflation like they've always done, sending the country into a deep recession, while the government simultaneously slashes everyone's social benefits, defense spending, and possibly defaulting on interest payments for government-backed securities, ruining America's creditworthiness but restoring the debt/GDP ratio to a value below 1. Now saying it is one thing, making elected officials do it is another.
>>
>>61436721
This will never happen for a bajillion reasons. If Americans had character like this we'd see it in action already.

The article about that Dell guy giving american kids $250 each, was released on a telegram news channel i follow, 3 minutes before opening bell, after a red day. It really felt insane to see that. A russian news service, most likely, is scheduling this, a bullshit story, timed to pump the market.

I dont know much of how manipulation is really done, but that felt incredibly orchestrated.

We already did see part of it in action, wasn't inflation way worse in the 70s than it is today? And the federal reserve did uphold their mandate and raised interest rates to an unthinkable level then. As for the cutting spending part, the nominal debt to GDP ratio in the US only JUST started moving into the red since 2014. There hasn't even been enough time for it to become the number one issue for the average person yet. If things get fuck enough then people WILL start clamoring for officials that prioritize cutting spending. If it gets fuck enough the budget will become only issue every normie thinks about and they'll talk about it every day and turn into single-issue voters. You are being melodramatic.

If you're the incumbent party and we hit 1000% annual inflation under your watch, you're fucked, how are you supposed to possibly rationalize your performance to the country? People don't need to be beacons of fiscal literacy to wake up to this, all they need is to lose their livelihoods, like great depression-tier pain, and some kind of change is unavoidable.

I think if you're looking for growth, which it seems from:
>I don't intend to sell or micromanage anything for another 20 to 40 years, the VT would be lower risk, you also avoid having a tax event with every dividend.

That being said, I like dividends, I like receiving money without having to sell anything, even though the government takes like 15-30%...
