How old were you when you finally realized your parents were stupid and financially illiterate and were actually a burden toward your financial success?
>>
OP is a massive flaming faggot
>>
>>62261925
the correct answer was all of the above?
>>
>>62262101
>alright, nobody replied. Let me switch ips real quick so i can samefag my own thread
OP the colossal fag. Miles and miles of dildos in his own ass. They say you can walk inside his asshole without ducking.
>>
>>62262101
I think it’s C because that’s the only one where both shapes are the same size, indicating that the left area does in fact equal the right.
>>
>>62262117
Sorry but I'm not OP, Sherlock. I'm just curious what's /biz's take on picrel
>>
>>62262134
This is correct, but the real question is why is math doing this type of trickery.is it so it can fail white people to make blacks look better?
>>
>>62262298
I was good at maths, but these "hah, gotcha" tests are so fucking retarded. No information is given that the area of both figures need to be equal, it's just about the numbers.
>>
>>62262298
>>62262372
Holy shit how is this a "hah gotcha" test? I bet you'd call an IQ test a "hah gotcha" test too.

> No information is given that the area of both figures need to be equal

"2/6 = 1/3"
Holy shit nigger. What does the equals sign mean?
>>
>>62262134
This is a case where the dumbest person will ace the test.
>>
It's clearly A though
>>
>>62262514
evaluation of abstract number space (the fractional expression given) is very different from literal measurement

whaaaat? Are both C. figures even milimetrically tested as equal shapes? that's bullshit, but I see your point. I stand by "all of the above are correct" answer. They all are 2/6=1/3
>>
>>62262134
>>62262117
>>62262101
A & B are both correct. C is wrong because it’s a cube, and not all sides are shown.
>>
>>62261925
When I was a newborn my parents paid a doctor to mutilate my penis for no reason.
>>
It's a because it show the progress of combining the blocks together. Other figures do not show the progress.

God American education is retarded
>>
>>62261925
Must be C because it's the only one that's wrong. How in the fuck would a 2d object with 1/3rd of its sides shaded in show you that a 3d object with 1/6th of its sides shaded in is the same
>>
>>62261925
I;'m not a seehing eenage retard. like you with zero respect for their family or even their own dna. Ifeel genuoniel sorry for our parentst o be cursed with a vegeable like you. Almost certainly you are a fucking moron.
>>
>>62262798
shame they did not go for your head instead of your penis
>>
>>62262897
Are you drunk?
>>
>>62262897

Why are you seething?
>>
>>62261925
About 8 years old, when i told them how much they spend for cigs and alcohol everyday but they didnt listen anyway. Only complaining they dont have money for anything (but for those two, they always had).
>>
>>62262612
In C. these arent even 2D figures but 3D, those are cubes edges rendered with and without occlusion culling.
>>
>>62262134
>>62262298
Wrong. It's about ratios so the absolute areas don't matter at all.
>>
>>62261925
Took me til 30. I guess I get that for living with them til then.
>>
The IQ of this thread is 80 max

for my mother it was the period around 2013-2014. she got audited by the IRS and got hit with a huge penalty. she was deep into real estate. started as an agent but had “bought” a lot of apartments that she rented out. lost everything after the audit. she actually ended up having to borrow money from me, which she did eventually pay back. my father wasn’t really dumb with money. he just never made a lot of money. he did invest but he had never really heard of ETFs so he was just picking random stocks, some of which did well, like Apple and AMD and some which didn’t, like Disney. he mostly lived off of a pension in retirement anyway, so it didn’t really matter.
>>
>>62262514
Pity reply
>>
>>62261925
How old will you be when you realize that the persuit of Money is meaningless. Probably the worst of all, on your death bed. When all opportunities and chances are gone.
>>
>>62261925
like 14
>>
>>62265222
i realized that already. All wealth can and will be lost, you might pass some to your kids. and start a lineage.
However in the end everything is meaningless, love, looks, wealth, health, does it means you should be an impotent loser failling in all those aspects?
Fuck your nihilism
>>
>>62265276
>gets taxed 90% on inheritance
nothing personnel
>>
>>62263071
so then it's not C. the lines you see through the shape don't contribute to the ratios both shapes and shading in C are identical
>>
>>62265643
yes just be poor and consoom with no thought of tomorrow, don't achieve anything it's all meaningless
>>
>>62262101
The correct answer is C. It shows 2/6ths of a 6 pointed object and shows 1/3rd of a 6 pointer object, and the 6 pointed objecte are the same dimensions, so they equate to the same thing...

A and B are incorrect because the proportional sizes are different.
>>
>>62264546
Incorrect because the equation is 2/6 = 1/3

So the input of 2/6 has to be proportionally the same measurement.
>>
>>62261925
I have had unconscious distaste for my backwards, boomer, low-information loser parents since I was 18 but at the time I was not financially independent or educated enough to understand why. It took me until I was in my 30s to realize how dumb and ignorant they choose to be. I would pity them, but my pity would be misinterpreted as weakness and I would suffer for it.
>>
judging your parents using your current context and status is peak low iq behaviour, you have no access to any of their experiences to know if they could have done any better, it just says you are an inexperienced immature person and nobody would respect you if they heard what you had to say about them since they taught you most of what you know
>>
>>62266075
it doesn't matter, it's a fraction, a ratio. All of these are correct
>>
>>62266243
And fractions have to equal each other.

If I have 1 = 1 that can be represented as 1/1 = 1/1

1 = 2 can be represented as 1/2 = 2/2

Therefore if you have on left side 2 slices equals 2/6th, that is equal to 1/3rd of the same amounts of both sides not just the ratios.

You can't have just a pure ratio equality without considering the proportions. = literally means equality.

Say if you do a sum to divide by 2, that's essentially 50 percent or 1/2. But the size of that half I.e half a liter vs half a gallon is completely different.
>>
>>62266238
The low IQ move for me would be trying for the 9001st time to rebuild a relationship with my parents only to be constantly guilt tripped by my backwards, ignorant mother, and randomly yelled at and slapped around by my narcissistic pill head retard father. They definitely did not teach me most of what I know, their methods are completely disconnected from reality and it took me a long time to undo the damage they did to me.
>>
>>62266265
>1 = 2 can be represented as 1/2 = 2/2

Mmm not following there. 1 =/= 2 and 1/2 =/= 2/2
but i get your point, the figures size differs so the ultimate value represented is not the same for A and B. so only C should be true.
But the fractions 2/6 = 1/3 is always correct so i don't know if you have to take into account.
>>
>>62266273
i am not saying you need to rebuild anything, i am saying being quick to judge is stupid, as retarded as they may appear, you barely know them, yes even after growing up with them, you barely know the conditions that they grew up in while using your current environment as your pedestal, being quick to judge is easy and often leads to most children just repeating their parents mistakes

Someone please explain this to me, have pity on an absolute retard.
>>
>>62262724
>it’s a cube
How do you know it's a cube? So you have to treat the second half of C as three dimensional?

Ok, then I will argue that the second figures of A and B are three dimensional, too. You are looking from above and all three parts are on different levels. A actually looks like some stairs, if you look from the side.
>>
>>62262597
But the two figures aren't showing equivalency in b
>>
>>62266981
the teacher marked a correct answer as wrong and now midwits and retards are justifying the teacher's incorrect answer either ironically or because they're actually stupid
>>
>>62266981
there's also an undercurrent of mocking authority by implying that the teacher could not possibly be wrong because they are the teacher, and teachers can't be wrong.

this is amusing because authorities are often stupid and wrong, despite their entire job being being not wrong.
>>
its a testament to our ability to teach that most people arent illiterate cavemen
>>
>>62267247
selection bias
you're engaged in a forum that requires some measure of literacy.
This does not imply that most people can read.

same with surveys of literacy. I bet those surveys are written, huh? Go figure.
>>
>>62262134
This.
>>62262556
Nah, bruh. It's multiple choice and A and B are the same and there must be one correct answer.
>>62262887
No, it's about absolute size. A and B both had a smaller object on the left.
>>62262889
>3d object
That's just your misinterpretation since that's how you often see people draw cubes. The right side of C can just as easily be interpreted as a flat 2d object and it is the only one that shows the same size area and thus 2/6 = 1/3.
>>62267190
>>62267213
Nah, bruh. You're just sub or mid IQ.
>>
>>62265222
checked. >>62265276
i know its retared but i dont want to live in a nursing home with niggers beating the shit out of me. I want to be able to afford a house with a private doctor.
>>
>>62267697
>You're just sub or mid IQ.
says the dumbass that thinks a ratio says anything about the total quantity
>>
>>62262724
Its not a cube retard why would this one suddenly be 3d, the other is a sphere too then?
>>
>>62262514
Its a gotcha test, fuck you.
>>
>>62267190
And yet you aren't the one being the teacher, funny that.

the thick fat border on the hexagon is not part of the area so the areas are not equal.
the correct answer is none of the above.
>>
>>62266102
boomer parents are a curse.
>>
>>62261925
The 3 figures are correct, you retards.
I have no idea why the teacher decided to mark it as wrong instead of giving the kid a partial score, but that's really fucking stupid, and I bet the poor kid got even more confused by that (like the bunch of retards who are still arguing ITT).
But I'm not a teacher, so I don't know the reasoning behind the scoring. I can only assume that they want the kids to be rigorous rather than partially right.
