It's finally here. BTC is finally going to be as legitimate as gold
>>
For it to be as legitimate as gold it would need to survive something like a large scale civilizational collapse.

Honestly, there isn't enough granular evidence to suggest when civilization collapses gold continues to hold its value. There is nothing pointing to there being no gaps. Sure it comes back in value and sits on its throne in the end again and again but especially during particularly harsh downturns, everyone will barter. Imagine Mad Max, will there be enough gold to buy some of your few guns or ammo?

Until you can hold it and appreciate its beauty, no

It isnt that sparkly in real life though. So even stock images are AI generated now?
>>
>>61451582
It's only that sparkly immediately after it's been poured from molten state, goofy anon

I havent melted my bars nor have I ever seen them recently melted except for in videos and they don't look like this. You can look at it yourself, see any youtube video at a gold refiner.

It's beautiful. You know gold was created as a byproduct of neutron star merges and some supernovas?

It is called recalescence and happens as gold solidifies, here is an example with a very small amount

I love Cody, I watched the video just now and saw the flash that happened as it solidifies but the stock video from earlier is glimmering afterwards as if covered with glitter. I am not disputing recalescence but I don't think that's recalescence in the stock video.
