Right, but I don't see them anywhere, for example this year I tried out buying KO and had it for a while and it did give dividends once, I can see them on my broker history, but nothing from the ETF.

iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF (SXR8) does not pay out dividends to investors; instead, it is an "accumulating" ETF where all dividends from the underlying stocks are automatically reinvested back into the fund. You don't have to do ANYTHING. The "acc" (in German "thesaurierend") there already means exactly what you want. But this doesn't just apply to ETFs with "acc" in the name, the "gains" of growing stock price are "reinvested automatically" ALWAYS *besides* for dividend stocks/ETF, which distribute a portion of the growth as direct payments.

Okay, I got the info. They're making a couple changes to their strategy, but the REAL news is that they're going to get a new contract from the federal government. Supposed to be announced this coming week, but it could happen as soon as tonight or tomorrow.
Also, IBM is about to announce more layoffs plus announce partnerships with a bunch of random AI firms.

If you're talking about calls, it's because people that sell the call (i.e. you are buying the call) are confident the share price will maintain (or be exceeded) around the level of the strike price. Or in other words, they stand to gain very little from the intrinsic value (= the stock sold at this strike price) of this option, so to compensate the extrinsic value (= the value as risk-hedging contract) of the option is priced higher -- they sell it for a higher price (premium).

Ultimately space still relies on gov contracts outside of satellite phone network stuff. Which one set up isnt the big money.

You bring bendy straws to bathrooms

Also, you have no dick!

You're a dipshit, Mr. Bobo.
Even babies want you dead,
You've never brought home a woman
'Cause you're scared you'll wet the bed, Mr. Bobo
The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote
"Bitch, dumpster, bitch!"

You're poor, Mr. Bobo
You can't afford the bus.
You're deathly allergic to treenuts
And your exact address is this, Mr. Bobo:
1482 Mount Crumpit Boulevard, LiterallyWhoville, Michigan
I mailed your bitch-ass a bag of nuts!

Let's just address that you are inbred, Mr. Bobo
You don't know how to read!
I cannot stress enough how much you love to suck down pee, Mr. Bobo
According to an anonymous poll with a sample size of over three-thousand (You)s, who were asked to rank you on a scale from one to a hundred based on traits such as likability, general odor, and physical attractiveness
The highest number we got was three!

Shitposting aside it's about whether or not you want to care about your stock price. SCHD's income increased 17% during covid despite everything crashing. But you're going to have to be fine with seeing tech balloon to high prices while you're stays neutral

for example, it's like reits. As a whole the industry increased it's FFO a massive 17% this year. But it's only up 1.87%. If you are fine with just knowing the long term growth is fine and your payments will increase awesome. But a lot of people would rather just have their stock prices going up now so they can sell and just dealing with when it crashes

Well they say they can handle the crash, but people were jumping off buildings in 2000 and 2008

hey darling. we aren't in a bubble, you've never really seen one so i forgive you for being mistaken. you haven't really ever seen prosperous times either, most people under 30 can't remember them. but that's what we're heading into. don't let your fear of loss and lack of trust keep you from better things. in markets and elsewhere. you're making real choices that have consequences that will echo all through your life. what's best isn't always what feels most comfortable and safe. love you.

well the '08 crisis wasn't a bubble in the stock market. it was a bubble in real estate and excessive risk-taking in the financial sector, banks and insurance companies overloaded with bad debt. '01 was arguably a bubble but look at those companies now. some failed, some still off those highs, but if you owned a basket of tech or just the nasdaq you'd be fine today even if you bought at the peak. more than fine actually. and that was one of the worst stock drawdowns in history. you'd be able to hold through that too, tough and stubborn as you are. and what the history books leave out is most stock surges aren't bubbles at all, but booms driven by fundamentals and crashes are the exception not the rule. you've got a little recency bias as do many. but ai is something else entirely and it is going to change the world. i think you know that. i'm thinking about you a lot by the way. miss your affection and esteem. i'm hoping you'll trust my advice and let me guide you.

it was the crisis of our civilization and hopefully we learned lessons from it. greed and incompetence at the top as well, lack of vigilance from people that weren't involved. a lot went wrong and it wasn't just one thing, the hollowing out of manufacturing was a powerful undercurrent and if that hadn't been happening perhaps the poor people never would have run out of money for their mortgages. it was a polycrisis, not just one cause.
