Am I technically a NEET?
I built a small blue-collar repair shop a few years ago, I did all the work myself in a small shop. Now I’ve got two guys doing all the labor while I sit at home shitposting, watching movies, and playing vidya because the margins make it possible.
Yeah, if I actually worked and only hired one guy I’d make more money, obviously.
So what the hell does that make me? NEET with revenue? Semi-retired shoplord? Trying to figure out where this fits.

Business owners are not neets.

You are not in a training program, nor are you being educated by an institution, nor are you employed by another man. Therefore you are NEET.
NEETs do not have to be on welfare, or poor, or whatever else normgroids defame them as.
Although I must ask, do you pay your workers well? Within reason of course, just don't become like the Enemy and treat them badly for your own gain.

Your job now is to stay on top of them and make sure they don't slack off or embezzle.

BASED.

I’m not some monopoly-man caricature squeezing teenage orphans for pennies.
My guys make around roughly $20-25/hr depending on hours.
That’s exactly what the work is worth in my industry, skilled but not aerospace engineering.
And I’m not pocketing huge profits either. I make an average income, the only luxury I have is not having to pick up the tools anymore. So no, I’m not “the enemy”
I’m just the guy who built something that now runs well enough that I don’t have to clock in, which apparently qualifies as NEET royalty.

why would you want to be a NEET? NEETS are losers.

See, I could imagine him saying that employee lazy and corruption are small prices to pay to NEET it up. It's the typical NEET mindset, so I for one welcome him into our secret society.

That's awesome man, but it sounds like you are choosing comfort over growth. Which is totally valid. But man, you could probably milk this and get some more guys to generate more business. You could work with them in the mean time while you find a third guy to take over your spot. Just a thought.

You are not neet if you need to check in on your business.
