NLCP, IIPR, TCNNF, CRLBF, GLASF

50%, 20%, 20%, 5%, 5% allocations respectively. Total is around 200k.

Worst case? No growth for 10 years and I collect 10% dividends on principal paid quarterly, which I compound, while sitting on a capital loss if IIPR cuts to 12%.

Best case? Cannabis is legalized or rescheduled, industry begins to take from the black market / hemp market, and an initial hype wave combined with sustained growth for the next year results in a 3-5 year 10x on principal.

The entire fucking market is crabwalking except for AI and a handful of other shit. I'm happy to collect a fat dividend with potential upside.

I tried to make my own chicken sandwiches and pizzas from scratch since prices at restaurants are too damn high(and like you said, quality went way down after covid).

I deep fried chicken breasts in duck fat with panko/seasoned corn breading with brioche buns and kewpie mayonnaise. Then I made margarita pizzas with extra mozzarella/gouda/fontina/pecorino chesses(blocks), alfredo sauce, genovese basil leaves and fresh dough. All of that tasted wwaaaayyyy better and even cheaper too. This feels more like a bearish signal to me if I had to resort to doing that shit.

They had to because of the ancient egyptian theme.

The whole movie, in hindsight and with Roland Emmerich you can't tell since he made several Alien movies, seems to be based on the Ancient Aliens (Astronauts) theory. He had to go with Spears, cause if any being (visitor) had a different weapon the Egyptians likely would have documented in their drawings that but you can't find another modernkind weapon but spears or other archaic stuff. But how would you make them appear still far more advanced? Give them spears with lasers. (Which these Ancient Aliens people also believe Ancient people to have had used but it got lost (and never documented but whatever))

What leverage do you get? I got absolutely assraped once with a 15x leverage, so I am scared to go beyond 5x now. Also, how long do you hold? I usually sell my leveraged calls within 2 days or so, because I am scared it will go down again and I'd rather have a small win (like 10€) that a big loss.
With puts, I also don't use them that often, but with Quantum, it went up 14% in one day and I thought to myself, there is no way in hell it won't dump hard and soon.

I don't understand. 1) Do you need others to choose for you? And 2) how would this suddenly mean that others know what to pick any better than they did before?

Because it kept growing year after year, Apple had become most of my net worth.
I didn't feel this was right and I was thinking of selling most of it and put it into a simple index fund for a very long time, but since it kept gaining I never got the courage to do it.

Then I panic sold near the bottom in April (just under $200) and put it into an index fund. The index has done well since, but Apple has done so much better.
It would have been better to have sold before the crash, or just kept it.

You might think the lesson here is to not sell your Google.
I think the lesson here is to not hold on to things you don't have a lot of conviction on, because then you might panic sell at the worst moment.

I too have the feeling of disbelief that someone as myself with little to no knowledge of market fundamentals or how stocks work could possibly be in that 4 percent.
Unless we are in a tech bubble and its going to pop.
All the stocks ive made money on are pharma, drones, lidar and quantum computing.
Its more than doubled my investment and made me realize ill always be poor because i will never have the extra zeroes at the end my portfolio to invest enough to make it out. Inflation will drown us all while the government keeps handing out checks and devaluing our dollar.

Any other misanthropes here?
My desire to generate wealth has come from independence.
I have a very vivid memory of class peers killing a bee when I was 6 that deeply upset me, realising nobody can be trusted and people are cruel. I cried. This led to being bullied and avoiding people. In recent years this has developed into sheer hatred and disgust. I know I can be cold and calculated and fear I might lose it and do something stupid at some point.

It probably comes from them raising prices, which to subscribers is a sign that they're not making enough money. Whether that's correct or not, if someone kept coming up to you asking for more money it would imply that they're hard up for cash. Losing shows in their catalog, spending on shows or movies that do poorly. There's plenty of evidence for the "meme", and theres no reason for everyone to be familiar with their balance sheet.

So now that that minor detail is out of the way, what do you think about the move to buy WB?

you only lose if you panic and sell.

if you investment horizon is long—at least 25 or 30 years—there is
only one sensible approach: Buy every month, automatically, and
whenever else you can spare some money. The single best choice for
this lifelong holding is a total stock-market index fund. Sell only when
you need the cash (for a psychological boost, clip out and sign your
To be an intelligent investor, you must also refuse to judge your
financial success by how a bunch of total strangers are doing. You’re
not one penny poorer if someone in Dubuque or Dallas or Denver
beats the S & P 500 and you don’t. No one’s gravestone reads “HE
BEAT THE MARKET.”
I once interviewed a group of retirees in Boca Raton, one of
Florida’s wealthiest retirement communities. I asked these people—
mostly in their seventies—if they had beaten the market over their
investing lifetimes. Some said yes, some said no; most weren’t sure.
Then one man said, “Who cares? All I know is, my investments earned
enough for me to end up in Boca.”
Could there be a more perfect answer? After all, the whole point of
investing is not to earn more money than average, but to earn enough
money to meet your own needs. The best way to measure your invest-
ing success is not by whether you’re beating the market but by
whether you’ve put in place a financial plan and a behavioral discipline
that are likely to get you where you want to go. In the end, what mat-
ters isn’t crossing the finish line before anybody else but just making
sure that you do cross it.

why is everyone so afraid of their investments going red? like it's the worst thing in the world? if you need the money in the next 5 years, don't put it into the market. even in those years, 2 of the worst stock drawdowns in history within 7 years of each other, most of the time it was a good time to buy stocks. on a 20 year timeframe, every day was a good time to buy stocks. if you're under 50 and only buy indices there is literally nothing to worry about. with stock picking and leverage things get different but the risks of dca into spy skew heavily to the upside.
either way it is different. valuations are lower than the late 90's, financial institutions are more heavily regulated than the late 00's, and ai is the most significant technological advancement since electricity and surpasses it in importance. a crash is certainly possible, but more likely the stock market just creeps upward with manageable drawdowns for a decade or more. in fact with the technological backdrop a crash up is more likely than a crash down.

Because they got burned by yieldmax and think that capital erosion is the norm. That's why you try to convince people to buy a stable REIT or Royalty Partnership with a 12-14% return like NLCP or KRP, they buy it, it drops 5-10% after a distribution, and they freak the fuck out, panic sell, and eat a loss. Meanwhile the price builds back up slowly over the next quarter, there's a distribution, then the price drops, etc. Fucking zero fundamental analysis.

even back then the valuations made sense for the growth being seen. then it fell off a cliff and didn't come back. i'm not saying the stock market is always rational but it's pricing in the likely future. to make investment decisions based on the stock market looking similar to another time it crashed isn't logical. if you think ai is a fake fad that will pass then sure, avoid the market. i don't though. and the enduring fear and skepticism of the public makes me confident that there's no bubble.

Except you won't, because yieldmax doesn't pay a fixed fucking dividend it pays a percentage. This is the exact type of retardation I'm talking about. Just buy a fucking REIT with a solid business model, not some covered call strategy that will underperform the stock as it goes up and then catastrophically fucking fail as it goes down. The "house money" shit is a scam, which you would know if you weren't mathematically fucking illiterate.

TLDR: If you fucking put $100,000 into any yieldmax you will underperform the actual stock. "House money" is bullshit. Just put it in the actual stock; if it doubles you're playing with house money. If you have it in the YM etf like MSTY or whatever then you'll get LOWER returns that the base stock, and then if the fucking stock goes down, which it eventually will, you get assfucked.

Meanwhile any decent REIT will still be paying income AND growing in 10-20 years.

was not me, just pulled it from this funny vid of people blowing their accounts. But I did just receive a higher level of options trading Friday, so it might be me in the near future.

if you must trade options, buy LEAPS only. but better yet SELL covered calls or covered puts and watch how the price changes. pretend you bought them so you can see how the options price actually changes.

TCNNF, CRLBF, GLASF, NLCP.

NLCP is the best company you can buy right now, for the money.

I had option level 0 for covered calls and cash secured puts and was learning and making some good money (for me) on CRWV then it shit the bed. I am waiting for it rebound a bit before starting again. I tried to buy a LEAP on one stock and got the message I was not approved so I applied for level 1 so I could buy leaps on stocks not in my portfolio. I never go full retard, I am still inching in watching and learning. I am working on some code to query their API because I want to download options data and do some custom calculations on it. That ability is not available in think or swim.

I could not resists, did you see how fat the premiums were? It was great right up until it tanked. But I have a plan to profit - I doubled my shares with the latest price drop, and with the money I made on the premiums before I am just out of the green. The next ramp up I will sell two short expiration deep in the money calls and walk with my profits.

The Fear & Greed index says fear is driving the market.
Is CNN fucking stupid?
The VIX is fucking 15.
The market is right below all time highs.
It should be on Extreme Greed.
I'm so tired of this stupid bullshit.

>Index is a compilation of seven different indicators that measure some aspect of stock market behavior. They are market momentum, stock price strength, stock price breadth, put and call options, junk bond demand, market volatility, and safe haven demand.

momentum broke down, breadth is extremely bad, there is high demand for safe havens like precious metals, and 15 vix is not exactly low. secular growth stocks with real earnings are doing well, the rest of the market not so much. arkk is well off it's all time highs and more than 10% off it's highs of the year. nvidia and google are not the whole stock market.

the subtext of your statement is one of fear and paranoia, as are at least half the posts in this general. so i would say it's pretty right on.

How will you guys reward yourself for the amazing investing gains this year?
Powell better have some good news, and I hope BOJ does not fuck us all

Im thinking doing endoscopic mid face facelift for like 3.5 to 4.5k euros or full on maxillia and cheekbones and jaw Chad light surgery for 15k euro. I hope the latter can also fix my mid cheek fold and nasolabial fold.

Just need those last derivatives to print more to make me feel like I got it for free (although investing capital and using lots of risk is not free)
>>
>>61451200
Well yeah because MSTR sucked this past year and that’s before the dividend. So far it’s paid out like double what it started at last year at ipo and this year alone almost 3x what it’s at now. It’s literally just a waiting game. It could go to zero in 18 months if you bought it today and you would still be up like 50%, that’s the whole point of Yieldmax, since you really can’t get around erosion over time.

I'm a tranny and I'm getting facial feminization surgery along with a lot of other cosmetic treatments.
So glad I have a fuckton of money now
>>
>>61452035
Its your money, and you should invest in YOURSELF. Especially if its long term and makes you actually happy.
Beats stupid food delivery every day, traveling to a poor country to see poor ugly people or getting whatever new chink gadget they market.

I did abdominoplasty to remove that sagging skin from my stomach and it was the best thing I ever did.

Also, better do it now before people panic about AI and cause a 20% drawdown

So you are doing chin, jaw, nose bridge? Also, dont do the thing other trannies do and just get fat. Its stupid and ugly. Do it, a bit, only if you get BBL or something.
>>
>>61452013
Cosmetic surgery always felt disgustingly vain to me. Like if God exists then anyone who did it is 100% going to hell for sure. But if you dont believe in that then its probably fine, just another thing to spend money on.

I don't really have this problem. Maybe a little bit idk. But if I had more money I would literally get ALL of the treatments lol

My chin/jaw is already very feminine.
I just need slight bump on nose removed and bone above eyebrow or whatever it's called shaved. That and general blepharoplasty

Why not maximize how people how people perceive you? What else better to buy with your money than something that is in use 24h a day and makes all of your human interactions a tad better? Beats getting that retard tax called a new car. Timepieces? Art?
I think its also a thing about competition. I would like to be better

>>61452118
It is vain. But so are most things we spend money on. Never understood people that spend 20k on a new kitchen and then order Wolt delivery or just microwave pizza. Or buying clothes anywhere than Primark (not boots tho). Surgery is a better investment than any article of clothing, or accessory or a gadget from ROI standpoint.
I am not religious, no.

>>61452188
I would certainly be doomed either way because:
I have been gluttonous since I was an infant (grandma, dad also were like this, I am finally now sort of managing it by being a gymrat) on my moms breasts,
prone to wrath since I was a toddler,
I lie even though I do try to be honest,
cheated (school, uni, work...),
stole (I never legally bought a video game in my life),
cursed God,
and I offered no generosity whatsoever to beggars but actually I yelled at most for being filthy gypsies,
there is never a day I do not envy a bit,
I lust few times a day,
greedy daily because I dont want to be the really poor ever again (other kids went skiing, we did not have enough money to get plastic sleds to roll in the nearby park)

>>61452161
But dont overspend it. You still need capital to grow capital. Abdominoplasty leaves a scar, be careful if you go that route. Usually that is only for really ugly skin problem.
>>
>>61452280
>You still need capital to grow capital.
yeah I know, I'm up to $400k right now, I dont want to miss out on gains over the next year
>Abdominoplasty leaves a scar
can't the scars be removed?

Very true.
Not only surgery but experimental health treatments.

If its a huge one, hip to hip, there is going to be a lot of laser treatments and micro needling to get that bitch out.

>yeah I know, I'm up to $400k right now, I dont want to miss out on gains over the next year
Nice work, if the market does not shit the bed next year you will be close to mil in 2 years.

What worries me is will I have available capital when the market takes a piss? I really hope we are not in late 1998 but in 1996-7 situation so we can ride it more, ofc.
OpenAI makes no money, sure, but Google can afford to do space shit and 10 other things and still not really feel it on its balance sheet. Even retarded Benioffs Salesforce continues to grow in both revenue and customers and makes money. Scams are being discovered, but its all still small potatoes
>>

I'm mostly invested in gold mining companies so I think I may hit that within 8 months

I think all of tech is in a massive bubble due to easy credit and it's inevitable there's going to be a massive crash
>>
>>61452309
You can find a thing or two. Like tshrits, socks, boxers, even sweatpants or shorts for the gym. I have those and they last for years and years now. Jackets and boots would be actually wasteful to get there because they really are bad.
I never found anything good (in terms of fit) in H&M. C&A is ok, but it was better before price wise
Shoes and boots is just a waiting game when huge sales are on

>>61452344
>soooooo you're saying it's possible?
I guess it could be, yes.
>I'm mostly invested in gold mining companies so I think I may hit that within 8 months
Come on, now. Fuckups will happen, add yourself a margin of another 8 months at least
>I think all of tech is in a massive bubble due to easy credit and it's inevitable there's going to be a massive crash
Crash, or a drawdown will happen. I just hope its not next year, still seems like there is room to grow and things are still not totally silly. We still did not put AI into pharma and health in a big way, for example. I would like to see Pfizer going all in with AI, then give it about 2-3 quarters
