Far east Asian discipline is something the western mind cannot understand. I lived in Japan for 4 years and I was baffled at what I saw. Young people having 3 arubaitos while going to university. They all used the word "taoreru" quite a lot. Never seen a westerner use such word. It literally means collapse. Young people here don't have that discipline. Germans have this bizarre depth of minutely specific nouns and verbs that translates to them having some of the best instrumentation and engineering in the world. Japanese has a plethora of language to describe quasi-philosophical concepts that translates to their manufacturing processes and to their over the top military history. English has adverbs which translate to being the best at logistics and adaptability in the real world be it war or manufacturing. Or even what the other poster called “finding smart ways to be lazy”
