>100k is the new 30k>the new make it number is now 5m minimum
>>62264668I can live off the returns from $2M easily.Much less if I'm willing to move into a 3rd world shithole (I'm not).
>>62264668in balkans i can retire with 100k
>>62264668Only in the US but there you can easly earn 200k/year according to anons
>>622646683m after taxes, so a total of about 8m if you're investing in crypto (you're going to get taxed twice, once from crypto to USDC, another from USDC to dollars) is enough to live comfortably for the rest of your life in a flyover state or countryside. 5m after taxes means you can live a comfortable middle class life style without working in a city that actually matters. to really "make it" aka popping bottles and yacht parties consistently you need at least 10m after taxes, which is more like 30m if you're in crypto.
>>62264668Something like that, you can probably scrape-by on 3m while still living a full life.>>62265140This is incredibly precarious. 2m is the single, no-decent-home option. it's doable as a launching pad for something else. The problem with all these is that the reality is that if you were making it to 2 mil somehow and you quit that something, whether it's a job or crypto, you actually have no way to get to 3 mil without risking it all over again. "Living on 2 mil" is having that 2 mil invested in something safe. It's enough to work on some business without panic attacks though.
if i had $2m id fucking kill myself
>>62264668just wait...oil shock hasn't even begun yet. the second order effects are still coming
>>62266657That's why >>62266635 applies, you "retire" on your 2 mil and suddenly you eat another scenario where gas doubles and everything else 1.5Xes
>>62265140>2m$I have that now, but feel I need $5m at least for the time I still have naturally
